Had the white chocolate cookies... unbelievable. How the chocolate stays melted at room temperature is beyond me, absolutely gorgeous!

I went to this quaint coffee shop for a scone and a coffee. absolutely amazing scone never had one like that in my life. It feels like a family establishment and I ended up speaking to other customers. I felt at home and I noticed all the cakes were homemade and my god you can taste the difference. Can't wait to go back next week for my scone and cheesecake

181A Sunderland RoadVisiting Village Delights is often a highlight of my week. The staff are all friendly, hilarious and talented in the kitchen. The coffee is strong and smooth. the sandwiches are proper double handed stotties and the sweet treats are home made with proper chocolate so are delicious. If you've not been please visit, as you won't be disappointed!

31 East Smithy StreetOld fashioned, down to earth cafe/restaurant. Hearty plate-fulls of what granny used to serve. Great selections of traditional English meals plus exotics on offer as well. Very busy over lunch-time. Excellent value. Great personal service
