THE WORST BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH. I wish I could give it zero stars! They have a brunch that starts at 3.45 but the kitchen closes at 5 however the brunch is advertised as an hour and half. I’m not quite sure if they don’t know what 90 minutes is because 3.45 - 5 is not 90 minutes. They clearly can’t count. I have never been so disappointed at a bottomless brunch and I go to a lot all over London. We were told we only had a hour and felt so rushed after talking to a very rude manager who was not polite he said you can sit for 15 more minutes but the kitchen still closed at 5. False information is given and the managers are so rude and don’t know the first thing about customer service. The food is not worth the money and neither are the drinks especially the cocktails which are full of sugar and acidic juice! Please do not book the brunch - you will regret it they did nothing to make our situation better and they clearly don’t care about people returning. I will never come back here and urge you to save your money and book a better bottomless brunch.

The setting, vibe and food were fabulous. Morella was even more fabulous!!. She looked after us so well. Fabulous place and highly recommend.

Went for a friend’s birthday and it was overall a pleasant experience. Our waitress Morella made ordering food very easy, given that we have a variety of diets and food restrictions, and was a friendly face throughout the night. Would recommend.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service my party and I experienced during our recent visit on on my birthday on the 15/02/25 We were particularly let down by the behavior of one of your staff members, Morella, who was snappy from the bringing of the visit and rude to us at the end of our visit. We arrived 5minutes early and was shown to our table, Morella then approached me and informed us quite hastily that at 5pm their is no more service and no matter how late our friends are they will not serve us. I explained that’s fine, our friends are on time and we were early. She seemed unhappy at this and huffed and puffed. On arrival I was asked if it was 8 of us I explained it two people were unfortunately ill and the hostess (not Morella) that, this was not an issue. When Morella served us she was shocked it was not 8 but explained “it’s better for me”. I laughed and put it to the side. Additionally, we had booked the bottomless drinks offer from 3:30 to 5:00 PM, but due to extremely slow service, we received far fewer drinks than expected. This was frustrating, as we had specifically chosen this offer for the experience. We had to wait at least 10 - 15mins between asking for each drink which is not normal for bottomless, when I questioned why they were taking so long and they served the table next to us I was told “we have to check the time left on your table”. I do understand this but we were booked after all the other seated tables. 30 minutes before the end of our bottomless we received a drink, following this we asked for another to be told that we need to pay first before we get a drink. I questioned this and explained I would not pay the service charge, Morella rudely banged the bill on the table and said she will speak to the managers. I asked why, as we were still within the bottomless period, she again said she will speak to the managers. I was very confused as we were still within our period and they were serving other tables that had been there earlier. I’m not sure whether it was my race or colour as a half Indian man but she was pointing at me to other staff members. I can understand she was unhappy, but I spoke to her respectfully and laid out my concerns however she was just rude. I work in the service industry and I have never experienced behaviour like this. It has ruined my birthday celebration. As a result of the poor service and the interaction with Morella, we made the decision not to pay the service charge. We had hoped for a more enjoyable visit, but unfortunately, the service did not meet expectations. I hope you will take this feedback seriously to prevent similar experiences for future customers. I have never had such a bad experience and Morella is not a nice woman, I don’t not believe she should work in the service industry. Morella ruined my birth day

Amazing brunch! Food was unreal, very tasty and lots of it. Drinks also great too. Mariah was amazing too, always made sure our drinks were topped up. Highly recommend

We stopped at this place to try, and it was a great coincidence. Starting with the spectacular range of flavors and meeting Morella and Azamat we decided we were going to repeat. Since then, we have returned several times in order to taste all Peruvian dishes! Ceviches are the best, we highly recommend it!!!

Ayllu is an intimate little basement restaurant situated right next (and under) paddington station. The entire experience was a little more on the pricy side but we had an amazing experience and would definitely come back. We had the pleasure of enjoying the valentine's special tasting menu in a cute booth. Enjoying live music throughout the night (special mention to the violinist and the flamenco guitar) and even samba dancers! Service was great and the food was delicious. Starting off with the best guac I've ever had, and really tasty tuna ceviche. All of the mains were stellar: delicious steak (cooked to your liking), out of this world bomba rice with salmon and great yuccas bravas (which they should have served more of straight into my mouth please). The prosecco was great, and the extra cocktails we ordered were incredible and we could see them being made right next to us at the bar! The experience was capped off with a lovely creamy dessert in the shape of a heart, just lovely. As I said at the start I'd definitely come back to check out what else they offer!

