There were 11 of us at the birthday gathering. The service was very good as was all the home made food. We were given a menu some time before Wed 26th May, so we had all chosen what we wanted to eat. Some of us including myself had a lovely salmon and broccoli quiche which was the best I had ever had-definitely no soggy bottoms here!! Chili, omelettes and toasted sandwiches were also chosen.

Tucked away in a housing estate next to small row of shops, I managed expectations... thinking I would just try it in the spirit of supporting local business... but this was really lovely. Food delicious and staff very friendly and accommodating. Been since and always seems busy and deservedly so. Great little local.

Bakes and Blossoms had been very busy but when we arrived at 13.00, 2 men were just leaving and we were on our own. Mum had her usual toasted brie and cranberry, sandwich and I had the same, with salad and coleslaw. We couldn't manage it all so took a bit of both our sandwiches home in a bag! We both had an ordinary coffee, nothing fancy! Just what we wanted. I was here in June and was pleased to find there were more than 1 cushion for the chairs! All in all very good value again today and friendly staff.

I recently digressed to a Veggie Chilli which was excellent (though not listed on the menu). This place is a good find in terms of luncheons++; excellent service and a good atmosphere. I wouldn`t expect such quality in its particular location.

We went in today for lunch, as we have been many times before also for breakfasts etc to support a local business. I ordered vegetable curry with ONE spoonful of rice and side salad, It came out as so many spoonfuls of rice and ONE spoonful of veg curry when asked by the owner if everything was all right I said " NO" and she said GOOD and walked away. Clearly as previously good customers we could not understand the attitude that was shown to us. Sadly this will be our last visit.

Mum's treat to me for lunch today. The service was very good, we were given time to make our decision of what we wanted to eat. It was lovely and warm inside, and it was a nice haven from the awful Autumnal weather outside! A nice cosy atmosphere and mum had booked the table in the window for us. It would have been good if there had been more cushions for the wooden chairs, I managed to find 1 for Mum. I had a single all day English breakfast which was excellent, bacon,1 sausage, mushrooms, tomato, hash brown and an egg. All this with a slice of wholemeal or white bread and butter. This I felt was very good value for £ 5.95. The meal was served up on a very hot plate, which always pleases me! Mum had her usual choice of a cranberry and brie toasted sandwich, with salad and coleslaw. She could not manage all of it so what was left they put into a box for her to take home. I had a hot chocolate and mum an ordinary coffee. I think mum paid about £12.50 for the 2 meals and 2 drinks which was very reasonable.

I frequently visit Bakes & Blossoms due to the lovely team of ladies and the friendly clientele. I always receive a warm welcome, the food is always good and the range of hot and cold drinks is plentiful. I wholeheartedly recommend B&B to anyone.

Bakes And Blossoms is more than just a café. Its a café, a craft shop, a meeting place, the centre point of a village. The all day breakfast is excellent using the best quality food and at only 4.95 with a coffee or tea for an all day breakfast is tremendous value too. Its also a great place for filled rolls and sandwiches which are made to order on the premises or for a tasty lunch. Several groups use the café to meet in the week on weekdays so you may have to wait a little while at busy times but it's well worth the wait. I'm coming here again :)

In my opinion this is the best pub in Sudbury, most certainly as far as real ale and cider is concerned. The pub has meticulously kept beer at reasonable prices and some interesting guest ales appear on a rotation basis every week or so alongside some great core range ales from the local brewery. Updates of the new beers on tap can be helpfully found on their Facebook page, as can be information regarding live music acts (every Sunday) and for other events. The pub is dog friendly and some adorable mutts frequent the pub. If you're a Sudbury resident with a dog that is well behaved then I'd definitely recommend walkies to The Brewery Tap. You will find the staff are friendly and courteous. For those with the unfortunate (yet compelling) affliction of smoking, there is a beer garden with shelter from the rain. For those coming from further afield, be aware this pub has no car park for exclusive use of patrons, but you can find nearby places to park.

Had reserved a table in the bar. Arrived and no table in the bar, (blamed on staff member who had left) We were given table in the restaurant. The menu was perused and I found it lacking in gluten free options. Usually most of the mains there had been GF. Had previously enjoyed battered fish and chips there. Delicious. Ordered 1 starter and 3 mains.(There were 3 of us) Mains arrived, questioned where was the starter. Was told she would go and get it. Meanwhile main course was cooling. Told her not to bother. Was offered the starter for free but no point as main course would have cooled. We can't fault the food, was very good except for a very salty peppercorn sauce. We left feeling very sad, especially as our guest had been told what a great place it was to eat in. Unfortunately Kersey Bell has to be removed from our list of favourite placed to eat.
