I came looking for another place I’d ate from a while back on Narborough Rd, it had closed down but we were buzzing to find this place instead! Fresh, well cooked and great flavours. Great lads serving as well il definitely be coming back ☺️ Thanks lads, Dave K

My self and my brother ordered from this establishment recently. I have to say I haven't been shocked like this in a long time. We were given one sauce between two people. The chicken breast burger was more of a mini fillet and the bread was cakey due to it not being fresh. The burger was wet because the salad was not drained properly after being washed. Really bad experience, extremely embarrassing as I fed my brother this food. Why are you guys operating a business in this way? if you can't manage it properly close up and work at a superstore or something. Wake up early tomorrow, do a deep clean, get some training in cooking grilled food and improve your business. 1. WEAR STAFF MATCHING UNIFORM. 2. WEAR CLEAN SHOES TO WORK. 3. CONTRACT THE CLEANING TO A CLEANING COMPANY IF YOUR STAFF DO NOT KNOW HOW TO KEEP A PLACE LOOKING PRESENTABLE. 4. FOLLOW HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES If you can't adhere to all of those above you should seriously consider your life choices. WAKE UP AND STOP RELIVING WHAT I BELIEVE MUST BE A NIGHTMARISH CYCLE!

So went here with a bunch of mates and I tell you what I’m HAPPY I did. I had sliders something 3 small sized burgers 3 different flavours. Lamb, beef and chicken. At first sounded strange but surprisingly really good and price weren’t bad. Now that being said at the time chips could have been a little better but no complaints really. So yeah if you around this area jump in and give it a try. Also the way they cook it is pretty cool check it out in photos. Keep an eye out for my other reviews for around Leicester as I’ll be trying a new place every time.

Dear Bbq Base, In the past, our overall experience with your restaurant has been very good. You amended our order to our requirements and the man I spoke to on the phone was very pleasant! Although our deliveries have been slightly late in the past this has not been a problem. HOWEVER, a recent experience with your delivery lady has caused us to think twice about ordering from you. She was extremely rude and impatient (She was ringing the doorbell numerous times after we had already answered the door and were grabbing her change.) She complained that there was no where to park on the road, however, the car was parked on our driveway. She could not wait 60 seconds for her money and came accross extremely rude. We do not appreciate this considering the £4 delivery charge and that we always have the patience when waiting for our food to arrive (Once again, it always being late which was never an issue) We hope her service improves so it does not make your restaurant look bad as the food is good.

Really not impressed with this service,, Delivery was confirmed for 2.20, nearly an hour after ordering, then did not arrive on time, the restaurant blamed it totally on just eat and would not give any apology . the food was cold !

Not happy with my order at all! We ordered 2 shredded chicken meals, the chicken wasn't even shredded it was like waste bits of chicken and it was mostly fatty not only that the food was cold, what a waste of £16! We couldn't even eat them so it's now in the bin and when i called the restaurant they wasn't very professional at all, and there customer service is very poor they wouldn't deal with the problem and spoke to me rude, not happy!!

Had the large mixed grill cooked medium spicy. Definitely worth the money for the amount of meat in the platter. Shared with my son and it filled us, the different tastes all over the dish surprises the taste buds. My new go to on Just Eat in the west end of Leicester

Having read the reviews I thought I would give it a go and wasn’t disappointed! The food was really nice, good sized portions for the price, chips came crispy, chicken and lamb were really juicy and flavourful and delivery was about 15 minutes early! Will definitely be ordering from here again, can’t fault them!

Great food great service! Food arrived piping hot and was delicious, drinks were nice and cold. Staff friendly and delivery almost 30 minutes early. Will definitely order again. Bit expensive and that’s saying something considering I live in London however the quality of food and service made up for it

I have eaten here a few times and the last time was in January. I have always enjoyed eating a good meal here. On my last visit I noticed theyve changed the layout and the menu. Appeared that the vendors have changed. They were HMC certified but not any more.

