A lovely Portuguese dining experience just a stones throw away from Camden Station. I would recommend the francesinha. Generous portions and very tasty! Will definitely be coming back again.

I wanted to introduce my mother to Portuguese food, specifically Francesinha. The waitress gave us the option of either spicy or medium. I said two mediums clearly, but we got served two spicy plates. Time was getting on, so we had to go.

DISHONESTY Took my parents there when they visited me as the shop next door was not open. The food was ok but dry. However, the lady who worked/owned there charged £5.2 for one of the dishes when it said £4 on the wall. When questioned, she said she could not find the item we ordered in her cash register and she chose another one at the same price in it. I pointed out that it said £4 on the board but the lady insisted that the price on there was wrong. She thought we were just tourists and she could fool me like this. I gave up and left. A difference of £1.2 is not a big deal but dishonesty is a huge matter. I will never take or recommend anyone to go there.

I had a lunch set menu including soup + main dish + a drink + dessert + an expresso on sunday all just for £15. All were really tasty. The chicken soup was flavourful and cozy. The main dish of that day was cuttlefish, it tasted very fresh, had a lovely presentation and yummy. The dessert was some kind of custard pudding with cream, my boyfriend completely loved it. Would recommend if you want to try some nice Portuguese food for an affordable price ☺️

So... I've read the reviews here and got very excited about it...thing is I got there with my husband at 5.30pm for a francesinha and they told me:"we close at 7pm'. So... I don't know how the francesinha is but the customer service is incredibly awful.

Only 5-7 minutes walking distance from either Morning Crescent or Candem Town Tube stations, they have one of the best Francesinha I have ever eaten in London. Food is tasty, portions are decent size, price is cheap and service is friendly and informal. Feels like eating at someone's house. Will be coming back for sure next time we are in Candem Town.

If you crave excellent traditional Portuguese and all the savoury treats we have in our cuisine, this is the place to go! "Pastéis de Bacalhau" (cod dumplings), "Rissóis de leitão" (suckling pig) or octopus salad amongst other starters, they have a bit of everything to put in the mood for an even more impressive and delicious bunch of main dishes. The place is not fancy but do not judge the boom by its cover. A very very recommended place with a lovely staff to spoil you!

Una vez antes probé una Francesinha en su ciudad natal de Oporto, Portugal, y todo lo que puedo decir es que la que tenía en Bar & Co en Camden no me decepcionó. Fue simplemente perfecto. Un bonito y pequeño restaurante familiar.

Authentic Portuguese no frills bar and eatery. Legit as u like. Local as anything. Fresh prawns authentic eats, perhaps a little pricey for the level, but I felt like I walked off the back streets of Porto for a brief scruffy moment in Camden and that's what I wanted. So me like. @globalfoodquest

Crecí en Porto, y casi como todos los que crecen en Porto mi plato tradicional favorito es francesinha. Así que decidí mostrarle a mi amiga lo que es una francesinha, por supuesto no es posible encontrar en Inglaterra algo exactamente igual que en Oporto, ya que el sabor del agua y algunos ingredientes es bastante difícil de encontrar, lo que proporciona un sabor bastante diferente de salsa Sin embargo, estos chicos hacen una de las mejores francesinhas en Londres, saben casi lo mismo que en Oporto, si quieres probar uno de verdad, definitivamente te recomendaría ir a Portugal, pero si apuntas a gastar 15, incluyendo una francesinha , cerveza y expresso, este lugar es una elección perfecta.

I am extremely happy with my experience today. There's no point in going to other more expensive and lower quality restaurants where you are not getting the genuine typical small café-like environment... and above everything, the most important thing is that here you will taste a true and well-garnished Francesinha (guess what? including a large plate of french fries and, of course, a fried egg!) composed of very good quality meat, for a complete bargain price (Porto-like). Besides this, you can hear a lot of local folks talking in portuguese and have an excellent nata for dessert (also, portuguese channels are playing on TV...). All this for 25gbp (2 people). Can you ask for better in London? surely not!

Nice place but nothing special on the whole. The drinks were good and with reasonable price tags. The service was also on very good level but the place was too crowded for my taste. I like more cozy and private tables which are not possible here.
