Bagels & Bakes in Glasgow City

¡Esta es la mejor pequeña tienda de bagels de Glasgow! Estábamos visitando Glasgow desde Florida, mi esposo es de Glasgow, y estuvimos aquí por un tiempo para que pudiera recibir tratamiento por una enfermedad. Nos alojamos en un Airbnb a la vuelta de la esquina y simplemente entramos en esta tienda porque teníamos hambre. Había la joven más dulce detrás del mostrador que nos ayudó, los bagels eran fantásticos, el servicio era excelente, el lugar estaba muy bien decorado con flores y obras de arte de los clientes a las que mi esposo se sumó. Accidentalmente dejé mi teléfono allí y cuando volví a buscarlo, había una nota en la puerta para la pareja de Florida que nos decía que mi teléfono estaba al lado. Regresé un par de veces después de eso y la joven detrás del mostrador ha sido muy amable y muy servicial. No se pierda este lugar cuando visite Glasgow, no se sentirá decepcionado. Really not sure what to make of this place yet. Service was just kind of average and not really sure I was made to feel welcome/ wanted in the shop, the girl serving seemed quite annoyed actually that I was in and she had to make me something? The coffee was average and the cake was quite overpriced for what it was. Their was a sign up saying that they are a take out only but welcome to sit and wait out if the weather was bad.... I was confused because there are 4 tables and benches when you walk in so it’s all set up as a cafe.... but it’s not actually a cafe. That being said, the bagel was amazing. Honestly so yum and so fresh and tasty. Just need a few tweaks and this will be a top notch place to visit.

Bagels and bakes puts the brakes on all other bagel joints, top class chat and even better food ! I would highly recommend, nice cosy,clean environment and just the ticket if your needing a some banging food goodness in your belly.

Stumbled across Bagels and bakes after a Sunday morning family stroll round Glasgow Green. Our breakfast bagels were delicious and very filling, ideal after a brisk walk on a cold winters’ day. We felt cheeky asking the staff for cutlery but by their friendly response I get the impression they get this all the time given how packed the bagels are. Kids adored the chocolate and marshmallow bagels. Cappuccino and tea was lovely too. Didn’t try the tempting cakes on offer due to the calorie intake from bagels. Already talking about the rocky road cake for our next visit though. The shop itself is cosy, immaculate and has quirky/stylish vibe. Staff (not sure if they were owners) were funny, welcoming and quite knowledgeable/enthusiastic about their local produce. A hidden treasure.

Bagels and Bakes is truly amazing! I have visited religiously since it opened and forever find myself trying new and delicious things, the burger bagel is my favourite along with a latte or the amazing hot chocolate! Cakes are to die for also! Truly recommend, staff are so lovely and welcoming along with the unique decor!

Went in for 2 bagels and coffees. Took 20 mins even though it was really quiet. Bagels were practically inedible after being toasted within an inch of their life. Coffee was dissapointing. Cost £16 in total. Total rip off. Would not recommend.

Will definitely be back . Popped in for a bite to eat . Friendly staff , awesome bagels and of course we had to try the amazing cakes 😍 I had hot chocolate which was delicious and hubby got what he described as a smooth and tasty coffee. Highly recommend

Absolutely amazing food and lovely staff, I had the bacon burger bagel and it was incredible. 10/10 would recommend to everyone and anyway.

The bagels are delicious and the variety is great. also has the best coffee, great for breakfast lunch and dinner. Decorations and staff make you feel so welcome, will definitely continue to keep coming here!!

I llove it here. The atmosphere is great, bagels are amazing, loads of choices, they also serve THE best coffee (with or without cake)!
