Bamboo in Leeds

I order from these guys, probably 4-5 times a week and today the steak was more fat and gristle than meat. “I won’t be ordering food from Bamboo again”!!!

Very poor food wthe chicken satay almost inedible (went in the bin). Crispy beef was the highlight bit still very poor. Szechuan bland. Soup was way too gloopy. Chicken ball batter not cooked all the way through. Awful.

Huge portions excellent quality

Very nice food, nice and tasty, containing lots of nice fresh vegetables. Excellent value for money.

The chow mein that was delivered already had noodles in it, when it mentioned in the menu that you have to pay extra for noodles. I did not order noodles, I don’t eat noodles, it doesn’t work with my diet and it was mixed with the chop Suey.

gravy tasted 0/10 it was not nice at all think they just give us bowls of soy sauce mixed with something to look like gravy it's was not nice and the chose where like bricks usually oder from here but not again it's really going down hill the chicken curry was just ok chicken balls were rock hard ...sorry I won't order again

Long wait, used to order here regularly haven't ordered for ages but food has gone downhill it's tasteless disappointed to say the least after waiting nearly an hour

the rice was tasteless, the ribs and chicken wings over cooked. only tried this as our usual Chinese was closed, never again

Food was piping hot and delicious- excellent service as always

First time ordering as our usual has closed down. Some elements were good but generally just ok. Some of the meat quality was poor and there was a sharp bone in the duck for the pancakes. Most dishes tasted similar to each other. Appetisers were good, particularly the wontons.

don't order the wantons. You could fry paper and have more meat in them. Other than that, very good

Little disappointed with my chicken and cashew nuts - not sure if the recipe has changed since I last ordered it and it wasn’t as tasty. Everything else was spot on 👌

It wasn’t the restaurant it was just eat and they lost my order, I spoke to the restaurant who remade the food and delivered it within 20 minutes. Food was perfect x

The free spring rolls and crackers are a nice touch and the special curry I’ve had previously was nice enough. Ordered a special satay this evening and there was a ridiculous amount of fresh chopped cucumber in it so imagine how watery and tasteless the special satay was. Just gave them another chance with a special Szechuan and salt and pepper chicken wings - avoid avoid avoid

Food was good but they forgot to deliver a £3.60 bottle of Coca-Cola

Tried something new today and it was really tasty - Chicken in satay sauce. Interesting substitute of cucumber for green peppers

Best chicken chow mein noodles I've ever had asked for without veg was lovely the salt and pepper chips were really nice an chunky definitely recommend.

the sweet and sour chicken just tasted like vinegar, didn't like it at all spring rolls were ABIT burnt 🔥 and the chicken fried rice was nice but was lacking chicken and veg, was mostly rice, very disappointed as I used to order from here alot the food used to be lovely.

I am very sorry for the my money, the food was old, mushroom soup with chicken was just water with mushrooms...I don't recommend it.....

I had to say bbq spare ribs ....ok dry ribs ...no bbq when does bbq sound like dry so i had to go over that 3 times and they still got it wrong and the food was next to tasteless i had to bang my own sauces waste of money

very rare my orders come to my door as im disabled and when i had a knock on my door to be given my bag of order i was very thankful and i can honestly say i always check reviews before order and im glad i order because the food was bang on and wasn't too expensive and the prices are worth the portions look forward to my chow mein again sometime soon also please thanks the driver once more many thanks 😊

The food was late by 30mins but well worth the wait still very hot when it arrived good portion sizes plenty of chicken in the sweet n sour and the sauce isn't too tangy its a good balance of flavours would deffo recommend in the east leeds area we will be ordering again 😋

Looked forward to trying the food here as the rating is so high, but was disappointed that all the dishes lacked seasoning and the money spent on bland food, we left most of it uneaten. I'm sure this is a great place but it was a bad day, we won't be trying it again unfortunately

First time trying this restaurant. Food was awful. It was all cold and had no seasoning. Couldn’t eat it as it was so cold and bland. Had a couple of bites and gave up. Ordered a beef satay and it had a lot of cucumber in there which is something I have never experienced when ordering this dish again. The cucumber tasted soggy and added to the unpleasant taste. Would not order from here again.

Delivery was fast however this is where it's gone down hill ,where these 5 star reviews come from are beyond me , this has to be the worst Chinese IV ever had, spare ribs ain't ribs there tiny bits like popcorn chicken , the chicken wings are dry and no taste , the spring rolls are thin like match sticks , the wontons had nothing in them , thing and crispy and dry , beef curry had no taste and cold , beef rubbery and slimy texture. Waste of £40 Will not return tried this place as normal place was closed and what a mistake IV made 😔

The chips were crispy, as requested, thanks. The chiken dish had a lot of veg, nice. However you sent the wrong order, we ordered duck in plum sauce, you sent us pork with pineapple. You gave us extra prawn crackers and complemnetary spring rolls, thanks

Not very nice. Ordered as soon as it opened, expected fresh food instead it seemed very stale / old. Over cooked rice (sticky) not sure if they no how to cook rice as it’s happened a couple of times now. Won’t be ordering again from them.

Hi I'm very unhappy with my order the beef curry didn't taste like beef the best thing on my plate was the boiled rice my sister didn't like it I wasted my money because both Currys was put in the bin I'm not happy I would like my money reimburse to my bank very disappointed .

Gorgeous meal last night - all fresh and tasty - just delivered a bit too early for us as we were still bathing the kids!

The food took two hours to arrive. A few freebies were given by way of apology which was appreciated, however the food itself was poor.

After reading the good reviews I ordered some egg fried rice, soft fried noodles, pepper chicken curry and some salt n pepper wings. I wish I hadn't, everything was really bland, made me feel a little dodgy too. I don't think I'll give it another try.

The whole order is bland doesn’t taste of anything really.. satay sauce doesn’t taste like it , bland salt and pepper chicken , the prawn crackers like they had been left out

Food took over 2 hours to arrive. One of the main dishes was wrong and food was cold. AVOID!

Starters were somehow dry and grisly and oily at the same time. The ribs had never seen salt or peper and there was minimal veg. Both me and my house mate took all the chicken out of our mains as the quality was atrocious and neither one of us were comftorble eatng it, the egg fried rice was bland and the only cans they had were coke at £1.50. Do yourself a favour and just burn your money because this stomach ache isn't woth 30 quid.

Food was absolutely amazing. We got the set meal for two for £25 and felt like it was great value for money. Probably one of the best takeaways we’ve ever had.

The food really was awful. My ribs it tasted like they were burnt and hardly had any meat on them at all. Also, the chow mein was pretty tasteless and dry. A complete waste of money and will not be returning here again.

Used to love ordering from here. Tonight was a mess! The woman on the phone was so lovely however the Wrong food was sent. Called and asked for a replacement with the correct item, they advised it would be 20 minutes. Asked for my food to be redone as it would all be cold. They said they'd do that if I gave back the first lot of food (concerning about reselling food but sure). Half hour later the driver comes back, we swap orders and he then begins to accuse me of eating it really rudely.. why would I eat it when I'm sat waiting for the food I wanted and asked for and i gave it back??? E was so rude, rolled his eyes at me and stormed off. When finally able to eat, it wasn't even as good as the past orders. Will never order from here again, far too much hassle for a disappointing meal.
