Good location for B2B path users, great opening hours, lovely toasties, plenty of cake selection and decent coffee. Can't give 5* because of the reliance on single use cups and boxes for all food/drink, there's really no excuse for it and honestly drinking out of a cardboard cup makes me feel like I'm in McDonald's.

This place is awesome. I had a chicken bhaji pasty and a chicken sandwich / burger thing. Both were made expertly and tasted divine. It was like the chicken sandwich meat had been soaked in spice and goodness for a day before i ate it. So happy. Just be aware that the place is busy and so if you’re looking for a more relaxed sit down venue you might struggle. Its more of a grab and go place with seats. We were totally fine with this. WE WILL BE BACK!!!

I was induced to try this place because of the average rating. Unfortunately I can't see a reason why it's worth to go to this place ever again. By car it is a nightmare to find a slot, it is also expensive, the quality of good and drink is below every possible expectations. The service is unfriendly and "couldn't care less" attitude. Why bother going again? I won't, simple. The area is an industrial one, so obviously you won't be able to enjoy the landscape either, but not even enjoying a meal nor a good coffee. I left mine (that cost £3.90) completely full. It tasted awfully bad. I don't recommend this place for a drink nor a bite. But that's my personal experience. I wish other people a much better luck!!!

I have had both take out and I have dined in. Its a lovely bakery where they present the food beautifully, however they do not cover the food and I went in once in the summer and there were a lot of flies flying around the food. As a suggestion just use clear food covers. My second point upon my most recent visit I went in to grab a bite, near the fridge where the pre made sandwiches are is the kitchen area where they prepare the food, I'm glad its open so u can see however what I did not expect to see is a lady dip her whole ungloved hand into a jar of pickles. This really put me off. I just don't think it's very sanitary or professional when handling food.

Love going here, always delicious cakes and bread. "Squasage rolls" are my favourite! I bring my own cup as their only downfall is serving with disposable cups even if sitting in. This is due to safety reasons though as wroking bakery so can't lower the score. If you care about the environment, you should carry your own around at all times anyways just in case!! The food is the main thing and it's very tasty with some decent deals too which you don't always get in Bristol. Toasted sandwiches are very filling. All and all great place to swing by!

The person in front of me was talking to the guy in the counter, who seemed to be her dear friend, because they talked and talked for like a bout 5 min, whilst a cue formed behind. Then, when it was finaly my turn, I approach, say "good morning" and the guy literally turns around, not a word, and goes into the kitchen area and starts moving trays about, trying to look busy, whilst 3 people stand waiting to order. This people has enough money as it is, I rather buy instant and drink that than give this "bussines" one penny if my pocket.

Left as it says it’s dog friendly but it’s not. if you are on your own you can’t go in to order if you have a dog with you. You can sit outside with your dog and that’s fine if you are with other people as you can tag team to go in and see what you want. I just got asked to leave as soon as they saw me coming no options given. It was fine I didn’t mind as that’s their rules. There are plenty of other options in the local area such as Harts Bakery, Mokoko, the Dings Deli and Small Goods. It was more that I was just told I had to go. Hence my score is based solely on this. I’m sure the food is great but I had no way of finding out on this occasion.

Used to be okay but with the sudden and significant increase in bread price, it's just not worth it. There are bakeries within similar walking distance that have cheaper products with the same or better quality. Really weather dependent because the inside doesn't have a cozy vibe and you can only stay outside if it's sunny. Also, coffee is such a hit and miss here and you walk out disappointed after spending £4 on something you could make at home.

Lovely location with nice outdoor seating. I pass this place every day on my way to work so have been many times. Good coffee and friendly service. The sausage rolls are nice, and the toasty I had was lovely too. The pain au chocolats are huge, but nothing like traditional french PACs, the pastry is quite dry which is a shame. The cakes are sadly also nothing to write home about, apart from a very small selection like the millionaire shortbread or the carrot cake for example which are very nice. The rest of the cakes look nice, but are very sweet, lack taste, and dry - I've tried many different ones. The icing is solid and very sweet but not in a good way. Finding it hard to understand how their cakes have ended up in coffee shops all over Bristol. I'll definitely be back as it is very convenient and the coffee is nice, but their cakes are a no from me.

I do go here but really don’t rate the cakes. I’ve tried quite a few as they have a good deal - 3 for £7 but the flavours are often lacklustre, they’re very sweet and often very dry. They look good but don’t deliver. A queue system would be helpful. In one side and out the other - it’s annoying for customers that people just sort of pile in wherever. They also only have disposable cups, plates and cutlery. Come on. Only one toilet for staff and customers 🙄. Having said all that I’ll still go. I like sitting outside and enjoy the coffee. Don’t think I’ll bother with the cakes any more though unless something looks really good.

Nice coffee shop, we went for coffee and almond croissant but to be honest the croissant were pretty disappointing considering it’s an independent bakery. They looked great but we’re those fluffy non-crispy ones. I asked for a long black but got quite a big americano, seems like a minor difference but it’s what we like. If you don’t know what a long black is then just ask but don’t just assume it’s the same as an americano. I think long blacks are becoming more common in the UK but it appears the idea hasn’t fully spread to this bakery. We tend to drink decaf (I know, we’re not proper coffee drinkers, right?) but it tasted great, if a little watery.

Everything about this place is great. Coffee, from Clifton roasters, is excellent. Service is fast and efficient but also super friendly. In my opinion they do the best pastel de natas in Bristol (but that's a heavily debated topic!) The other cakes are also fantastic. Lunch time meal deal is also great where you can get a sandwich/toasty, cake/pastry and a drink for £8.50. Toasties are excellent, generously portioned and change ingredients seasonally. There's also regular soups and frittas of the day that change regularly. Can't wait to comeback and try some more!
