The food here is always delicious. The waiting staff are always super friendly and polite. If you’re unsure on what to order they’ll talk you through the different options that suit your preference. Owner is super friendly.

Visited with colleagues, we had various dishes, all tasted delicious but prices very expensive compared to other restaurants in Keighley. £1.50p for a chapatti (flour and water).

Very poor service for delivery. Messed the order up completely, didn’t bring one dish got another completely wrong. No apology and just didn’t seem bothered, didn’t offer to bring the missing pieces. Really disappointed

I called into Azeems last minute on a Sunday evening after a local Italian restaurant let my wife and I down . From the moment my wife and I walked into Azeems we were treated with the upmost respect The staff are very friendly and always have time for the customers . The food is absolutely delicious and it is always cooked to perfection . The restaurant itself is immaculate and clean and you could not sit for anything better . The portions off food are generous and the place is very good value for money . Over time the staff at this place have become friends to bothy wife and I and no matter when we turn up we are always treated well. In my honest opinion I do not think you will find a better asian restaurant in the whole of West Yorkshire . The place always seems to be busy .Thank you guys for making our visit so special we look forward to seeing you again soon . Truly a superb restaurant that could compete with anyone certainly some of the best cooked foods I have ever tasted even the side salad tasted fresh

AZEEM’S RESTAURANT. 89-91 South Street, Keighley. West Yorkshire. TEL: 01535 681212 Date of Visit: 7th July 2024 A trip to Keighley in west Yorkshire where I ended up at the very acceptable Azeem’s Indian Restaurant. The sprawling historical town of Keighley was once a major player in the wool and Textile industries now sadly in decline. What is left of that era, is some magnificent and grand architecture, interspersed with some, in comparison, ugly modern buildings. The film “The railway Children” was made here and they now houses a particularly nice re -built steam railway that rolls out past some stunning scenery. Just a few miles down the road is another great historical town, that of Howarth, Bronte country. Where I was treated to a nice relaxing Sunday afternoon listening to the Howarth Brass Band who were playing in the local park. There is even an Indian restaurant in Howarth, The Howarth Tandoori! There is plenty to see and do in the area. There are no shortages of Indian restaurants in and around Keighley with the Shimla Spice, just a few yards down from Azeem’s and the impressive looking Balti House a short walk away. So, on to Azeem’s restaurant on South Street. A very comfortable modern restaurant with seating on the ground floor for around 60 people. They also have a function room on the first floor which has also been modernised. It is not licenced, but they have no objection to you bringing in your own alcohol. Staff are quite friendly and attentive. It was Sunday evening and by six O’clock it was filling up. Nor did the phone stop doing take out business. I ordered a couple of poppadom’s with the pickle tray which contained a nice spicey tandoori relish. I then chose my benchmark dish of Sheek kebab with chicken tika. Served on a sizzler plate the flavours in here were absolutely off the charts, subtly spiced with deep flavours, you could tell that the spices had been freshly ground and the use of fresh green chillies just oozed a fruity flavour. And to say it was absolutely piping hot would be an understatement I asked the staff member who was also one of the owners and who’s name I just cannot remember, for a recommendation and he suggested a chicken Tika Handee, and again the flavours of this dish just shouted load and clear off the plate, fresh clean spices and again piping hot. it was delicious. A pilau rice and a chapati completed the order. Parking is available right outside the front door. I’m going to give 8.5/10 for Azeem’s purely on the alcohol situation. Well worth a visit.

Back from Spain and had to visit my favourite local Curry House. The food was excellent as always and the staff friendly, polite and couldn't do enough to make it a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

We have been coming to this restaurant now for many years and so I thought it was about time that I showed my appreciation for this establishment. The very first thing I should mention is the outstanding reception that you get as you walk through the door. The service after that is out of this world every dish that you would like to have is explained to you in detail so you know before you start what you are going to get. And then comes the best part as the food begins to arrive. I can quite honestly say that over the years I have tried various dishes and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere in the restaurant is magic laughter and joy all around you. The toilets are in superb condition and the whole place is spotless. And last but not least I know from my own experience that if you went to Leeds you could never compete with this place for value for money. No wonder it won the prize for the best place in the Keighley area. Do not forget you must take your own alcohol with you and we all know what a saving that can be

We travelled from Liverpool for first time visit.Such lovely staff,courteous and great service.Food was flavoursome and fresh with good choices on the menu.Previous reviews lived up to their rating,would certainly come again,distance not a problem.

