Very dissapointed today to find they couldn't offer me a GF sandwich or toastie of any kind. Gf quiche but expensive at almost £9 for small lunch, or soup but no roll with it. It takes nothing to freeze gf bread or rolls. Managed to get a small GF nut cake, not exactly lunch in my opinion

Ok but the prices are so high. It’s basically just an average coffee shop.the food is very expensive so we don’t eat here,. It is clean , but wish some of the staff were happier, they look like they can’t be bothered.

I was only in the town for a flying visit and called in for a snack. That day they had red pepper and sweet potato soup on. Being a cold day it was ideal. Home made and very tasty with a roll. Have been before for coffee. A nice selection of hot and cold food. Good service from the staff.

Middle aged and older ladies serving, clearing tables and looked like doing the cooking.Dithering and unflexible when I asked for 1 egg on toast and beans on one toast.Ended up getting 2 eggs and beans and charged £4.90 for the eggs and £1.95 on top for the beans!.No brown chunky bread for toast at 12.45,pretty poor show.I had the fish finger sandwich wish I hadnt, felt sick all afternoon. The bread was about an inch thick, sticking to the roof of my mouth. The fishfingers were grey inside, some cheap old pollack or something similar.deffo not Captain Birdseye.Took ages for our food to arrive.Expensive lunch of poor quality and poor service. It reall needs bringing into the 21st century

My daughter and I created a lifetime memory because of Charlie’s beautiful horses. We rode through an amazing variety of open expanses with wild Exmoor ponies in close view to the intimate valley setting for the novel of Lorna Doone. We saw the ruins of a medieval village and wondered about life so long ago. Charlie is in love with this wild place and will give you a delightful tour. She is fun and makes you feel special!

Clean table on arrival, excellent customer service, food was great, I had a roast dinner, husband had pie, mash and veg- that was quite a small portion but the roast was a great size. Can use blue light discount in there too, and it was advertised which is good.
