Bonito espacio. Vine con mi esposa e hijo y tuvimos unos huevos escalfados preciosos en masa madre, zumos de naranja y café. Todo estaba delicioso, aparte del hecho de que solo tenemos una rebanada de tostada y no pudimos terminar la comida correctamente. Pagamos 54 libras así que muy caro y pensamos que por ese precio conseguir solo una tostada era totalmente inaceptable. Vergüenza, un ritmo encantador que se deprime cortando curvas como esa. El servicio también podría ser más proactivo y atractivo.

En nuestro camino por Whiteladies Road para almorzar aquí en Clifton, estábamos corriendo un poco antes de tiempo. Así que, tuvimos unos minutos para permitirnos entrar y recoger tres de los maravillosos Rollos de Salchicha de Cerdo e Hinojo que se venden aquí. Estos fueron para nuestra cena para mi Hijo (visitando para una estancia de fin de semana) y nosotros mismos. Incluso a 4 libras. 75 por pop estos aperitivos generosamente - tamaño valen cada centavo. Esta panadería - cafetería estaba bastante ocupado; ya que ahora era temprano a la hora del almuerzo, pero sorprendentemente no había cola en el servidor. Pedí inmediatamente los rollos de salchicha con la boca ya aguantando en anticipación del disfrute que vendría más tarde en el día. Estos rollos de salchichas son simplemente geniales, especialmente cuando se comen calientes. Recalentarlos (a 165 °C) durante 12 minutos en una freidora al aire fue un proceso simple. Se aseguró de que nadie se sintiera mal, después de comer lo que prometió ser un bocadillo excelente. Para disfrutar realmente de los sabores, definitivamente sugeriría que no se añadan salsas y encurtidos; porque tales aditivos restarán valor a lo que ya es un manjar con un sabor realmente hermoso.

Esta excelente cafetería - panadería produce algunos platos realmente buenos; hemos visitado aquí en un par de ocasiones a principios de este año y comido pasteles recién horneados y pasteles producidos aquí. La visita de hoy fue un viernes temprano a la hora del almuerzo y la panadería estaba muy ocupada. Teníamos una reserva de almuerzo en un restaurante más arriba Whiteladies Road, así que no estábamos buscando para cenar aquí. Estábamos buscando suministros de masa madre para tostar, ya que nos encantan las buenas tostadas para el almuerzo en casa. Pensamos que un par de copas también sería una buena idea. La mayoría de las mesas estaban tomadas en la planta baja y había una pequeña cola en el servidor. Tomamos una barra de masa madre blanca de la estantería cerca de la entrada. Luego vimos una mesa pequeña conveniente y sin tomar para dos, así que decidimos que las bebidas ‘estaban encendidas’. Al unirme a la cola, pronto llegué a la agradable sirvienta y pedí un café americano con leche caliente para mi pareja (su favorita mientras estaba fuera y alrededor). También pedí una cerveza de jengibre de hierba limón, mi bebida fría favorita en este restaurante. Como estábamos almorzando en otro lugar, no pedí comida para comer, pero decidí comprar un par de los fabulosos Rollos de Cerdo y Salchicha de Hinojo; para nuestra cena de aperitivo. Toda la factura llegó a 20 libras. 50 , por lo que este no es un restaurante barato de frecuentar, pero sí que teníamos buena masa madre y unos estupendos rollitos de embutido para disfrutar más tarde. Las bebidas fueron servidas en nuestra mesa. El café era realmente excelente, encantadores sabores de caramelo quemado, el era "bueno y caliente". Mi cerveza de jengibre fue maravillosamente refrescante, rara vez he probado algo tan bueno en un refresco... pero ¿quién lo hace? Necesito saberlo, así que preguntaré la próxima vez. Parecía que el comedor del primer piso ya estaba abierto, y acordamos que tomaríamos una bebida y / o aperitivo la próxima vez que pasemos - aquí. Nuestra visita de hoy fue corta y dulce, pero realmente disfrutamos. Comimos los rollos de salchicha esa noche, estaban fabulosos (recalentados a 63 °C). También la masa madre hace tostadas maravillosas.

Era un día cálido y soleado, así que subimos - en el metro M3 - al servicio de autobús en el centro de Bristol, tuvimos un paseo más corto de lo normal, ya que era muy cálido y luego nos dirigimos a Clifton para visitar esta cafetería de panadería. Esta segunda visita aquí era, a diferencia de la primera, parte de nuestro plan; queríamos probar más de la tarifa que se ofrece, en particular los Rollos de Salchichas. Las bebidas frías eran una prioridad ya que habíamos vaciado nuestras botellas de agua fría durante nuestro paseo. Pedimos un té helado de melocotón y una cerveza de jengibre de hierba limón (esta última es para mí) más un rollo de salchicha cada uno. Las bebidas eran muy refrescantes y tenían un gran sabor, nos revitalizaron y prepararon el escenario para los rollos de embutido. Los rollos de embutido eran fabulosos; hermosamente rosa - relleno de carne de cerdo cocida, con un buen sabor fuerte de hinojo (un favorito para los dos). Tengo que admitir ahora que tuve una segunda; es posible que eso haya sido un poco cerdito, pero no me condenen a menos que hayan probado una! Decidimos que debíamos tener un pastel cada uno de mis socios optando por el ‘Muffin de chocolate con leche y plátano’ y yo tuve una pequeña porción de ‘Apple & Blackcurrant Crumble Jack’. Ambos fueron muy buenos y realmente disfrutado. Es raro que tengamos un almuerzo tan barato, especialmente cuando estamos en Bristol, pero fue genial como un cambio. También fue una experiencia agradable, ya que la cafetería es aireado y agradablemente fresco en este día muy cálido (31 °C). El servicio fue excelente y agradable.

