Nice choice friends for coffee as a belated birthday for one of them

Lovely jacket potatoes served with salad. Beautiful cakes. Love the tea served in a white teapot. Always piping hot. Went on a Saturday. The place was heaving. Wonderful happy atmosphere. If you don't like crowds best to go on a weekday when it's less crowded. Nice staff and friendly customers. Very sociable place to eat and drink.

I went to lunch with my boys and we were seated at a dirty table, still cluttered with used plates, trays, cups, crumbs and spills from the previous customers. I requested that the table be cleaned before we sat down. The Asian man attending to us asked us to sit and said he would send someone over to clean it. We cooperated and sat down, even cleaning the chairs ourselves since they were also covered in food crumbs. The next thing we knew, this man was passing our food plates to us from his till through the barriers. I reminded him that the table hadn’t been cleaned and there was no space for our food because of the leftover items. He started yelling at me and insisted I take the food from him. I refused, saying there was no way I would eat at a dirty table. He yelled again, took the food back and sent a young lady to clear the table. However, she only removed the plates and cups but didn’t clean the crumbs and spills. They also didn’t say anything about our food. After a while, a mature lady who seemed to be the manager came around, saw our messy table, apologized, cleaned it and brought us our food. I can’t stop wondering why the Asian man treated us that way. I keep asking myself if it was because we were a black family. The treatment we received was appalling and made me feel terrible for my kids. It was truly a heart-wrenching experience for us today !

This is a lovely place, very clean and with a good selection of food and drink options. Loved the smiley face on my cappuccino:) Service with a smile from the super efficient Uthmaan.

Very lovely staff,good quality coffee and food.I noticed the staff are very kind and looking after elderly customers which is always a plus.Will come back definetely whenever I will be in the area.

First time I tried the gluten free almond muffin and the red velvet cake, the cake wasn't dry as with the other cafe in the sane mall and it's served in appropriate containers not a wrapped up paper plate that squashes the cake as with the other cafe. Both tasted so fresh, I will definitely get a take away again. Well worth the money.

My mum ordered a cup of tea and it came with the tea bag still in the cup and the milk looked like cream and they didn't even give a spoon to mix it also the milk was warm wich is weird cuz u don't put warm milk in hot drinks it's usually cold so I'm not very impressed by that.

Nice place but would be helpful if they had more staff members 1st thing in the morning or if the one staff member was more present serving. Appreciate they are the only ones there and have to get place ready but last few times gone 8am, I've had to walk out as waited over 5 minutes for someone to emerge from the back. Me and another lady gave up as no one was there serving.

Excellent place to relax, chill and socialise. If you’re on your own or with others - this place is absolutely wonderful for you to enjoy a coffee. So much variety on offer with the food selection and very tasty! I can’t fault this place and recommend everyone to make sure they try it out if passing by or looking for somewhere to take lunch - any day of the week. Customer service is also top notch and I was very welcomed and left better & more rejuvenated than can be expected. Thanks.

Lovely little cafe in The Mall. Delicious range of hot and cold food. Highlight spot for elderly couples. I will be back to try the jacket potatoes soon, as recommend by a lovely couple next to us!

Nice place. Cheese an ham panini ok I've had better. Muffins very nice not cheap. Coffee pretty good.

Chose the ham hock and cheese toasted Italian flat bread and it was delicious. Hot chocolate fine and dandy and not overly sweet. All in all a very good experience.

Service was fantastic, really friendly people. Really clean and comfortable. It's a personal thing for me but, the only complaint I have is I not very keen on having the floor cleaned under the table I'm sat at, whilst having a nibble and a lovely hot drink.

Stopped here after popping into a shop for a coffee at the end of the day (so quiet) while we were leaving the shopping mall and got tempted by the muffins which we found were okay. Lunch options look good.

Under new management, mostly halal, reasonably priced food, drinks are fancy but delicious. Lovely comfortable atmosphere. Tuna baguette with original lemonade, ploughman’s sandwich with Mango, Pineapple & Passion fruit smoothie which needs wider straws for the fruit pieces.