I ordered online via Hungryhouse for the mixed grill. The price quoted was around £15. When I went to collect and paid, I seen the menu instore charged the same meal for £9. I confronted the cashier who initially refused to refund me the difference and blamed it on Hungryhouse. I called Hungryhouse who informed me that BBQ base are contracted to set the price on the HH website as the same price instore. They can not charge more. I finally received a refund and returned the food. I did not eat any, but I looked at the portion size and it was laughable. Even the £9 in store price would be overpriced. Avoid.

Food 🥘 was not ready although I was a couple mins late .... and then I ate at home .. only to find I had a dismal salad and a piece of chicken that had clearly been cooked until it was dry ... I like BBQ base on this occasion disappointing

Got the wrong food.. misleading "Jerk chicken" (It was not Jerk Chicken). Narborough road manager/supervisor was extremely rude. Hung up the phone on me without resolving the issue and refused to refund me or give me a substitute meal when I needed it.

Love the BBQ chicken and chips from this cafe. The rice and coleslaw are very tasty, too. Not the most glamorous place to eat but clean. Definitely a cut above other chicken joints.

Estimated delivery time 1hr and 15 mins on a late Monday evening. Absolutely ridiculous. Called takeaway and was told they could do it in 45 mins. Decided to collect myself as it would be ready in 7 mins!!

Whilst the food was tasty, albeit a little cold; our delivery time was quoted to be an hour after ordering - not so bad. However, the food actually arrived an extra 45 minutes past this, with the restaurant promising to call us back with updates (three times) but failing to do so. There was no real apology or reason why our food took 1hr 45 to be delivered less than one mile away. Not great.

Very over priced 7.50 for a box of pulled chicken and rice plus no no option to not include a drink. Very dissapointed cost £20 for two of us and was still hungry after.

The blurb online all seemed interesting. Handmade burgers, Mongolian grills etc. Yet again another example of poor execution. Good ideas and concepts are only any good when the food tastes good. Surroundings and decor matter very little, and the surroundings here weren't special. So the handmade burger was sizeable. Unfortunately cremated, burnt and extremely dry. Bun was stale. Chips were anaemic. Can't really recommend this place at the moment, with work I'm sure it would be fine but a major rethink needed.

The food was absolutely terrible, burnt old chips. The lamb chops were of awful quality with shop bought chilli sauce added on. Also delivery time was for 19:45, came at 18:25!! Will not be ordering from here again.

Guy rang me 4 times for directions and when he finallly got here, instead of apologising for my food being late, told me when I order, I shouldnt give my address because its too hard to find and instead, I should give an adjacent address?? Plus they delivered normal coke which I detest instead of diet. The actual food was absolutely delicious though.

Very good food and good service - even the allgergy advice was done correctly. The o ly reason its not got full stars because I thought the very expensive 'boneless jerk chicken' would be a butterfly or fillet;Not chopped chicken mixed with peppers.

Coleslaw is amazing, rice is nice although a bit dry. Chicken has good flavour. If your thinking of ordering chips then I would advise having masala chips, smell and taste beaut, chips without the flavouring aren't great. Don't agree with you having to order a drink with meal deal before you can add to your basket, this should be an extra or included in meal deal.

As always fantastic food! Just Eat failed to tell Bar BQ Base my chosen delivery time and Just Eats customer service advisor wasn't helpful at all however Bar BQ Base were exceptional with sorting the issue and delivered fresh hot food at the correct time :) And it was delicious guys! Our new favourite takeaway :)

Overall it was a very good meal. Whilst ordering online, it was compulsory that we buy drinks aswell otherwise we could not proceed with the transaction. Some customers may not want to buy so its something to think about.

Great food although delivery driver suggested I might want to down scale on the level of spice by taking one look at me at the door when he saw I asked for hot level of marinade. I'm a vet of the spice. You sir were wrong. Tucking into the complimenting meats of lamb chops chicken wings kebabs and more chicken I stopped, reviewed the data from my taste buds and thought if anything I could of chosen extra hot, but the only reason I didn't was because I was new to this establishment, and didn't want to judge the chef before I had some reliable evidence of his spice guides. All being said was satisfied and would certainly recommend them.
