It was ok, nothing special food was average. If I was out in oakengates again and needed food I would consider but wouldn't go out of my way to go there.

Best one in town! Authentic touch of Bangladeshi foods. From food to service, everything is top notch. Complete halal store, what I'd say. Really impressed with all the small touches they did. May Allah give barakah.

Ordered via Uber Eats, although they use their own delivery drivera.Food arrived on time, but it was bland. It wasn't hot. Therefore, it had to be microwaved. Wouldn't use them again.

First and last time ordering here food was so bland meant to be a curry. I might aswell got a curry from aldi has more taste and a fraction of the price

A really lovely place, parking is free in the evening, staff were really friendly and made me feel welcome.. food was really good and generous portions. Best naan bread I've ever had. They also cater for gluten free

Second time I've been here and OMG the food is sooo good, amazing portions and massive selection of food, good veggie options, garlic rice is gorgeous, and the dip starter is amazing. Can take own drinks in, deffo need to book as small and been full both times we went. Can't wait to go back again!

Horrendous, I honestly believe my curry was pre made and microwaved, the chicken was disgusting, misses had a balti and was bland and really spicy, was crap the first time but thought give them another chance, never ever again now.

My partner loves the food, myself ordered prawn jalfrezi, when received it was lamb tikka jalfrezi Unfortunately I don't like lamb, 2nd time it's happened so I won't be using again

The best place for a Boxing Day curry - we go every year without fail and have not been disappointed yet. Every year we take more and more people because we love it so much. Highly recommend

All I can say is wow! Found this hidden gem while on a visit to Telford and i absolutely can not wait to come back already. Amazing food, very reasonable priced aswell. Please make sure you ask for the honey garlic naan bread🤤 staff were all so lovely definitely recommend this place.

My partner and I were in Oakensgate for just one night on business and hadn’t booked. We were welcomed warmly and accommodated and the food was freshly cooked with great flavour and the chai tea was authentic and freshly prepared with spices. A jewel in the high street that we’ll go back to if we return to the area.

I am so impressed by this restaurant. It was my first time dining in - takeaways have always been of an excellent standard. The food was absolutely delicious - truly authentic use of spices and cooking methods. Didnt book but returned later as arranged with the man at the desk. Straight away it felt like we werent really wanted. Upon return we were sat by the door and ordered. My balti had no real flavour apart from the very strong taste of tomato puree. Naan bread was ok but not great. Ordered 2 mains, 2 poppadoms 1 portion of chips 1 naan and a bottle of water. Bill came to £35 which seemed a touch high. I wont be returning

I can't say it was a good meal. It was ok-ish. I ordered a Chicken Madras with a Garlic Naan. Upon arrival all looked great. But in reality the sauce had no real flavour and was overpowered by the curry powder. The naan bread was nice and fluffy and was certainly the best part of the meal. I arrived at 6.30pm on a Saturday night without a prior booking. The head of staff said he would find a seat for me but noted I would have to eat quickly because they had a full house expected for 8pm. As a result of this comment I felt rather rushed and at one point the waiter even tried to take my meal away before I had finished eating. Ironically, when I left 30 minutes later the restaurant was virtually empty. So why all fuss about making me hurry. This is not a restaurant I'm likely to return. Actually I felt glad to get out.

We are never disappointed with our visits to the Bangla Pride. The staff are very exceptional and always ready to recommend different dishes. Our ‘go to’ restaurant in Telford.

I have used the restaurant many times after multiple recommendations. I usually do delivery but on occasion have collected a takeaway. I am yet still to dine in. Having recently switched to a vegetarian diet, I can say that the vegetarian options are more varied than a lot of the other takeaways in the area.

Had a lovely evening with my partner tonight. Food is top quality have already booked to go in a few weeks time!.. so tasty full of flavour! Very helpful and Friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere.. 110% would recommend. If i could give more than 5 stars I would but it only goes upto 5!!

On the evening of the 26th November 2023, I, along with two friends, embarked on a culinary journey at Bangla Pride in Oakengates, Telford. This establishment is renowned for its authentic Bangladeshi and Indian cuisine, offering a spectrum of flavours through its expansive and unique menu. Our visit, which began around 9:30 pm, was marked by the restaurant’s commitment to exceptional service and its dedication to delivering quality dishes. Our meal commenced with an array of appetisers, including a tube of refreshing Mint Sauce, a crisp Onion Salad, a tub of Mango Chutney, a robust Red sauce, and four light Plain Poppadom’s. Each appetiser set the stage for the main courses with their vibrant flavours and textures. For the main course, we indulged in a fiery Hot King Prawn Tawa, expertly prepared Madras Hot and without coriander, alongside two servings of Lamb Tawa, seasoned to a perfect Medium Hot and also without coriander. Accompanying these was a flavourful Tarka Dall, a comforting serving of Boiled Rice, a plain Haan, and a fragrant Garlic Naan, each dish complementing the other and creating a harmonious blend of tastes. To accompany our meal, we chose a large Water and two Cream Coffees, known as Floater Coffee, which provided a soothing finish to our dining experience. Notably, the staff at Bangla Pride were the epitome of warmth and hospitality. Their attentive and welcoming nature ensured that our dining experience felt like a home away from home. Each dish was prepared exactly as requested, showcasing the kitchen’s attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. As we concluded our meal, we made sure to express our heartfelt gratitude to the waiters and kitchen staff. Their efforts in creating such a warm and inviting atmosphere made our evening not just a meal but an unforgettable experience, one that we will cherish for a long time. We had the following: Starters One container of Mint Sauce Onion Salad Mango Chutney Red Sauce Four Plain Papadums Main Course Hot King Prawn Tawa (Madras Hot, no coriander) Two Lamb Tawa dishes (Medium Hot, no coriander) Tarka Dal (no coriander) Boiled Rice Plain Naan Garlic Naan Beverages One Large Bottle of Water Two Cream Coffees (Floater Coffee style) The friends were prepared the way we ordered it. The staff were very warm and welcoming. They made sure we felt at home. Poem In Oakengates, Telford, there is a gem, Bangla Pride, a culinary stem. One evening, as the clock struck nine, Two friends and I, in mood to dine, Stepped into this abode of taste, Eager for flavours, in no haste. Appetisers first, a tempting start, Mint sauce, onion salad, a culinary art. Mango chutney, red sauce in a tub, Plain poppadom’s, our tastebuds to scrub. Then came the mains, a sight to behold, King prawn Tawa, hot and bold. Lamb Tawa twice, medium heat, Tarka Dall, a lentil treats. Boiled rice and plain Haan, simple yet fine, Garlic Naan, in its aroma, we would recline. Each dish is tailored, with no coriander in sight, Perfectly crafted, to our sheer delight. To quench our thirst, choices were made, Ample water, and coffee, cream-laden and laid. Floater Coffee, a duo, for a caffeine embrace, A gentle end to our dining grace. The staff, like stars, shone bright and warm, Welcoming, and caring, in every form. Ensuring comfort, like being at home, In their presence, our hearts freely roam. So, here is to Bangla Pride, a culinary treasure, In Telford, it stands, as a place of pleasure. With dishes so fine, and hospitality’s heart, A memory made, in every part. Very reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and joking around, food was gorgeous!

