Babasheesh in Bromley

Booked family lunch a month in advance only to arrive on the day and found the restaurant CLOSED and no reply from the telephone number. This is no way to run a business! Disappointed as visited the same restaurant a few months before and felt well received.

Great restaurant. Beautiful decor. Lovely simple food consisting of soup, grilled cheese and wraps. The waitress was friendly and helpful. Very relaxed lunch. Will certainly come again and try the rest of the extensive menu. Definitely recommended.

The manager was very rude and she was busy on her phone. She kept rolling her eyes at us everytime we called her over. She was rude to her colleague and humiliated him. Will never go there again.

Lovely ambience but something we couldn’t really put our finger on- waitress/mangeress seemed over anxious and we felt uncomfortable as she was hovering ! She was perfectly polite but tried to make even the slightest thing like ‘different tea/ coffees’ seem amazing, The food was great as was the wine Def return but staff need to be a bit more chilled‘ so you don’t feel under the ‘microscope!’ Might be because they hadn’t been open for long

Popped in for lunch. It was surprisingly quiet, which worried us a little, but this was misplaced. We both had an Iskender, which was great. The serving staff were good - friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The portion size was generous.
