Greggs in Glasgow City

Mi amigo y yo siempre vamos a nuestros Greggs locales en el parque tecnológico Hamilton, normalmente somos recibidos con un ambiente feliz, pero en esta cierta fecha a mediados de julio, mi amigo y yo entramos normalmente y luego pedimos las nuevas galletas calientes con un baño de chocolate y la persona detrás del mostrador dijo que solo hacen las galletas calientes después de las 4 pero harán los yum yum y nos disgustaron con la actitud de los trabajadores, ya que no estaban haciendo nada y la tienda estaba vacía.

Excelente servicio al cliente del personal de esta tienda, en particular Margaret - anne que ayudó a ordenar la comida y bebidas para nuestro grupo de caminata de 17 personas. Comida y bebidas fabulosas, apreciar escaneado y algunos regalos recogidos.

I walk in to work most mornings from Anniesland and when I do, I like to treat myself to a ‘Latte’ from Gregg’s. Never disappointing and very consistent. It’s very much my ‘local’ and you can’t argue with the pricing (in comparison to other close-by businesses anyway). The staff are always accommodating and polite. Nothing is ever a chore. I’ve bought the odd ‘Steak Bake’ from here and paid for some boxed ‘Donuts’ on my first day at work. Again, no dramas - the ‘Donuts’ in particular were popular in the office. Many more visits to come as i’ve just began the duration of a three year contract in my job nearby. All in all, a satisfied customer.

This is a typical Greggs takeaway very well located near George Square. A great selection of hot and cold takeaway snacks and drinks.

My husband and I popped in at 4.00 to get a scotch pie ( having just arrived in Glasgow from London) and the young blonde assistant said there was none left but offered to pop 2 pies in oven when I said we came all the way from London and was eager to have a scotch,pie, we returned at 4.45 to 2 lovely pies and she said it was On the House ...how kind, I thanked her and told her you wouldn’t get service like that in London..Pies were delicious. So of she is reading this Well done and a Big Thank You.

Fancied a quick snack before visiting the Gallery and saw this Gregg's. Had to wait a few minutes for the vegan sausage rolls, but nothing beats fresh, hot pastries! Good value, though the rolls seem to get slightly smaller every time...

First stop in city centre for my granddaughter Harper who adores the sausage rolls, she devours them with gusto! 😄

Pastries nice. Only complaint not hot enough but lovely food and would return again. Greggs is a reliable chain

I have been enjoying Greggs lovely creamy chicken pasties and their steak slices for many years and althought the prices have gone up significantly they are still worth it for they are just delish !!

Was relieved to see this so close to the train station (as due to the refurbishment there isn't really any place to get food + a drink. Clean shop, really well stocked and quick service.

bought the quintessential sausage roll and and a couple of bacon and cheese pastries, but none were warm. Filled a gap butno more.

Went to sample the festive Pigs under Blankets baguette, and we were not disappointed this time. While the baguette was a bit hard, the filling was delicious and very tasty indeed. Again we also had the penguin biscuits, and again they were also delicious. Strangely we had a relatively nice day in Glasgow and were able to sit in the sunshine in George Square in December while enjoying lunch - superb!!!

We stayed just beside Greggs so both mornings we had filled rolls for breakfast, they were very good and a great price

This Gregg's had been around for years and despite all its modernisation it is a nightmare for queuing as very busy and narrow when waiting. Seems to sell out very quickly. Having less stores maybe makes more commercial sense but the price you pay ad a customer is a longer wait.

Greggs is a very reliable chain for reasonable quality sandwiches and baguettes and cakes and pastries. Our vegetarian baguettes were very fresh. service was friendly and speedy. All in all, a good place for casual food.

Same as all the other Greggs but it says it all when there are so many of them in Glasgow so you can't go wrong if you want a quick snack. There's a few tables in this one if you want to sit in.

We walked in as they opened and within minutes, the line was steady and busy. It was a perfect spot to enjoy people watching and eating breakfast sandwiches while drinking a latte. The sausage breakfast sandwich was a bit heavy but it sustained my hunger for a while, so it was worth it.

What else do you expect Great selection of savouries and sandwiches plus cakes Reasonably priced grab and go food in the centre of the city

Perfect place to have breakfast and watch the world go by. Friendly, fast service. Great variety and food options. Great value.

How can you go wrong with Greggs Sausage Rolls or steak bake or chicken bake, all delicious, we go to Greggs on a regular basis & never had a bad meal yet,

This branch of Greggs is poor even by the low standards of Greggs. There's barely any choice made worse by the fact that stuff seems to be permanently sold out. You'd think that given the location, right opposite George Square, the management would be diligent...