Really nice coffee, friendly and helpful staff, only tried a Bacon bap, which was nice, will be back to sample baked goods later

After trapsing around 5 different food shopd to find a gluten free option that was not sweet. I popped in here as i have eaten the gluten free muffins from here before and they were delicious. When looking at the sandwiches on offer i noticed there weren't any gluten free options. I asked a lovely member of staff who said there are no gluten free options there but if i would like a sandwich or a toasty he would go and make it fresh for me. I watched this member of staff come back with my sandwich in a piece of grease proof paper and he ensured it did not touch the same surface as the gluten. He ensured the knife was cleaned before cutting my toastie. I was delighted to be able to eat safely and also enjoyed one of the amazing lemon meringue muffins. I thanked a member of staff after i had eaten to be told of all the gluten free and vegan options they offer when asked. Such lovely staff an over all great experience Thank you again

Michelle is a legend! I came in with my wife (who had the hump because I had been an asrehole to her all day) who promptly had a moan about the slow service (it was VERY busy) and Michelle could not do enough for us and managed to placate my wife sufficiently LOL. Michelle deserves a raise! Thank you x

Really pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting much from a cafe in a shopping centre but the food (and coffee) was tasty and the staff were so helpful and friendly. They do boxes of muffins and I'd be tempted to go back to pick up a box (we didn't try them just a Panini and a flatbread) and I'd happily recommend to anyone looking for a coffee or cafe pitstop

Husband stopped for a coffee and a pasty. This is the 2nd time he stopped on here for thr pasty alone. The coffee is he fave of all the outlets in the mall.

Staff pleasant but did not seem to flow very well. Started serving then stopped and continued 3 mins later with different member of staff.

Really great place for a meet up or a light lunch , lots of food and drink choices. The staff are very helpful and friendly , ideal location in the centre the mall in Maidstone.

Nice ambience but no toilet facilities, a long wait to be served and overpriced.

Got served by Nikki who just grabbed the items off me, didn’t say hello or anything didn’t ask if we wanted anything else I had to tell her to which she rolled her eyes, the prices they charge the manners should be top notch, food was very basic considering the price , don’t bother save your money.

When staff member finally arrived, she didn't have the courtesy to acknowledge we were waiting and then continued to put items on the fridge. Will not be going again.

Having been to the BB muffins at Hempstead Valley, which is great, the Maidstone branch was a real disappointment. Firstly they had no coffee machine, no real apologies for this just told "so you'll just have to have cold drinks or hot chocolate". From the conversation of some people behind this is a recurrent problem here. Having decided to stay we ordered a mozzarella, basil and pesto panini and a tuna melt, I was told I had to wait at the counter to take these myself even though the drinks were slowly going cold. No table service here it seems. When it arrived the panini was soggy and broken and the pesto repeated on me for hours. The melt was very average. We took away the muffins a victoria sponge and a toffee apple, very disappointed when I arrived home and the muffin was dry and tasted stale. Not good enough BB muffins.

Well their coffee machine had broken down, so I had a teacake and a cup of tea, very nice, staff were friendly 😊

The muffins are fantastic here, the hot chocolate not so much and too much water added. The environment is great, great location and the sausage roll is to die for.

Friendly staff but let down by mediocre tasting coffee

It's OK. Food is mediocre so is the coffee, it's not a must return when near place. The tables and floor were dirty and the staff were sitting down.

Very nice cappuccino as it wasn't at all bitter. Also in quite large cup, but was normal sized serving. Friendly staff. We were laughing about the age of my loyalty card, which they swapped as it was at least 4 yrs old. It may now appear on an Antiques show!

I feel bad because after 10 minutes we got there, but the staff couldn't understand me and I struggled to communicate that I wanted 3 hot chocolates and a caramel Latte and a couple of snacks it wasn't a hard order but after repeating myself over and over I became fed up and just wanted to go. I stayed because my kids where really happy to be there. I feel for the poor woman serving me because I was feeling awkward as I had to keep on repeating myself and she looked embarrassed.

Its relaxing there, me and my friend were hungry after some shopping and decided to grab a bite there. He ordered a cappuccino whilst i got a sprite. We had some sandwiches and it was delicious! The staff were also really nice and the place was really clean and chill too!
