Bagelmania in Glasgow City

Working round the corner doing a bathroom and have been coming here for lunch. Went for breakfast and its truly amazing food is amazing coffee is amazing and service is top class

Nice place and lots of options. It is a little pricey but not too bad for the West end. Its a bit slow almost like subway with bagels. So maybe not ideal if your in a huge rush.

A veces, un panecillo lleno golpea el lugar del hambre mucho mejor que un simple sarnie, ¡y estos dan un golpe! El New York Deluxe, lleno de pastrami, pepinillos crujientes y queso era deliciosamente sabroso y satisfizo nuestros apetitos, pero necesitarás más de una servilleta si eres un comedor desordenado como yo. Impresionado por la variedad de rellenos y la elección de panecillos también. (La nuestra era amapola - semilla, si alguien está interesado) Estaba encantado de encontrar la bebida de durazno de Bundaberg en el gabinete del enfriador ya que es difícil de conseguir. Lo único negativo fue que hacía un poco de frío para sentarse en un día muy frío, pero a pesar de eso estaba agradecido.

I ordered the Reuben. What I received looked nothing like the picture on the window outside or what I've had in proper New York deli's. The bread was stale and chewy as it had been heated in an industrial microwave oven. The sides of the bread were dry and over toasted. The filling wasn't much better, there seemed to be far less than the advertised half a pound of salt beef and what there was was dry, not the moist buttery texture that it should have.I attended lunchtime on 28 September on Byers Road and the dark haired lady who served me seemed flustered and clueless hence why it was over cooked. Her blonde colleague seemed to know what she was doing so perhaps score could go up to a three if properly made.

Visited for breakfast on a recent trip to Glasgow. Hubby’s bagel was fine but I couldn’t have been more disappointed. I asked for peanut butter and jam on a cinnamon bagel which is one of my favourites. I asked for the raspberry jam but it was obvious there was hardly any left in the jar, and instead of offering me a different flavour I was given the tiny scraping that was left in the bottom of the jar - see attached photo. It probably wasn’t even 1/4 teaspoon of jam for the whole bagel! I ended up putting it in the bin and going to the nearest Pret. Won’t be back.

Best Bagel ever! In addition to that very good coffee and lovely staff 💕 it was a great birthday breakfast :)

One of my favourite places in Glasgow, Lucks and Cam are always a laugh. The place is full of friendly and welcoming staff who serve a great variety of tasty bagels!

Muy buena comida, lo encontramos de casualidad rumbo al departamento, nos tentamos con unas hamburguesas muy sabrosas y unas ensaladas, todo muy rico y fresco, buena atencion y muy buenos precios, el local lleno de gente y muy limpio, para recomendar.

Lovely wee place with high variety of bagels. You must try the Pulled pork with Jack Daniels sauce, as well as the houmous and falafel one. I’ve visited several times and will definitely be back again.

Generalmente evitar rápido establecimientos de comida para llevar, pero el hambre me llevó. Para una agradable sorpresa. Buena selección de oferta. Pollo César tenía que era un bagel bien llenos y bien juntas por asistente amable (Byers Rd). Muy sabroso y satisfactorio. Buen café.. A un precio razonable, así que una buena relación calidad-precio. Sin duda alguna volvería otra vez!

Looking for a quick snack in Byres Road today and went not this shop. Chorizo and cheese ciabatta was excellent along with my latte. Prices good and staff very welcoming, worth a visit next time in the area.

Staff were really helpful and allowed us to pick any fillings we wanted. Perfect for any time of the day. We were peckish but not hungry enough for a massive breakfast so this was perfect!

This is the best bagel place I have found in the UK. they have a wide variety of bagel selection and a decent menu.

Me encanta este lugar me bagels y satisfecho. El personal es muy agradable y no me importa estar allí por horas hablando con mis amigos.

Un salto con mi novia ya que estamos deambulando por ahí. Muy buena comida y zumo de naranja. Lo mejor fue que los chicos trabajando detrás del mostrador, super amable, charlar genial y tenía algunos consejos sobre cosas que hacer en nuestro próximo viaje a...

Me encanta como hacer todos mis bagelmania colegas! El personal es muy agradable y servicial, que es el motivo por el que volver cada día para el almuerzo! Todo personal es la favorita con cerdo desmenuzado y bagel también ofrecen casa de horneado que es demasiado tentadora. Debe probar:).

