Terrible price. Absolute rip off: £3.60 for handful of chips. No more Bankers! Get your refund or save your time and go round the corner to kebab shop. £3.50 for large lovely chips.

Came back from work late, not been here before and popped to get my dinner, spoke to a lovely lady, asked for and fishcake & chips. Apparently they don't sell fishcakes anymore! What chippy doesn't sell fishcakes, I'll tell you, Bankers don't. I can understand if there is a fishcake shortage, but there isn't, maybe they just want you to spend more on something else? I did spend, but at my local chippy and the fishcakes were lovely, thanks for asking. Would have been 1 star, but the lady behind the counter was nice.

Completely missed the chips as a portion and substitute burger for beef when we ordered chicken. You should check with customers this is ok and don’t just assume we would want meat option.

I have cod and chips around once a week the fish and chips are perfectly cooked. But last night I had 2 medium haddock and large chips deal , never again, they looked and tasted like they were 2 days old , my wife couldn't any of hers I eat half of mine the rest in the bin

Food was stone cold, 8:40 on a Saturday evening, small cod … cold and tasteless, pie was dry and cold, chips were cold, very disappointing. Won’t be going back

Very greasy dried up chips the fish was all batter and very little fish!! Very over rated

They forgot to put a portion of chips with the order, drove back to bankers and asked them for the extra portion of chips. Then they said that we never ordered the small chips with the chicken nuggets even though we heard them repeat the order before we left. Seems like the staff that work there are just un-phased and unbothered. They made me pay for the chips even though it was not our fault. Definitely go to a small run fish and chip shop (plenty of good ones in Brighton) as opposed to bankers as it has gone downhill and the few times I have ordered from the hangleton branch, the food was mediocre at best.

The first thing you notice is the courteous staff. You get the best service.Fish and chips are top notch fresh and delicious. You get good deals and offers during the afternoon time. Their menu is not limited to fish. You have shrimps and squid too.

The food was acc ok it was the fact they didn’t send my complete order then trade saying I only ordered what I got so I went down there for them to get argumentative with me refused to pay me my money back so I ended up losing 44.92 it’s an absolutel joke

Fish was cooked well. Chips were overdone, few burnt ones.

Food a bit cold due to the delivery driver not understanding instructions and before getting to the main front door to the flats decided instead of going to large front door and pressing entry bell he decided to wander around outside of building to look for my flat and had to phone me as to what to do !! When he eventually gained entry he completely ignored my instructions and wandered around inside of building !! I’ll say no more !!!

Usually we can't fault this place but tonight was a joke , to many staff that didn't have a clue , getting so many orders wrong , manners would help to . To many deliveroo drivers in and out jumping the queue. Husbands fish wasn't up to usual standard and was a horrible grey colour and not hot at all. Wasn't great tonight which is a shame

Food is always good. However, every single time I go there I have something missing from my order. It has happened so many times now I am starting to wonder if it is deliberate. It’s a shame as the food is good if you actually get what you pay for.

I absolutely love the salted and pepper squid so nice, even more tasty with vinegar and chips. Can't go wrong with this establishment

Sadly disappointing. Chips were placed directly over the battered fish. This then made the fish drenched in oily batter.

Perfect. The fish was white and the batter was crisp - so delicious. The chips were also crisp. I eat out of the box which means that the food is always hot and there is nothing to wash up. It's my weekly treat.

Absolutely awful meal, ask for salt and vinegar, not added, pie cheap and cheerful, chips were full of the bits you get from the bottom of the tray and the staff member not even a please or thank you, never again !!!

The order was double placed because my first online attempt was not accepted using my debit card .I then used Google pay to pay. Subsequently the first order was acknowledged. I accepted the app advice to phone the restaraunt to cancel the double order before the preparation of the second meal .They still sent me 2 identical meals half an hour apart . So that is my first and last use of just eat. £67.for 2 fish and chips I've learnt my lesson.

if the drivers actually read the delivery instructions on the order they woujld know where to come, but of course they dont!!
