Had a few beers listening to some banging eighties tunes in the garden

We love the Bailiff. My parents are new to the area and they couldn't have been made to feel more welcome.

Called in for a family lunch and had a great meal. Everything we had was delicious and well presented . The burgers and chilli were particularly good and homemade. Desserts were very tasty too. Service was friendly and efficient. Prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food. Would definitely love to go back again.

Great pub and very peaceful. Drinks at a great price and Sunday roasts are done too. Food is great and staff are very friendly.

Warm, comfortable but a bit characterless. Had 2 Shepherd Name ales on. The one I tried tasted as if it had been on for a couple of days too long

Proper local, selling sheps beers, which are well kept, everyone is very friendly and welcoming bar staff are excellent

Fab little pub, Debbie and Wendy are the most welcoming landladies I have ever met, they were so kind and helpful and couldn’t do enough for you, we will definitely come back to see them when we are next in the area, highly recommend as their customer service and hospitality is the best I have ever encountered x

Great atmosphere n lovely inside

Went in for a Guinness,very impressed.So used to it coming out of a tin which is not great.In this pub it was "real Guinness" and a good one at that.Well done !

Lovely family friendly pub, outside in the garden there was great music being played by OLAS BOSS, amazing atmosphere, look forward to returning next time OLAS BOSS is in the house.

Lovely little pub, very friendly staff and landlady, good selection of drinks and great food. The pie and mash comes highly recommended.

The boy Olly was very nice but the two other women working there were extremely rude, unfriendly, and disrespectful. I would never recommend coming here.

Extremely welcoming pub with a good selection of beers, none run of the mill. They even offered my daughter some colouring books and pencils to keep her entertained. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff always a warm welcome.

We just stumbled upon this place after been turned away from other local family pubs for being fully booked on a Sunday of a bank holiday weekend. This place is a must if you have a family, we are a family of 5. Thoroughly welcoming and accommodating. We absolutely loved this place and the food was great too(roast potatoes to die for).

Friendly, welcoming AND dog friendly pub. Has a pool table and other games. A genuine pub untainted by the Gastro craze. They sell food but this was not available on Saturday when I visited, hence the 4 stars, would have got five for that.

Yesterday was the 1st year anniversary celebrations since Debbie has had the pub and it was all about raising money for McMillan, a lot of people helped and the pub was bouncing she also arranged for a Rod Stewart lookalike, at the end of the day it was a lot of money raised for McMillan, and if her coming year's are as good as the first then everyone visiting is sure of a good welcome