There was nothing particularly wrong with the food here, but it was just "OK." The Chicken Pathia had a weird taste, unlike any pathia I've had before, and the sauce had quite a claggy, almost artificial consistency. There was a lot of chicken in it, and the meat was good. The Coconut Rice was very dry, because the coconut was almost like a powder on top of the rice. The garlic and cheese naan was unlike any naan bread I've ever had, it was if there was a garlicky grit all over it, and the texture was more like a dense pizza base than the light, crispy naan breads I've had elsewhere. The portion sizes were too big, and that's reflected in the prices too. I ate just over half of my curry and rice, and about a third of the naan bread, so it was a waste of food and a waste of money. If the portion sizes had been halved, and the prices 25% lower, it would've been better for everybody. But at least I could wash it down with a nice, ice cold...... glass of water. I totally respect their decision not to serve alcohol, it was my own fault for not realising. For the people leaving reviews saying this is the best Indian food they've ever had, I'd like to invite you to countless restaurants in Newcastle, you'd be in for a treat.

Consistently good food and friendly, efficient service. We have eaten in and ordered takeaway. After trying various other local curry restaurants we consider this by far the best. Bring your own vino if you need a drink.

We ordered a meal from Azeem’s from Just Eat whilst staying in a holiday cottage. The meal arrived in good time. The food was nice and cost £72, we’d also paid extra for King Prawn in one dish, but they were more like small prawns. The family naan was enormous, but really nice. We had CTM and a chicken Jalfrazi, but they bore little resemblance to any that I’ve ever had before. The meal was okay, but not one of the best I’ve eaten.

We have had a lot of takeaways from Azeems and enjoyed them so decided to have a meal at the restaurant. The food was really nice, the atmosphere in the restaurant was good and the staff were kind and friendly and really made an effort to welcome us. Recommended.

The starters where amazing very tasty and a good price, my chicken balti was good but the fish pathia was beautiful. We also had plain lassi drink.

First time visit with my brother who lives in Keighley. He'd never been either but he will after this. Great starters, the masala fish fought with the seekh kebab for the star of a great mixed starter platter. He then had a truly amazing house...

The chicken is the best cooked I’ve had and the service is so welcoming. Always remembering my family and always catering for everything we need.

Our food came very quickly but almost two quickly and it showed in the food. Both curry’s we’re watery and tasteless and we had to put plenty of dip on them for them to even taste of anything, which is massively disappointing after spending more...

I have been frequenting this restaurant for the past ten years, great service, great staff and amazing food.

Lovely to be back at this family restaurant, where the people care about you and have a real interest in giving you the best service. Have been visiting for many years and find it one of the best curry houses in Yorkshire. They do their best to make dishes to your personal preferences, and once you become a regular take an interest in you as a family. I cannot recognise a recent comment, and would always recommend Azeems.

Azeem's is a special place to eat, the food is always delicious, in fact over the last nine years we have been eating at this well established restaurant we have always had an excellent meal. The food is fresh, tasty and will be cooked to the level of spice you like. The staff friendly and are only too happy to please, going out of their way to ensure every time you visit you have the best experience. Over the years we have taken family and introduced many friends to the restaurant and they regularly visit too. We have had many meals delivered over the lock down period, these were always delivered quickly, were super hot on arrival and just as delicious as eating at the restaurant. I would thoroughly recommend a visit and can guarantee you will put Azeem's on your favourite eateries list.

