Baby Spinach in Lambeth

Popped in for coffee and tasty spinach and feta snack - delicious. Friendly and welcoming. But I won't be doing the yoga just yet!

First visit yesterday at the end of the signal specials. Expensive and a little and underwhelmed. Will need a good reason to return.

I went here for some lunch and a coffee yesterday. I ordered an oat milk latte, which was good, and the sweetcorn fritters. The fritters were a great portion size, although the side of salmon I ordered was pretty sad. The food itself was nice and fresh, although a little underseasoned. What really disappointed was the hygiene. The glasses and water on the tables did not look clean and I did not see any staff change them or wipe tables between customers. The salt on the tables was rock salt that you literally have to pinch and scrunch with your fingers. Who knows how many hands had been in there!? At least they were doing track and trace, although I'm unsure how many people actually fill it in on the online form. Overall, I enjoyed the visit and thought this was a really nice shop to spend an afternoon, but would be quite wary of it during covid times!

Have lived and working in the area for 5 years but only just uncovered this gem. Excellent service and exceptional food - cannot wait to go back and try other things off the menu. We had the sweetcorn fitters and grilled chicken, both were excellent.

Having normally only been after yoga, it’s now a go to for a coffee and light bite on the high road. It’s a nice big, light space and very welcoming. Fresh juices, spinach & feta rolls and the coffee are all a highlight. They do a very good decaf coffee for those preggo or breastfeeding. There have been times I’ve gone on my own (with baby) and ended up chatting to lovely people there who all have a good vibe. The yoga next door helps on that front! Support the independents!
