Bar Italia in Hillingdon

I’ll not be visiting this place EVER again. Had a few incidents with their old bouncers because I was accused of being a working girl. Disgusting behaviour! I called to make a complaint with their manager and he was so apologetic about it and told me that those bouncers will be replaced. Which they did and I’m so thankful for that. The manager told me to comeback again whenever I’m around the area and ask for him so he can give me a complimentary drink. Me and my friend decided to go there last Saturday but refused entry with no explanation. We didn’t do anything wrong. All we did was asked for the manager like I was told to. I find this place very strange. I used to go there a lot and we never caused any troubles. They’ve treated me with a very little respect and made me feel like a criminal. Very disappointed!

I had just bought a drink and someone knocked it over before I drank it , the manager refused was very rude and not understanding, he is the one who served me and in two seconds my drink was all over knowing it was not my fault yet was so rude to assist. This is not the manner to treat paying customers.

I visited here with a friend for a catch up instead of going into London as had popped in a couple of weeks before for Happy Hour cocktails. Brunch was £25 for 2 courses and unlimited cocktails or prosecco and was really lovely. The food was delicious, the cocktails were amazing and the the staff were lovely. I've recommended this to my friends and we're looking to book very soon.

Drinks weren't that good and were overpriced. DJ kept ruining our fun dancing by playing songs in completely different BPMs at the same time and it sounded awful. Bouncer kept trying to flirt with me too which was weird.

me and my 5 other friends went there last Saturday and the door staff was very welcoming as we had 1 of our disabled friend birthday and when he walk the security thought he is drunk when I explained he is disabled not a drunk then security tall man give him hug and wish him happy birthday too. Which is put Smile on his face we all felt really nice and I would definitely visit again and recommended to all my other friends and family. it was great night and good environment. specially thanks to door staff for looking my friend.

I visited last night for my sister's birthday. I wasn't drinking and was refused entry because I didn't have ID I am 41 the door men were rude obnoxious and I stood outside with two other people again over the age of 40 refused entry, age discrimination it seemed, the doorman refused to get the manager when I asked and my sister got him and he said I could go in at that point I did not want to and we left, the security let a couple of young girls in that definitely didn't look over 21 without checking ID - I will be making a formal complaint to Head office on Monday. if you are over 40 this bar doesn't want you to go drink there on a weekend.

I really recommend this bar-restaurant. The food is delicious, the prices are very good and the atmosphere is very pleasant - the terrace is wonderful for a warm and sunny summer day.

I've been here phew times with my friends and any time we popped in we enjoy the food(is very good)and the cocktails wich are very tasty. All staff members are polite and they always come to out table to ask how we feel,if we need something else ,they make you feel very welcome. Speant roughly £100 here for my mum's 57th ,popped out front for a smoke as the back was packed and wasn't allowed back in. Manger polite but security guard was clearly on some kind of power trip. All practically sober but as we went out just past a certain time was told we had to be on a list . Would have been nice to be warned . Massive shame . Mums gutted

A friend and I went for a lovely lunch at our local Bar Italia this week. We felt completely safe there, everything was so clean and there was hand sanitizer stations everywhere. The food and drinks were amazing and so was the atmosphere and service.

The staff ( especially Aga) are so warm and friendly, didn't rush us at all, the food was delicious and mock-tails / cocktails were gorgeous. Reasonably priced.My first time eating here since covid-19 and they have done a brilliant job lots of hand sanitizer stations around the restaurant , tables 2 metres apart. I would highly recommend.

The staff are all wonderful and friendly, especially Aga who served most of our drinks. The cocktails are top class, atmosphere is lovely, and they've done a good job keeping things COVID safe - hand sanitizer at the door, outdoor tables which are nicely spaced apart, and one member of your party has to have the test and trace app before you enter. Had a takeaway from Bar Italia last night and it was superb! We collected ourselves and if you do that you get a discount.

First I would like to thank James, for organising a driver to deliver to us in Iver. Above and beyond, you should ask for a pay rise. Cocktails were outstanding, came in a box with ice and fruit. They are Instagram perfect, so pretty, whoever thought of this is a genius. I'm sorry we had it with KFC, next time we will order food too.

I have visited here for food probably over 30 times and it was always been amazing. The pizzas were authentic, fresh and crispy. The starters were always consistent. Honestly never had a disappointing meal here in years. A few months ago we grabbed a takeaway and the food was really poor. The food looked and tasted completely different. The pizzas were soggy and tasteless. I assumed it was a one off, maybe poor because it was a takeaway. A few weeks later we returned to eat in the restaurant and it was the same. Just awful. The usually amazing garlic prawns were inedible and entirely unrecognisable to the usual dish. The pizzas were underdone, tasteless and again unrecognisable. So greasy we had to leave most of it untouched. I’m not sure what has happened. The menu seems to have changed, not positively whatsoever. I really hope things change as we would love to be back enjoying the food and supporting a local business once lockdown is over.

This is my 2nd time to Uxbridge and I was recommended to visit a bar called Bar Italia and I am so glad I went! The staff were so friendly and helpful and pioneers in mixology, I enjoyed a beautifully blended Long Island Ice Tea to drink and as it was 2 for 1 I had many! To eat I had a delicious Lamb Shank and it was nothing less than beautiful.I would highly highly recommend this Bar situated in Uxbridge, they have DJ’s every Friday and Saturday, when I return I know where I’m heading!