Visited for the first time since lockdown and were delighted to find that the food and service was still first class even with all the COVID precautions in place. Usual friendly and attentive service. I highly recommend the meat pathia. We’ll be back!

went there on bank holiday Monday the 31st of august , very busy , but they don't rush you even if there are people waiting the waiters work very hard and always smiling and courteous, the food is awesome it takes some beating. I took my gran kids there the waiters always ask what style do you want medium , hot etc the waiters don't assume they always ask the customer's , my gran kids loved it they made the meals how they liked it , if you want a good Indian this is the place they are very good and consistent as i do get some takeaways they always taste the same , they are not rude quite the opposite , they care abut there customer's even ask them when they are eating is it ok for you , so they know what s been ordered s right , the best in town by a mile , my gran kids love the family nan and thank the chef as they are very good at making meals , above and beyond , thank you Azeem's

I thought il give this place a try following some positive review.The staff are very rude and arrogant. They think they know what the customers want but really disspointed with the bullying attitude. Please avoid. Many more resturants in the arear where staff are really friendly and welcoming.Staff at this place need a eduction on customer service and need to learn some manners. Avoid this place.

We were not sure what expect on our first visit after lockdown . We were greeted politely as usual and then had our temperatures taken and telephone number taken for track and trace , all explained . The meal was as usual excellent . Definitely the best restaurant in the area .

The food was tasteless garbage. It was dog food with spices mixed in. A complete waste of money. I feel physically sick thinking of the meal delivered.

Visited a couple of months ago, always meant to try this place and it is now easily my favorite place in the area. Excellent service and staff and delicious food., My only gripe would be the portion sizes for mains could be slightly larger.

I'm from the north east visiting family . So everyone talks about getting a curry from these areas. I got tikka chicken balti it was ok I've had better would of preferred it a bit spicier. Mushroom pilau again had tastier. An garlic nan bread was very rubbery

Had the mixed sizzler, very bland.... flavourless onion bhajis, rubbery seekh kebabs, rubbery chicken tikka, cheap panga fish masala, both mint sauce and chilli sauce were poor in taste. Main course was meat Achari, the mutton was tough, and full of fat, obviously very cheap meat, the nan bread was dry and not buttered. Overall not worth the money, and the locals who are raving on about this establishment obviously don’t know any better. Disappointingly average,

Came last night 1st Feb party of 10 food was excellent service fantastic lots of empty plates. The restaurant was full but we had no waiting time for food. We had a couple of requests with some of our dishes and all was done for us no problem at all. Thanks for a great night WE WILL BE BACK

Just got a madras , it nearly blew my head off , too hot to enjoy , I like spicy food but this was like a vindaloo !

We were delighted to see some new additions to the menu at Azeem's when we visited recently. A really excellent meal. Our friends are quite happy to travel from Halifax because the food is so good. Excellent food and friendly and efficient staff. Can't fault it. Best curry in Keighley.

Visited previously with family and the food was as excellent then as it still is now; this was a works Christmas meal and we will be more than happy to return next year. Of course impeccable service as always, cannot fault a thing. Thank you for a lovely night.

We quite often get takeaways from azeems, and they never disappoint! We live a little out of town but they still deliver to us, and the food is always still hot by the time it gets to us. Definitely recommend 😀

We've eaten in many of the asian restaurants/ curry houses in Keighley and although we have enjoyed many of them, this is, without doubt, the best. A lovely relaxed atmosphere, roomy and acoustically ideal for conversation. There is never any rush to move when the meal is finished, we've been know to still be sitting at the table an hour after we've finished eating. The food is always delicious and whenever we have friends visiting keighley, this is always our first port of call.

My husband and I ordered two different meals but you wouldn't have know. They were basically two plates of splodge, looked the same and tasted the same, i.e. tasteless! Certainly wouldn't go there again.

Excellent food and lots of it! Staff very friendly. It’s BYOB so if you want alcohol you need to bring your own. Make sure you order a garlic naan, very impressive!

The starters were excellent. The sauce with the main courses were great. The chicken was dry and reheated which let down an otherwise really good meal. My test is "would I go there again"? Possibly at best.

Not eaten here since Christmas(been out of the country) and called in on Monday, and boy it was fab, the Handee dishes are superb. will try not to make it so long next time lol.

Well, just came here for a business meeting and had dinner there.

