Not long started using this CHIPPIE .. first time ok …second time not to sure thought miserable portion third time definitely miserable portion and the oil was badly needing changed so no we will not be us this ( chip) shop again we will drive a mile or two to our regular shop no wonder there is never a queue to get served

Ordered fish and chips plus 2 kids meals.told would arrive within 50 mins took 85 mins. When it came it was cold and tasted as if it had been reheated, it was disgusting, had to put it in the bin. Phoned them and they weren't that sympathetic just kept saying sorry, it sounded like a young girl, nobody came on to try and sort it. I've had a lot of fish and chips out of here over the years usually very good but had noticed a decline in quality but this was by far the worst and on top of that poor reaction and service. Won't be back or order again.

Not nice at all. Placed a order online for collection (as I live not far from it) went to collect AND..............was told food wasn't available. That's it. No apology.......No money.........No refund either

Been coming here for years as it’s the best chippy in town I normally have fish and it’s cooked fresh while your there Always disappointed if there’s no fritters later in the day☹️ Prices are reasonable Most importantly food is great

Left when I saw the server using her bare hands to lift the fish onto the trays then licking her fingers. Revolting

I don't normally do this but waiting on a delivery hour and a half and little one can't stay up any longer. Live in the area never use them again no excuse for that.

A highly recommended chip shop so always very busy but well worth the wait to get excellent food freshly cooked.

go in there regular good selection of food price fine well worth the money only thing try to get parked

This is a take away and I ordered a home delivery. Took over two hours to arrive and when it did it was cold. After an hour the service update stated that our ordered had been delivered and when we phoned them They said it was on its way. Took over an other hour to arrive.

We eat take away fish and chips from here often . Usually cooked fresh on order. Nice clean establishment .

been once got soup and a milkshake was rubbish and overpriced compared to others so....never again. too busy needs more space just not enjoyable at all.

excellent any time of day. staff always willing to help and service with a smile. the food is always freshly made, busy wee place with lots of regulars which is always a good sign.

This carry out Fish and chip shop has been here for decades and the original owners had customers coming from far and near, their food was so good. Unfortunately you can go in sometimes and the food is almost inedible, whilst at other times the fish is so fresh you think it could have been swimming the day before. It really is a shame because when its good its utterly fabulous, but when its bad, its simply awful