Dropped in for Sunday lunch, wanted quick sandwich. Good variety of different types of bagels and huge selection of fresh ingredients. New York pastrami bagel was lovely as was husbands jack Daniels pulled pork. Really nice staff, look forward to tasting the MR Reuben! Good prices.

I popped in for a quick breakfast coffee me bagel. The staff were friendly, the prices were good and the quality was more than is expected. I would be more than happy to revisit on my next trip to Glasgow.

Poped in for lunch today and I cannot fault the food! Those serving were very friendly, there were many options on the menu all freshly prepared to order. There were about three large tables inside and whilst sitting to eat there was a queue out the door. This is always a good sign but made it pretty cold to eat. There were a fair amount of vegetarian options and the staff were happy to change ingredients depending on the order.

Bardzo sie rozczarowałem wyborem bajgli w sesji śniadaniowej. Bajgiel z łososiem i jajkiem to cieplawa breja... opcji lunchowych jest znacznie więcej. Bardzo miła obsługa.

Come here for lunch regularly as I work in town. Great shop with a big variety of choice. The staff are all lovely especially the owner and the English woman! Definitely recommend

The salt beef bagel blew me away. I wish this place would open in Edinburgh. There's plenty demand in the city centre with all the offices and spare shop space on Shandwick place guys just saying. You'd have queues out the door!

Despite it being only a couple of minutes before Bagelmania closes on a Saturday evening, the two staff put plenty of effort into my order which in no way tasted as if it was the last bagel of the day. Big thanks to them. Great selection of bagels, fillings and drinks. Top quality and great taste.

Bagelmania provides a good service with a very good selection of fillings. I enjoyed the Reubens. The service was a little slow but all bagels are made to order so please be patient. I will be back.

Visited with my husband on a city visit as we were looking for somewhere a bit different. Husband had Chipotle chicken bagel I had the falafel one. Both were tasty and had a decent amount of filling. Prices also good. Selection of cakes looked delicious but decided to be good and skip dessert.

I've been here a few times now and staff are always lovely and helpful! Foods brilliant and plenty of options on the menu which can be altered.

Went here yesterday morning for brunch and had a lovely panini with chicken, tomato, pesto and cheese. Very clean place with very friendly helpful staff.

Visited for a late breakfast. Really cheerful staff welcomed us and helped with our choices. Food was really tasty and prompt! Would definitely visit again :)

Lovely staff, despite being really busy. I had a really great pulled pork bagel which was a good price. Couldn't ask for more. Great visit.

Went a couple of Saturdays back and loved it! Got salmon and cream cheese which is a bagel classic. Variety of fillings for every taste and there's usually a selection of bagels to choose from. Decent prices and really filling!

They have a huge variety of bagels that they toast for you and you can choose between everyrhing from a plain cream cheese to pizza, hummus, salmon, ham filling. Everything is very fresh and nice it seems. I had a Hummus special with a really nice red hummus with olives and sundried tomatoes. Super simple but very tasty. The two ladies working there were so nice! I also got a short bread with caramel and chocolate for desert and it was amazing. The only weak point was the black coffee which was a bit dull. I would most def go back there though!

Bagelmania was both good and bad.The food was very good & the selection. Prices were good. But... a woman I assume was the boss was very stressed & I did feel sorry for the staff as she was on their case.

Love this place, it's the only place I go for lunch in Glasgow! Scott and David pleasant and helpful as always! Very welcoming! Highly recommend!

Stopped in here for a quick breakfast and we're glad we did. Had the New York Pastrami Bagel very tasty. Loads of choice and the woman serving was lovely and patient when waiting on us to choose. Well worth a try

Things didn't get off to a great start when I ordered a toastie and the girl needed to be shown how to make one. Then I realised to my disgust that there was a hair in it!!! I took it up to the desk to be informed that everyone had their hair tied up and I was told "there was only a bit left" as if that makes a difference there was still a hair in it! Safe to say I will not be returning!

Went to this place for lunch today, got the Bombay bagel, very nice bagel and even sat it to eat it.Reasonable prices for the city centre, would recommend.

I have been going to this bagel shop for years and I have always raved about how good it is. However, my opinion has completely changed due to the rude member of staff who served me one Sunday afternoon. I walked in the door and was greeted by stunned silence. The rude staff member proceeded to put on his gloves and continue to stare at me as if I was supposed to read his mind. He then said 'do you know what your wanting' in an extremely rude manner. I know what it's like to work in a shop and I would not treat any customers the way this guy did. I just wanted to cancel my order. I will not be back at this cafe. Also, the bagel I got was average with practically a full onion in the middle of it, again made by the rude staff member.

