A Lot of Food Options. 24hr McDonald's.

Visit here at least 4 times a week for different meals on alternate shifts usually good but recently the outside bins have been removed, nowhere to put my rubbish now. As I often see tables left strewn with rubbish i don't give it long before the place is a tip and encouraging yet more vermin to join the ones already in the bush opposite the lorry parking...

This is for the 24hr macdonalds that at midnight!! Tiredness can kill, take a break. Just don't do it here as they don't know the meaning of 24 hours

Girls do a great job with cleaning where you eat and the toilets. 5 stars goes to them

Stopped for a Greggs sausage roll but it was shut (2030) so had a Mcdonald instead. I was a bit gutted because I fancied a sausage roll!!🙂

Used the ionity chargers Very fast charge, but you pay for it

This is a lovely little services , just off the A1.

Handy place for food and decent showers for drivers.

Plenty of choice for food, highly recommend the Managers Deal at Deep Blue for a nice cheap fish & chips. Toliets aren't half bad, typical service station toliets where they have high footfall.

A good clean service station on the A1M. All the usual fast food chains including GDG, which are banging by the way.

A lot of nice little food & drink places together. Something for everyone. As at most services, try to avoid the petrol station as their prices are a rip-off.

Polish man who works there is verbally aggressive to fellow employees. Seen it too many times now. Not nice

Clean it's a motorway service station not A BIG SHOPPING CENTRE. I am generally in and out in five minutes if passing either to use the facilities or get something to eat best place to get fish & chips in the area actually cheaper than my local chip shop in fact better than the McDonald's or KFC on the site call in get food & leave

My morning breakfast hub while driving to London. McD , Greg’s and Starbucks keep me happy during the early hours travel.

There are different restaurants, coffee shops, rest stops and even some hotels nearby.

What helmet got rid of all the outside bins, if it’s truly about separating recycling to general waste why don’t you just have them split type bins outside. It’s not rocket science.

Baldock services is an excellent place to call for any meals at any time of the day with its very wide range of foods and drinks. The only improvement would be to have all the outlets open 24 hours a day. I accept that hot food and drinks are available from 1 outlet 24 hours a day. Secondly I am delighted to see that charity collections are allowed at the entrance so that I can give easily to any one of the charities that I wish to support.

As services go Baldock is one of the best on the A1. Always Clean both in the food area and importantly inside the toilets. On this trip I had a disabled passenger with me and we found the experience of using the service facilities far easier than at other services we have visited.

It was late, nearly everything was closed, quiet, a quick Maccas stop, it would have everything you need during opening hours.

Very disappointed 23.20 tonight and nothing open (only the toilets) very disappointed as we presumed food would be available on our journey home. Maybe put better information on website about food times

Why have you taken all the outside bins away now there litter all over the place. Thanks for the reply but the bins were outside in the last 2 months definitely not 2 years regardless. You need to do something about the litter because if it doesn't make it to a bin then it's definitely not being recycled 🙄.

Great Place to take a break and enjoy food & drinks but my favorite KFC & Starbucks. Always take a break on my drive to London & back. The only reason I didn’t give score 5 …. KFC opens at 11am hence missed so many time breakfast.

Any time we stopped at baldock service,very busy and clean. Service Team Working very hard,and food Court is very clean.

Reasonable parking clean toilets good selection of outlets the McDonald's is 24 hour. Fuel is expensive there's cheaper fuel less than a mile after the junction on the A1, as this is at the end of the first section of the A1M north of the M25

Never parked here overnight as there are a limited number of HGV spaced, but overall Baldock is better than South Mimms. Look at my other reviews to see where I've been!

Good place to stop and have a bite to eat

Massive rat issue at the services lately. Went in January and saw a rat in Starbucks garden. Then went again last night and saw multiple rats in the car park

A great clean place to stop and eat, I understand it's a motorway service, it's just a shame that no buses pass that way from A1 for staff that work there. They can only get to work by car.

Good variety of food clean and tidy

Have been before, but today it was decidedly chilly in the eating area. Wasn't that cold out either Service at chosen retailer was very quick. Tables were being cleared regularly.

Friendly and helpful cleaning staff...can always grab something to eat..a welcome break from a long drive

After visiting South Mimms Services, I can now say South Mimms seems better. The food here is basic. Some staff members have an attitude. Plenty of parking. Free parking. Kids Play Area. Hand full of Food choices. Big large TV screen to watch while you eat, chill. Disabled access yes.

I travel up and down the country's motorways and visit many service stations. Baldock Services is by far the cleanest and tidiest of all the service station I have visited. The staff keeping the men's toilets clean do a brilliant job. They are always super clean. Congratulations and thank you.

Called into KFC got a meal deal £9.99 excellent food for a a service station quick feed and on my way home after 12 days in hospital all good will go again.

The worst car park network in England For the driver, nothing, zero, rock bottom

Just about to start using the tyre pressure air pump. But a “helpfull” attendant arrived and pointed out the adjacent pump. -brand new. Did not work after selecting pressures, refusing to accept a choice of 2 touch debit cards. Back to pump 1, not accepting a choice of 3 cards. Waste of time. I do hope that they have sorted the pumps. Also, most othe pumps are £1 touch debit cards use, these wanted £1.50! Small money I know, only if they worked.

Always a favourite stop on the A1

I sometimes stop here while passing by. This is a good place to stay. The management here is very good. The staff is very cooperative. If you don't understand something, they explain it very well. It is very clean. The parking space is very good. It is very quiet, neat and clean.

Really enjoyed my stop here, great food choice. Staff are on point and it was spotless.

A really nice place to stop. Plenty of choice for food, El mexicana in particular is great. Staff in food court were friendly, busy on visit but they had under control.

These places are never really clean, this one was no exception. Bins over flowing, mucky seats in the food court. Some vague choice of food, not great but not the worst. Ok if you like quick, beige and expensive. Reasonable washroom facilities.

I found member’s of staff to be polite and friendly.The facility’s were clean but I have found some visitor’s are less than careful when attending to their personal hygiene and simple common respect for other traveler’s who use the facility.The partner’s at the Starbucks were efficient and engaging in their dealing with my order and it’s preparation.

This is fantastic! Clean bathrooms, prayer room, halal food. Perfect!

A great services. ample parking, a what looks fairly new playpark. Inside there is plenty of choice for food, lots of seating which altho busy was well maintained. Staff friendly and helpful. Will definately stop here again.

Pretty standard Extra services, good choice of food with major and minor players represented. M&S and WH Smith stores as well but pricey fuel in comparison to other garages locally. Two sets of EV charging points - 10 in total - most of which appear to work most of the time. All in all pretty good.

Stopped during a move from North to the South. Toilets were immaculate. The food from McDonald's was exceptional.

Food variety is very good and tastes okay but expensive.

Little gem situated just of the A1. Plenty of places to eat. Clean toilets friendly staff throughout. Brilliant childrens park as well. Perfect pit stop for everyone.. and if your lucky you could run in to someone famous..

Mainly chain outlets like KFC, McD, etc, but there is an M&S if you want more variety and something more healthy. Greggs didn't have anything hot. Central seating with surrounding outlets. Not quite as busy as Peterborough services but obviously out of the same mould.

One of the McDonald's based Xtra services. With KFC, fish and chips, noodles, Greggs, German Doner Kebabs etc. large central seating area.

Usual motorway stop off. Plenty of Eateries & toilets. All good.

Love it there, so much to choose from.
