My mother and I had noodles with tofu and pork from the lunch menu both were delicious and well priced. My daughter chose packet noodles off the shelf which she then cooked herself and mozzarella corn dog, she enjoyed both. Cute supermarket with nice selection of different things. Staff were friendly and super helpful.

A great little find. Extremely close to where we were staying, it has tons of authentic ingredients and very cute little sweets. I didn't get the chance to eat here, but it smelled amazing. Very disabled friendly with a ramp and wide Isles to get through.

This is an Asian supermarket and a small sit in street food mini restaurant. You choose from the menu regular carton £5.80 or large carton tub £7.80 then pick either rice or ramen noodles then a topping either meat,vegan/vegetarian items.Extra dumplings can be added and bao buns too.The food is really good and the staff are nice. The Asian supermarket is a bit pricey but it’s in the city of Glasgow.Overall recommend, yes.

I paid 7.80£ for char siu ramen, which was very tasty and filling, however no broth so a slightly different ramen bowl than expected but still tasted great, especially considering the price, very affordable for what it is. A huge bonus for me was the ambience, despite it being busy the staff remained friendly and attentive, every table wiped down as soon as a customer left, soy sauce handed out asap and very small wait times despite being busy. I'm also a keen recycler so I was very pleased to see the food is served in cardboard/paper, and the forks and knives are wooden, there is also separate bins for recycling and what not.

If you like Asian food, this is a place to go for a quick bite or lunch. You can have it as a takeaway, but we sat in and enjoyed all the food we have taken: dim sum platter to share, chicken gyoza with ramen noodles, beef teriyaki with ramen noodles. And there is more in this place as you can also buy authentic Asian food produce in the store. I packed some mushrooms, udon noodles, gochujang Korean paste and more to cook at home.

One of the best and easiest takeaways in Glasgow offering simple but good Asian food to go, it does has some limited inside seating and also contains a small Asian grocery section if you want to make your own food at home. I recommend the char siu bao buns, best lunch on the go for students looking to mix up from the daily Gregg's.

I ordered a miso soup with vegetables and tofu. I received a bowl of water with overcooked noodles (falling apart) with tasteless tofu and pieces of cabbage for £8. Shocking.

I've been going to Oaka now for a long time. I've been to a few of their stores in Glasgow. The prices are fantastic and the quality of the food is superb. Their staff are always super friendly & helpful. I work near the one in the west end of Glasgow, they are second to none. My favourite takeout food, I haven't tried sushi yet( not a fan of it in general) but they rice bowls are delicious, great value and the ha kao aswell as char sui Bao are equally delicious... My only complaint would be I wish there were more stores in Glasgow.

Over the last few months Oaka has went from one of my favs to one I avoid. For several reasons one being a few of the rice/noodles dishes have became very bland. With others coming with a pittance of sauce, leaving you eating plain noodles/rice with boiled chicken. Since my last experience though I avoid even the dim sums. I was given 4 orders of RAW pork dumplings. Have attached pics as there is no mistaking the level of rawness these were served. Even prior to cutting open the tops and pasta of the Sui Mai are clearly visible to be uncooked. This being raised to staff was not delay with appropriately, with suggestions i was mistaken!

I ordered Oaka by deliveroo, and it was really very bad. The food that arrived intact was extremely bland, and the broth from the noodle soup I ordered had all been spilled into to carrier bag, leaving me with a flavourless dish of plain white noodles and boiled chicken breast. Extremely disappointing. Perhaps they are better directly instead of by deliveroo? Or perhaps I just got unlucky. In either case, I will definitely avoid in future.

I walk in to work most mornings from Anniesland and when I do, I like to treat myself to a ‘Latte’ from Gregg’s. Never disappointing and very consistent. It’s very much my ‘local’ and you can’t argue with the pricing (in comparison to other close-by businesses anyway). The staff are always accommodating and polite. Nothing is ever a chore. I’ve bought the odd ‘Steak Bake’ from here and paid for some boxed ‘Donuts’ on my first day at work. Again, no dramas - the ‘Donuts’ in particular were popular in the office. Many more visits to come as i’ve just began the duration of a three year contract in my job nearby. All in all, a satisfied customer.