I'll break down my experience... Ordering - I used the app to order. It was an easy process and very straightforward. Pictures would have been nice, but didn't affect the overall experience too much at all. Delivery - it was a Saturday night so I made sure to order in good time. I'd say roughly 40mins to arrive...maybe an hour but I wasnt clock watching. The delivery driver was a nice guy, friendly and efficient. The food - amazing! Really nice, hot and exactly what was ordered. I went for my default order (wherever I go it's a CTM), the wife tried something new and I ended up envious as hers was amazing. Try the stir-fry chips! I didn't know what they were before...now they are all I can think about! Plenty of food...good portions and everything tasted fresh. It was my first time going there....and now it's top of my list to go again. Would definitely recommend.

This Indian is quite frankly, outstanding. The food is amazing. Cooked to perfection, tasty, well presented. And the staff are absolute diamonds. We had a meal for my 10yr old sons birthday last weekend and not only was the food delicious as always, they overheard it was his birthday and gave him a box of milk tray chocolates at the end of our meal. My son was overwhelmed by their kindness. Thank you so much. Food here is amazing and so are the people that run it. Takeaways just as good. Highly recommend.

We found the Bangla Pride by chance, we were waiting to go to the theatre. I am vegetarian and the food was delicious and with plenty of choice. We will be back 😋

Genuinely the best bangaldeshi Restaurant in and around Telford. That's a big claim, but after eating some 5 years in here I can say the food, service and quality are all five stars. Still the best Bangladesh restaurant in Telford I had to move for work but coming back with family to share a Christmas meal which is gorgeous. Hot fluffy chappattis and sizzling curry with a cold beer (bring your own) with a delicately flavoured mushroom rice. Can't fault it and Karim and the team... Allum you superstyla! With a spicy salad, bloody brilliant. Come eat and feel the comfort of the love that is put into this food.

First visit to Bangla Pride Telford, having just moved to the area, Lovely food, excellent, friendly service. Will return. They do sell soft drinks but if you want alcohol you need to take your own. For the special set menu on Sunday and Tuesday, you will need to pay via cash.

Fantastic Tasting Food, Great Portion Sizes, Friendly and Polite Staff. Usually takes a little longer than the estimated time when collecting, however the food certainly makes up for it. The chicken jalfrezi, mint sause and nann breads are perfect 👌 Highly recommended!!

I've tried curries from takeouts and restaurants up and down England. Bangla Pride is without a doubt THE BEST I've had. Spotless restaurant, very polite and professional staff, exceptional cuisine. Very affordable prices to enjoy a whole meal and the food is exquisite, hats off to the chief. The food is brought out on a hot plate so your meal is pipping hot the moment it hits your table. Large portions with fantastic presentation. We simply couldn't finish all the amazing dishes we had ordered so for free of charge they were packaged up for us to take away. A refreshing hot cloth and mints with a slice of orange provided at the end of your meal. What more can I pay. Simply sublime!!!

Brilliant food highly recommend for any curry lovers! Service was spot on, curry was fresh and hot when delivered. Nothing to much to ask for. They even gave extra salad which was fresh! WILL BE MY NEW GO TO! MUST TRY!

Unfortunately not a good experience. Starters were ok but both curries were tasteless, supposed to be 2 different curries but the only difference was the hotness very poor & our plates were swimming in water. Disappointed really because we’ve never had a bad one when we’ve sat in the restaurant.

Normally have fabulous food but the tandoori mixed grill tonight, the seasoning was very powdery and not good. Also only got 2 poppadoms between 4 people, very disappointed.

After a year of trying to find a good curry delivered, I've found it. Been through the lot in Telford, had grease, beard hairs, cold food, bland food, miserable staff, pubes,attitude, angry drivers that can't speak civilly OR read directions but Bangla Pride are fantastic. John in the pub next door recommended them for delivery and it was superb..lovely guy that delivered it too 👍Thanks very much, we will definitely be buying food from here again.

Top quality customer service and scrumptious Indian cuisine

Dined in and ordered takeaway many times from here and it’s always the same - great food, portion sizes are just right and great price. Delivery times are always spot on too and the staff there are lovely. Would not hesitate to recommend, best curry in the area in my opinion.

There's some strong competition in the area, but Bangla Pride is one of the best Indian restaurants for miles around.