Went here on Tuesday night with friends to celebrate my birthday. We were the first in at 5.30 and immediately made to feel welcome. It is a bring your own alcohol restaurant so there is no expensive £4 a pint beer or £5 a glass wine!, My wife and I both had Onion Bhaji for starters which were light, crispy and very tasty. Our friends had Sheek Kebab and sizzling fish as starters and they were awesome. Main courses were equally as good and just as important, the waiting staff were excellent, efficient and good fun to have some banter with. Bill was only £80 for four including a tenner tip that we left. Will we go again.....you bet we will!!

Once again my friend and I enjoyed the superb food at this highly popular restaurant. Even though this restaurant is so popular and always busy the staff never show any signs of being under pressure (which I'm sure they must be) and always find time to say hi .. they are always there if you need anything but never hover over your table. The menu offers an extensive choice with something for everyone. All the food is so super tasty and never disappoints. If you want something not on the menu you only have to ask and your request will be carried out if at all possible. I will always recommend Azeems ... its simply the best.

With this cold weather we decided to stay indoors and order curry. Somehow Azeems always seem to produce some very unusual Asian favours.

Absolutely disgusting food. Ordered take away. Chicken tikka masala and chicken Karahi looked and tasted the same. Rung up to complain and they said I should have asked for Asian style. When I ring an Indian restaurant I expect Indian food. Not wishy washy watery food. No apology. Said was too busy to deal with my complaint. Disgusting service. Don’t ever go here. Go to shimla. At least they have a bit of respect.

My wife and I enjoyed a return visit to Azeems last Saturday and, as always, were super impressed with the service; seriously impressed with the ultra yumminess of their food; reminded, as if it were needed, just what a fantastic eatery it is!

Received a lovely greeting from nice people, it was warm and cosy. I enjoyed their world famous Masala fish, seekh Kebab and spicy chicken, it was excellent and please pass on my compliments to the professional kitchen staff @ Barkat. I have twice visited this restaurant with friends, and as someone who is hypersensitive to capseisin [the heat in chillies] I ordered dishes marked as mild on the menu - Korma the first time and something different the second time; both were full of chilli and spoiled my experience as my mouth burned and I sweated profusely! I won't be visiting again.

After reading reviews thought I'd give it a go. Me and my husband got a chicken tikka handi think thats how you spell it. And another chicken dish. Both tasted the same. And both very bland. Very disappointed won't be using them again

This is the second time me and my partner have come to Azeem’s for food. We found this place in October after reading so many nice reviews we decided to give it a try and we have been missing out, this is by far the best curry we have ever had. If you are down the Bradford area then you need to visit Azeem’s.

Visited Saturday night after seeing recommendations from TripAdvisor. All the reviews were really good and it matched expectations. Very comfortable and really tasty food great friendly welcoming staff. Will be visiting again for sure

I came here with my partner due to the very good comments on Google as we came for a getaway.. Bearing in mind we have some amazing curry houses back home in Peterborough and Leicester . I can honestly say that's the best experience and best food I have ever had! Value for money is amazing.. Staff are so friendly and the chef is a genius! First time at Azeem’s and I’m amazed on how good the food and service is. Defiantly recommend this place to anyone who loves a good homemade curry not to talk about the nan bread. I’ve had some food curry’s but by far this has to be the best. When I’m back down in this area I will visit this place again wish it was near me back in Peterborough.

Always a treat to come to Azeems for a tasty curry. Go with the selection of Handis as this is their hero dish. Great value for money, they do corkage too so BYO,a great place for groups or a chilled date night tucked away in one of the corners. Lovely service and staff who cant do enough for you.

Visited again last night ... this restaurant never disappoints .. their food is always cooked with perfection and always fresh and made with the best ingredients. I cannot fault Azeems and highly recommend a visit... whether its just a quiet meal or a party night everything is catered for by the lovely pleasant front of house staff and of course the very talented team of chefs.

I thought I knew what to expect from Indian cuisine, having tried a dozen different restaurants across Canada. I'm accustomed to paying too much for too little, but Azeem's has been the opposite of this. Large portions of delicious food, prepared with grace and skill, and served with geniality. Azeem, the dignified proprietor, is very friendly, as is the rest of the staff. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed by an outing here.

Whilst visiting friends who live in the Keighley area, they are regulars at this fine Indian restaurant, this was to be my first visit and it came with high expectation - it was well founded.
