Baksh`s Indian Kitchen in Pendle

Does anyone know when it will reopen? I miss it.

Food is always incredibly delicious, hot and plentiful. The delivery driver is also the sweetest! Can highly recommend the Shoaley (hands down best curry dish I've ever had!), Mixed Tikka Biryani, Chicken Tikka Massala, Madras and Chicken Chaat.

Food not as good as normal. Got two tiny somosas that were greasy. The bombay potatoes were tasteless. The chapati was soggy. The garlic naan was undercooked. Very little meat in the curry and it was watery. Was a big disappointment. Especially when its not cheap.

Hands down, the Chicken Tikka Desi Shashlik is my absolute favorite! The tender chicken, perfectly marinated and grilled to perfection, paired with the vibrant vegetables, creates a symphony of flavors in every bite. It's a dish I crave time and time again. If you're looking for a delicious and satisfying meal, this dish is a must try!

Ordered food for iftar and it was truly worth the wait. The chicken tikka biryani was perfect the chicken was flavoursome and the rice was cooked to perfection. The lamb chops were tender and came right off they weren’t too chewy and the were bursting with flavour would definitely come again if I’m in Burnley again because compared to London this one beats it all

Drove a few miles for this takeaway best around

Well had a curry night and a kebab night from here and both were the best in the area by a country mile. Needless to say I won't be ordering from anywhere else from now on. Reasonable price too AAA+++

Collected a takeaway we ordered online. We had two main courses and rice with side order of aloo saag. Also, got a tandoori mixed grill. This is the first time we have used this takeaway but we'll certainly be going back, the staff are very friendly. The food was really tasty with plenty of meat in. The rice was fragrant and fluffy. The premises appeared really clean and we saw that they'd achieved a 5 on the environmental check for cleanliness.

Excellent food, I have something different every order. Baksh is way superior to most takeaways; generous portions , subtle flavours, love the garlic fried rice.

Our go to for Indian. Always fresh, friendly and efficient. We've even tried their kebabs / Indian sandwiches which are amazing if you want something less fussy. We wouldn't go anywhere else !

Visited again this week, food absolutely delicious, cooked in front of you.i had Chicken tikka Jalfreizi,mushroom pilau rice and 2 chapatis. It's nice we have a quality food establishment around here. Quality 👍

When I arrived at Bakshi's I was immediately greeted with 'Hello Mike' by the head chef who I know from Accrington and is the son of Maz, the head chef at the Akash. The take away container was full to the top with fresh ingredients and, like the Akash, there were large portions of chicken tikka and chunky onions There are strong links between the two takeaways there and not surprisingly the food was very similar. There was, however, a subtle difference in taste which is not a criticism as the food at Baksh's equally good. I have no hesitation in recommending Baksh's Indian Kitchen and hope to return soon Mike

Ordered from here for a birthday celebration, food was ready at exactly the time it said , was hot and everything was perfect, love the cricket ball onion bhajis, highly recommend 10/10

Best Indian Takeaway around, better than some restuarants I have been to. Highly recommended!

We have had lots of excellent take-aways (and deliveries). The food tastes as good as eating it in a restaurant and really reasonably priced. When you drop in for collection, you get a warm welcome and an open view of the kitchen. Highly recommended.

Been many, many times and never disappointed- superb curries, and a few things a little different if you’re feeling adventurous 🍛 One mark down as they forgot my poppadoms on a recent visit, rectified with a phone call, and a quick drive back though so no hard feelings.

Fantastic food. Won’t ever go anywhere else!

Now then... this place really is something else. Out of this world. Desi biryani with curry sauce was so flavoursome and authentic.. the kebabs were sublime.. the chilli sauce soaked into the tandoori naan bread was divine. Seriously, the best I have tasted in a long time, possibly the best I have ever tasted. The delivery time was in the given frame and the delivery driver really nice and friendly too. We were so hungry and it all smelled and tasted so amazing that I clean forgot to take any pics. I will do next time though! I don't think i could settle for anywhere else for curries and kebabs now! Another great curry tonight from Baksh and the lads. I always try a different curry or biryani and each and every time it never fails to impress. Only a small order tonight of one curry, rice and naan bread. Each spoonful of curry just kept getting better! The naan was huge and cooked perfectly. My most previous order (before today) was for a family gathering - ordered over £100 worth of food and everybody loved everything that was served. Couldn't fault anything at all! My favourite starter - chicken pakora (to die for!) Came across this takeaway whilst on a work related trip. Being vegetarian, I always look for an eatery that serves paneer dishes. I stumbled upon Baksh's on TripAdvisor and certainly wasn't disappointed. The staff were pleasant, the shop was spotless with an open kitchen, and the food was superb. They should open a restaurant. I'd use the same hotel again just to be close to Baksh's.