Un paseo por Bristol en un día muy soleado y cálido nos llevó por una zona favorita: la ciudad - centro del puerto. Esto fue seguido por una subida cuesta arriba a la zona de Clifton / Cotham. Hay muchos restaurantes aquí en esta vibrante zona, principalmente residencial. Mientras caminábamos hacia Blackboy Hill, encontramos que estábamos unos 45 minutos antes de nuestra reserva en un restaurante que estaba a solo 10 minutos a pie. Así que decidimos llamar aquí para sentarnos un rato y tomar unas bebidas refrescantes. Mi Pareja se decidió por un cordial de flor de saúco y pepino, y elegí un café americano con leche caliente. Fui al servidor y hice cola para hacer nuestro pedido del camarero muy servicial. Mientras esperaba, no pude evitar darme cuenta de la variedad de bocadillos y comida para los dedos que se ofrecían. Había pasteles, pasteles, rollos, sándwiches y tostadas, pero noté particularmente los muy atractivos Rollos de Cerdo y Salchichas de Hinojo. Se veían absolutamente deliciosos y me encanta el sabor del hinojo; tanto que solo tuve que probar uno. Solicité que el rollo de salchicha se cortara en 4 piezas para poder ofrecerle a mi socio la oportunidad de probarlo también. Esto no fue un problema y el rollo de salchichas y nuestras bebidas pronto se llevaron a nuestra mesa. El rollo de embutido era maravilloso, cocinado para que la masa en escamas estuviera adecuadamente en escamas y la carne de embutido fuera rosa y húmeda, con el delicioso sabor del hinojo. Mi pareja no pudo resistir la tentación a pesar del inminente almuerzo al que estábamos en camino en un restaurante cercano. Mi café estaba demasiado caliente para beber inmediatamente, lo bebí y al principio estaba un poco decepcionado con el sabor. Dejé enfriar un poco y luego me recompensó con un buen sabor a caramelo quemado. Mi pareja realmente disfrutó de su cordial que sin duda sabía a flor de saúco fuerte con una espiga de pepino distinta. El resto fue bienvenido ya que nos sentamos un rato, me di cuenta de los panes de masa madre recién horneados eran muy populares. Había una mezcla ecléctica de clientes y fue agradable sentarse un rato y disfrutar del ambiente acogedor. Volveremos.

Good quality but ridiculously expensive. We bought 3 cakes for £7.50. They were really good. Went back a couple of days later for one pain au Chocolat and was charged £3.50. I was so surprised I just paid. This was ridiculously expensive.

We visited on Sunday 3rd December for brunch and we were excited as the atmosphere and menu were both great. Unfortunately that was were the good experience ended. The ham hock potato stack was very disappointing when it arrived and it was tasteless and dry. The mushrooms on sourdough dish was tasty but the bread was so hard it was inedible and my side of bacon for £2 was 2 tiny fatty hard bits of bacon 🥲. We had cakes after and again they were dry and very underwhelming. The service was terrible with us having to clear our own plates and the ordering system was cumbersome and lengthy. Would I go back or recommend? Simple answer - No.

This is my 1st review on Trip Advisor. It was such bad service that I was prompted to make the account and write here. I had a rude lady on the till, and when she served food, she was very unenthusiastic and impolite in her manners. no thank you, you're welcome, no smile. very rude and abrupt in her responses. Good food but such a shame how my partner and I were treated.

Working local, I have been here before for coffee and cakes and enjoyed it every time apart from customer service this morning. I was queuing inside to buy a coffee, waiting to be served for 5 minutes, the majority of time I was the only person waiting and the small girl with dark hair proceeded to serve someone else and looked at me directly in my eyes and then back to customer they were serving. Without saying a word. With attitudes like this from your staff I won’t come back here again.

I went here specifically for th bacon roll and coffee morning deal as it was advertised on a blackboard outside, when I went to order I was told they had run out of bread, they're a bakery FFS!

Stopped for a quick breakfast this morning - unreal cinnamon roll and a really tasty matcha latte. Tiniest bit on the pricey side but from what I can understand the bakes are fresh so not a problem. Could do with opening the upstairs seating as it was a bit busy but we *just* managed to get seated. Friendly service too!

We grabbed a quick coffee that day passing by Bakesmiths. Their takeaway counter was on the street separately which was super convenience coz you do not have to go into the store! The sourdoughs looked extremely yum too~ On that week, they were featuring Guest Roast of Clifton Coffee Roasters. We ordered flat white and latte. The kenya blend was extremely rich in aroma with smooth mouthful! Temperature was right at the time on windy weather~
