Right opposite Kentish Town Station and is such a cute little gem. Supeeerr delicious food with great service. We had the shingara chaat and onion pakora to start and they were unreal!! 10/10. For mains we had the dhal makhni and butter paneer masala - both were really nice. Good sized portions for a good price :)

My partner and I were looking for somewhere to eat before a gig at the O2 and stumbled upon this gem right opposite Kentish town station. The food was exceptional, full of flavour and the service was also excellent.

Been meaning to go to this restaurant for a long time and we weren't disappointed as there's a wide choice of excellent food served enthusiastically. We shall return!

I predict many more visits to this completely brilliant place. The interior is bright, breezy and welcoming with witty artworks on the walls; the service was utterly charming. One of our party had a dietary requirement and our server gave really helpful, knowledgable advice that was much appreciated. But the food was even better than all that. Pani Puri were crunchy little taste bombs that we all fought over; onion pakora was the best I've ever had. The masala dosa was heavenly - the pancake was feather-light, crisp and melted in the mouth and the filling was bursting with spicy tastiness. Biryani, rotis, dhal - all gorgeous. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the the masala chips, but my friends loved them. Prices are so reasonable, too. I can't wait to go back and try all the other things we didn't have!

Came across this restaurant when in Kentish Town and I have to say, some of the best food I have ever eaten. The flavours and textures were inredible. Service was excellent, the host was the nicest guy. Price points are good and worth every penny. Definitely coming back!

Hadn't visited here for some time but really enjoyed a return visit. Service is friendly and thoughtful and the food is very suited to sharing. We enjoyed a PANEER BUTTER MASSALA along with a dahl dish, chole masala and sag aloo. Really nice food and a bit different from the standard Indian menu. With Kentish Town tube station closed for a year, restaurants on this stretch may suffer. Best wishes to all at Babuji during this rather difficult time.

My son took me for lunch, he lives locally, while I visited him recently. The food was amazing, as was the service. I only wish I had an excuse to visit again soon! A really wonderful lunch.

We are renting a flat a little down the road for the week and we keep coming back to Babuji! The food is excellent and the pricing very reasonable. We have had: Butter chicken, Rice, Dahl Makhni, Naan (several types) Bhel Puri and Massala chips. It was all very tasty. The staff are all very friendly and we may have to go one last time before we leave in a few days.

Delicious, authentic food and fantastic service. Returned from India last month and missed the food and chai. So happy to have found this place, our first visit and an absolute gem. The food is tasty, clean (not processed) and exciting. Great menu and a really friendly team. Best chai I have had since returning from India too, delicious. I would recommend and am looking forward to my next visit. An absolute delight!

Excellent meal! We visited Babuji for my daughter’s birthday lunch as a group of 7. The food was delicious! We had a variety of dishes, all of which were cooked to perfection. I am gluten free and vegetarian and there was a good variety of dishes to suit my needs. My daughter and son said the naan breads were amazing! Service was great. The whole restaurant, including the rest rooms, was spotless, bright and welcoming. Would highly recommend!!

We shared starters of Bhel Puri and Onion Pakoras - very large portions, plenty for two, and both absolutely delicious, full of flavour and texture, although the Bhel Puri was almost too spicy. We then shared Aloo Gobi Mattar and Dhal which came with roti. The flavours were fresh and vivid and the bread light and homemade. Altogether a fantastic meal. Service was exemplary - friendly and efficient. We would highly recommend Babuji.
