This food was beautiful! The service was amazing. They explained all dishes. Price is so good too! Highly recommend. Definitely going back.

We were keen to try this place; the previous (Polish cuisine) occupants failed after a few weeks. Sadly, our expectations proved over optimistic. The starter we chose was a tempura prawn dish - one small prawn and some salady stuff in a bread roll which tasted of nothing.. A waste of £7.00 Our main course, Pork Tonkutso Ramen, consisted of two pre-cooked slices of belly pork in a soup with noodles, mushrooms and other veggie bits. The half hard boiled egg on top was not heated properly. The whole dish appeared to be microwaved. The soup and noodles were delicious and the service was excellent but otherwise...a big disapointment at £11.00

Couldnt fault the experience here when we visited. Staff were all lovely, the decor and vibe was on point, and the food was very good, I was expecting average and was pleasantly surprised. Everything was well presented and portion sizes were spot on. Sounds like some other people had some bad experiences in the past but there was no trace of that at all when we ate here!

My daughter and I visited Bao to the broth on a Sunday evening. Absolutely amazing food, great service and I felt very reasonably priced. Look forward to visiting again!

I was excited to try out this restaurant, I love Asian food! When we arrived, they were accommodating and the waiter was lovely. The restaurant felt clean and comfortable, and the menu seemed interesting. Unfortunately, that is where it stopped. If you have broth in the name of your restaurant, I would have thought it would be top-notch. Sadly, I found the ramen very salty, bland, and lacking the depth of flavour & usual zing of ginger and fresh herbs that you would expect from a dish like this. Plus the chicken was overcooked. My partner's noodles, although they looked good, again lacked flavour. Such a shame!

I've been itching to try Bao to the Broth and it lived up to every expectation! The place has a great atmosphere and is decorated so well, feels very clean and tidy in there. The food was spectacular, we had the Miso Chicken Yakisoba, Pork Bao and Chicken Bao and also, some chicken & vegetable gyoza. The flavours were incredible and the food tasted so fresh. I also had a couple of cocktails which were a great twist on traditional recipes and worked really well! It was all so filling but we did manage to share a dessert between us, we had the chocolate cake and it was so light and fluffy. I'd definitely recommend it. We had a great time and the service was so great, all the staff were polite and checked in to ask if the food was ok and whether we needed anything else. It's so rare to find a little gem like Bao to the Broth in the area, I'd definitely recommend it and I will be visiting again soon!

The main meal was ok but not great …my cocktail came with 2 elements missing and nothing was said to me, i think they just hoped i didnt know what i should be drinking .The desert was the finale of lets hope they dont notice the badly defrosted wooly tofu cheesecake which was sat on a coolie ?? and not a miso salted caramel when i asked the guy said oh is it not on ..give me a minute ..when the ramekin was put in front of us it was a yellow watery mixture again thrown together to hopefully pass as miso caramel ?? Id had enough by now and asked why it wasnt on before ,his answer was i was busy …i asked for the bill and refused to eat the nasty desert .. note to the company its better to say if you haven't got all of the ingredient's, than to serve what you did today ..we would never go there again it felt very unprofessional ..like children playing at it .

I’ve read a lot of reviews and decided to visit with friends. My chicken bau bun was so dry it was inedible and the chicken on Teriyaki Chicken loaded fries was the same. Very disappointed

Delicious ramen! What a great restaurant - visited on a sunday and it had a good atmosphere. Staff very friendly and the food was delicious. Very well priced too and lots of choice on the menu.

All round great experience. Great atmosphere, delicious food and service was impeccable. The front of house staff were so great, especially the lady (with blue hair) went out of her way to welcome us, and her friendly demeanour service skills are outstanding. We shall 2000% be returning and bringing friends.

Great food. Went with our son who has just returned from Asia and he loved it! Ramen noodles were especially good. Will be back soon

Family group meal, menu looked very interesting despite no knowing all of the elements in many dishes. Had a 50/50 expectation bears on previous reviews; however the service was very good and friendly. We selected a variety of dishes, personally I chose two small plates ( @£6 each) the sweet potato and the cauliflower wings - both were really tasty and generous portions so was quite full after. Overall different, tasty and good value; will be back again !

If you have any respiritory problems avoid the place at all costs, I was wheezing within 10 mins of sitting down, Condensation litrerally running down the windows!(inside), a great place to breed bugs, the waitress seems to be English but tended to speak Council House, I personally couldnt understand her! the food was cold and the male waiter didnt care, wont be going back. EVER! to be honest I wish I got a KFC!

Very tasty, well cooked food, good service and a nice, informal restaurant. Excellent for meat eaters and veggies! Highly recommend.

Second time here and it’s great, staff are nice, the kitchen is open and the food is very very good. Choose to eat here and you won’t be disappointed.

Turned up but hadn’t booked on a very busy night, we waited a few minutes are were then shown to a table, service was excellent as we weren’t sure what to get we were taken through the options which was great. Despite it being busy the food arrived swiftly and didn’t disappoint, good value for money tasty fresh food. We had a selection off the menu and some small plates and all were great. Great independent restaurant and I definitely be returning

Fantastic addition to Herefords independent food eateries. Really cool decor and the food is fantastic! Hardest thing is choosing what to have. The staff are friendly and attentive when giving advice on the food on offer. Cocktails are of a high quality and very moorish. Nice to see this in its own space now so it’s not restricted by out of touch influences.

This is was our first time at the restaurant. Amazing service, staff very attentive. The food is very much worth the wait too (was very busy tonight). We will be returning!!

The food was nice but not worth the 90 minute wait. I like to give new local businesses a chance but was left extremely disappointed when the restaurant didn't even seem that busy

Absolutely love this restaurant! Great to have an independent restaurant serving superb quality food, and a really different atmosphere and menu to the rest of Hereford’s restaurants. Great variety of food from meat to vegan, really good selection of beers, delicious Prosecco. Service every time has been so friendly and prompt, and the staff are helpful and knowledgeable about the food and what to try if you’re new to it all ……. and their music is great!

Visiting Hereford, I went with friends that I was staying with. This restaurant was highly recommended and certainly was a winner. The vegetarian food I had and the service we received were excellent , I will definitely return. My special thanks to our waiter Harrison.

Amazing food all the dishes looked and tasted delicious, cocktails also lovely. Staff were super friendly making the atmosphere lovely and everything was well priced. Will be returning!

Yes yes yes, soooo delicious, amazing food! Haven’t had a meal this good in a long time. Squeezed in a pudding, which was insanely tasty. Reasonable prices too! Will be back for sure!
