Met Barbara today, after making an online purchase. What a lovely lady and her Red Velvet Cake is to die for. Forget Hummingsbirds etc, may a purchase from ‘Bad Ass Cakes’, you will not regret it.

Encontré esta joya en línea cuando buscaba algún momento para conseguirle a mi padre como regalo de cumpleaños de última hora. Vivo en el extranjero y necesitaba arreglar algo dentro de las 24 horas y recibirlo. Le envié un correo electrónico a Barbara a través del sitio web de la empresa, ya que ella respondió de inmediato y me informó que podía ayudar y, como mi padre vivía en la zona, entregó un pastel de cumpleaños (que me dijeron que estaba delicioso) puerta a puerta personalmente. Estaba tan feliz con su servicio que pedí otro pastel para mi sobrina unos días después. Recomiendo encarecidamente esta empresa y estoy deseando probar los pasteles de Barbara cuando sea la próxima en el Reino Unido.

This woman is not only an amazing baker, but she is very consistent, goes the extra mile, cakes are on point and Barbara has a cake to suit all! I don’t need an occasion for a cake, I just buy one! Keep it going sis. Love you and your cakes!!

143 Goldhawk RoadI got the Bandeja Paisa, (typical Colombian dish with red kidney beans, rice, plantain, cornbread, and egg served with steak, pork belly, colombian chorizo and salad). I had this a few weeks ago and I’m still thinking about how good this meal was and how much I want to go back. The portions are huge and I didn’t know I could stomach all that food but I sure did, I was pregnant with a food baby and could barely walk after but it was worth it because it was just TOO GOOD. The best colombian food I’ve ever had honestly. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the chorizo, it had a weird taste that I didn’t enjoy, everything else was DIVINE, even the salad was 🔥. The resturant decor literally feels like I’m in South America, the music, the vibe, the service, the diners, and especially the food, all excellent!! I want to bring my family here because I know they’ll love it. I highly recommend the meal I had if it’s your first time here, It is sooooo delicious! You will not be disappointed, the meal goes down well with a cold can of coke. Thank you Donde Carlos, see you soon!