I have booked a table for 16 people and pre ordered the food 2 days ahead.Was disappointed with the service as the table we have been given had only covers for 14 people so I had to ask for extra table to be added.Another problem was the food, the starters came out together with the mains and some of the meals were ok and some really bad,for example my order was the wild boar ravioli and was cold also some meals didnt arrive at all and once I told them we dint want it anymore they ended up serving the missing meals after everyone else have finished theirs way before.No organisation whatsoever! Came here for our works Christmas party and couldn’t have asked for a better party! The food was delicious and served quickly and hot. The staff were friendly with nothing ever being too much. We stayed the whole evening as the tables got cleared away and the dancing begun. The music was fab with a wide range of songs which catered to our whole party. Went for friends birthday party and one of our friends is Sikh he was wearing a beanie instead of a turban due to this he was asked leave the premises and escorted out by security ,not impressed at all,disappointed

Came for Xmas party, food was good, service was slightly rushed and shouted as the bar was busy. Tables cleared and room made for dance floor, was dancing in sandals and a girl dropped her glass on the floor - bouncer by the back door witnessed this and the glass had gone in between my foot & sandal and cut my foot so my night ended in a deep cut wound. If you want to have drinks on the dance floor have someone there to clean it up, could of been a lot worse and for that reason wouldn’t go back.

Came for a works party on Friday night and we had the best time. Staff couldn't do enough for us and the food was fantastic, best pizzas outside Italy! Cocktails are amazing, especially the Flirtini. Really like the decor, can't wait to come back for our Christmas party :)

Come here most Thursdays after work and love the bbq pulled pork bun. Spaghetti with meatballs also good. Nice relaxed atmosphere and reasonable prices. Happy hour on cocktails is great when you’re not driving.

Ok so we came here for a works do and the waitress was quite moody rolling her eyes as all our guests hadn't arrived quite yet and we wanted to wait till all our guests had arrived till we ordered and she was pushy throughout. When the food came one dish was cold and had to be reheated, a salad came with literally just rocket - no dressing,no parmesan and no pesto very odd and we had to ask them to remake it. The pasta servings were generous as was the calzones and the calamari was also good. It's a shame as it's really nice bar I can imagine it's a great and buzzy place for the evenings. It's just a shame the food and service was very sloppy to say the least. I'll happily come for a drink but sorry I will pass on the food in the future.

Came here on a Saturday night after having dining next door ( I didn't know it was part of the same place) we were put on the guest list and the wonderful Giancarlo from Nona Rosa escorted us into the bar. All staff were friendly and were very good at making cocktails. Lovely experience and we will definitely be back again.

Really good pizzas. Service not the best (ie no checkbacks on food, no sauces offered etc) but kind of to be expected as it seems like more of a drinking establishment than a restaurant, but the food is surprisingly decent.

Didn't even know this place did food, great chicken salad. This dish is huge, cheese and pancetta. My friend had the mac 'n' cheese without pancetta and that was fit for a king. We had their home made pink gin which was so delicious and looked like something out of an old fashioned sweet shop. We didn't stay until the end, but we danced for at least an hour armed with their amazing cocktails. The mama one with strawberry we both had, and this did not disappoint. Will be back to stay until the end-hopefully!

What a place!!!!!! I held my husbands 40th birthday do here saturday 2nd feb. I reserved a large area and they staff were all so accomodating every step of the way. I was allowed to decorate how i wished and nothing was too much trouble. The area i reserved was sectioned off with a red rope and we had our own section of bar with a designated bar maid for the evening. Who was also lovely. I ordered pizza and bar snacks for our guests and it was delicious. Then the dj came on!!! He was amazing and litterally brought the house down! We all danced as the tunes were so good you couldnt not!!!!!! I would thoroughly reccomend bar italia. Great venue great food and great vibe. Many many thanks

Sunday lunchtime, place was empty but for ourselves! Service was very good. Food was generous and good quality. Noreason notto visist but think it's more ofa night time venue!

We went for lunch during a weekday. It was quite cold outside and a bit chilly inside too but there was with a heater near our table. Food was solid with good flavors and the portions were very large! You will not go away hungry and can probably take away leftovers to have another whole meal at least. One of our party had lasagna, we also tried the soup and a calzone. Our server was friendly and helpful.

A OK venue with a rude bouncer, I come here to celebrate my friends leaving party. I never caused any trouble and went out for fresh air! The bouncer in the HAT refused me entry after going outside for fresh air. The bouncer was extremely rude and I waited outside in the cold when in desperate need to use the toilet, a big shame and honest review. I wish you all the best and I would truly avoid. To add my friend was pushed by the same bouncer as he refused him to exit for fresh air. The drinks are also very over priced. I will never come back simply due to the rude bouncer, short slim guy with a HAT, who had an unnecessary attitude when we were polite in every respect. The other bouncer seemed pleasant when I explained about their colleague rude mannerism. I checked the reviews below and seems like their is a similar review regarding the bouncers attitude below.

We went to Bar Italia for our work Xmas party so there were 10 of us of all ages. The food ok a bit hit and miss. Everyone who had the turkey said it was lovely but those of us who had lasagne found it overwhelmingly salty with a strong flavour of tomato paste. Portions were huge. What was disappointing was no party atmosphere. The DJ seemed to be catering for a group of 20 somethings with obscure chilled vibes music. There was a girl taking over the dance floor drunk with her dress round her waist, bum and fanny out acting like a stripper for over an hour so most of us got up and left after the meal because of this atmosphere which was a shame.

Not a bad bar, Can get busy. No ale on sale, so settled for Perroni. Downside, wife had to settle for her red wine in ahalf pint glass, as all wine glasses were out on the floor.