If you’re thinking about whether to come here or not, stop thinking and just order. I’ve tried this place a few times and it has never disappointed. The chicken tikka chips are unique and different to the rest in the area. An absolute must try. A couple of the dishes I’ve tried are the chicken tikka biryani and the lamb karahi, they are truly fantastic. One thing that I like about this place is that you can see the chef cook your food fresh. You can tell that he is well experienced and very good at what he does. Fantastic place and keep up the good work!

Second time we’ve ordered from Baksh and I can honestly say it’s the best food I’ve had in a long time. I ordered the chicken pakoras to start and a mixed kebab. The portion sizes are very generous and are fairly priced. For my main course I had chicken tikka khersi, with pea rice and a garlic naan. This was delicious and is certainly as good as being served in a top restaurant. All credit to the chef and staff for providing such a fantastic take out service. Although we live outside the delivery radius, we will continue to drive here and collect our order as it’s well worth it. Thank you we will definitely be returning.

We’ve had food from here before and it was lovely, the pakoras are amazing… Last nights was a disappointment, there was 4 pieces of chicken in the curry ordered for my daughter, and the tikka combo had no king prawns as stated. I don’t mind paying a bit extra but not if you don’t even get what you’re paying for

The chicken pakoras are the best you'll get from anywhere, the curries are ok but they all taste sweet and sour like a Samber (i've tried around four different ones now and they all taste the same), this could be due to the base gravy used being overly on the sweet and sour side but i'm not too sure.

It doesn’t matter when I call, the service is always consistently professional. Today I visited the kitchen for the first time (I usually call for delivery) and when I arrived to collect my food I felt like I’d entered the kitchen of a fast paced high end restaurant kitchen somewhere in central London. Absolutely beautiful to watch, everything working in sync to deliver mouthwatering dishes! I knew there was something special behind every dish we’ve ordered to our home. Now I’ve seen it in action! I ordered food via the website for a birthday celebration. It was a large order of several different starters and mains so all our family could try lots of different dishes. The order was ready at the time requested and I can honestly say every dish tasted fabulous. It was beautifully cooked

Great food ,sound people great prices

Sorry the food looked great unfortunately they forgot the spice and seasoning. Probably more like in a vegetable curry but when it's only cheap veg you'd think the attention to detail would be spot on. Garlic naan hadn't been within a mile of a garlic clove. I will try it again because I live so local and want to support business. The cleanliness, freshness etc was spot on. Give me some spice please.

1st time ordering today (16th Oct 2021). Looked over the reviews and decided to try instead of my usual takeaway. Wow! Best decision I've made when it comes to take out, SO GOOD! The Chicken was fresh and tender and the Masala sauce was beautiful, not greasy either. They were literally the best curries either of us have had from a takeaway anywhere. Highly recommend. I'm now a new loyal customer for sure.

Insane! AMAZING. Thee best curry I have ever had. My usual place has lost a customer. I will now not go anywhere else. The nan bread was so fresh fluffy soft. Smelt amazing. All freshly made. All so much flavour. The chicken tikka in my saag curry was so juicy and soft to perfection. Arrived early arrived like just out the pan despite not being close to our house. Delivery staff soo friendly and polite. Don’t like trying new places and being let down but trying this place today has blown my mind. Deserve to win the best curry award. The food was very bland and no taste. I went here on the star bases it was the biggest mistake I made. I was trying to find a good Indian as the one I like is to far. I wouldent recommend and I would easily not recommend at all.

Great service and delicious food

Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. The place looks fantastic from the outside. The food though, well that’s something else. Horrible tough meat. Overly sweetened sauces. No spice to the curry’s. Tried this place 3 times now and it has gotten worse every time. The Rescue dog says no!!