I tried out this cafe as it has quite decent reviews. I was slightly disappointed with the food, maybe the other bagels are better but I had the one with scrambled eggs, the eggs tastes like as if they were microwaved instead of freshly cooked.

Came here for breakfast for both days of my stay in Glasgow. Was busy, but staff were attentive. A large selection of reasonably priced bagels, baguettes and baked potatoes. Also has various money saving offers. The decor and seating area is in an American style which I liked, especially the bust of Darth Vader.

On Sauchiehall Street with a varied selection of bagels, coffee etc all reasonably priced. I tried the NYC Pastrami which was delicious. Limited seating both in and out with the target market probably take away. Thoroughly enjoyable

Great wee place, always busy - can rarely get a seat! Great choice for both bagels and fillings. New York Pastrami Deluxe is the go too bagel for me. Really nice coffee as well actually! Some nice and unusual desserts/cakes too.

Great little gem of a place in Glasgow to get quick lunch. Lots of choices and friendly service. Plus points- fast service - lots of choices of bagels and fillings- friendly staff- amazing beagles - bagels are toasted just right and filled professionally Low points- looks just like an old sandwich shop. When entering bagelmania I intended to get it to takeaway but I was pleasantly surprised to find it had a seating area. I ordered a plain bagel with cheese and bacon with a coke to drink and my husband ordered an egg, cheese and bacon bagel with a lemonade drink. We also ordered 2 white caramel shortbread cakes. I thought the price was pretty good and the quality of the food was great. I particularly liked the strong mature cheddar which they put on my bagel. I think these are the best bagels in the city centre. This place is great for a quick lunch.

We visited for breakfast both mornings we visited Glasgow - they do a large selection of different bagels and a really good value deal of breakfast bagel, coffee and orange which was just what was needed in the morning after a heavy night!

What a great find. Lovely fresh ingredients, and what a choice! Delicious and such good value for money. Will definitely be back when we're back in Glasgow.

With a pretty extensive menu there aren't many things these guys won't do with a bagel (....steady on). I had chipotle chicken which tasted pretty nice and was a decent portion. The staff were friendly and the prices were fairly reasonable. I'd eat here again if I were in the area.

Two staff seemed flustered trying to cope with four customers. They leave you waiting at the counter while you wait for other people's food to be cooked then your own. No bringing it over for people who eat in. One hot sandwich was plonked on the counter with no alert for the customer for whom it was intended. Staff seem unwilling to engage with custmers. Breakfast bagel was toasted by default. It would be nice to be asked if you wanted it toasting. Scrambled egg is an egg cracked into a bowl and zapped in the microwave. Doesn't look or taste anything like scrambled egg should. "Fresh" orange juice is pre-squeezed stuff that's been in the chill counter so long it had separated out. Not nice food. Overpriced. Can't think of anything positve to say about it other than it's probably a slightly better experience than ordering a waldorf salad at Fawlty Towers. Wouldn't go back. Don't recommend the place unless and until they up their game a bit.

Nice bagels but very small servings. Scrambled egg was like a yellow and white omelette. Bacon piece was miniscule. The smoothie was ok, but seemed to have a lot of apple juice straight from a jug out of the fridge. The 'fresh' orange juice was pre-prepared in plastic containers and had segregated, we were advised to 'stir it up' before consuming. Would never go back.

we had no great expectations of this place but greatly enjoyed our lunch. A classic salmon and cream cheese with fresh lemon and a de luxe pastrami with lots of trimmings. Freshly baked bagels (I saw them arrive) and generous fillings with friendly service. perfect for breakfast if you are staying nearby.

I was a regular here while studying in the Dental Hospital along the road. Great selection of bagels, fillings, soups and cakes. I have to recommend the Chipotle Chicken bagel and the banana caramel muffin. YUM

i had a breakfast bagel - egg and salmon. It was fine, nothing special. not expensive but not that tasty, Just... ok.

This was a 'brunch' stop for my son and myself. I don't know what I was expecting but I was pleasantly surprised. There was an ample choice of flavoured bagels and loads of fillings. My milky coffee came in a mug and this was the smallest they do as I asked.On the down side the plastic cutlery wasn't up too much and broke immediately I used it to half my bacon and egg filled bagel.

This is the 2nd visit and on both occasions we have come away having enjoyed s lovely lunch. Must try the NYPD Bagel next!