A nice restaurant but it lacked personal service and attention. There was a DJ playing in the background but it was a little loud for the class of the restaurant. However, it did seem popular with the guests. I think the DJ enjoyed his evening!! The food was very good but the finale lacked on the set menu and was somewhat disappointing. I would have liked the waiting staff to explain the dishes as they delivered them rather than not being interested. This restaurant has the potential to be very very good. I think the manager got that when we had a chat.

Went for a birthday celebration, the service and atmosphere was great, food was nice too, but selection may be limited per person. Morella was super amazing, she gave our table of 12 a wonderful experience, we all left very happy.

Definitely the best restaurant in Central London. Not only for the wonderful hands of the chef who with his sensitivity and respect to the product takes you on a trip to Japan and Peru in the blink of an eye, but also for the service that Morella gives you as soon as you enter the door and that accompanies with some cocktails out of the ordinary. I'm a resident and it's my favorite restaurant.

A great find. A Japanese/Peruvian restaurant. Serves well cooked and delicious food. From ceviche to excellent sushi. Marvellous atmosphere, service was brilliant. Special thanks to our server Morella who was attentive and really did us proud. Oh, and you get carnival dancers as well.

The customer service was alright however we waited more than 1hr and 20 for food most of it came out cold.

Lovely food! The croquettes were especially tasty. We visited on a Saturday, with a large group & Merella stood out when it came to service! Very lovely, kind-hearted woman who tended to our needs promptly. I highly recommend. :)

As somebody who is half Peruvian of a quarter mestizo descent AND of a quarter Japanese Peruvian descent, I think that what I have to say is pretty valid. That being said, Ayllu is top notch. I’ll be honest, I did not have high expectations of this place prior to coming. However, when I visited this restaurant for dinner all by myself on my 27th birthday, everything I had previously thought was suddenly blown away. Everything from the food, the service to the atmosphere was absolutely on point. I believe that the dishes which I ordered were good enough to actually be served in Peru and would be approved by the locals. It is sooooooo insanely difficult to find good/decent Peruvian food outside of Peru in general, let alone in the UK; Probably the country with the worst Peruvian food overall. But Ayllu now has my full respect and support. ¡Buen trabajo Ayllu! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. がんばって！💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

I actually ate here quite a while ago but i still think about how delicious the food was, so i had to write a review! The bao buns were sooo soft & fresh. The vibes of the place is very aesthetically pleasing, and there is plenty of seating. The only thing was it was a bit slow, but otherwise else incredible.

I had a good experience with the Tasting Menu; the food was simply amazing! The service was top-notch and truly elevated the whole evening. The only downside was the music—it was way too loud, which made it tough to hold a conversation! Nonetheless, that won’t stop me from coming back for lunch to try out different menus!

The food is so delicious, specially the Salmon Cazuela! We couldn’t have been looked after better by the lovely Francesca, who made us feel at home and helped choose our dishes and drinks. And also a shoutout to Nozim and their cocktail-making skills! We’ll be back!

Great quality and affordable food

My boyfriend and I recently dined here and it was such a lovely Japanese culinary experience. The menu had a wide variety of dishes and from what we ordered, everything was absolutely delicious! I can't wait to return for another meal

I was looking forward to come here for a birthday, I’ve watched a lot of reels on instagram that I was going to do too. I’ve booked supposedly for the bottomless brunch, when I arrived they informed me that it’s finished at 4pm. The waiter asked if we want Still or sparkling water, we asked for still and we’ve been told still water is finished so they can give us only tap (which I never drink). We ordered the sushi platter and we find a hair. We wanted to order the selection of mocho but of course they were finished. The toilet are really dirty and full of water on the floor… So far my experience is ruined and I am sorry about it as it looked a nice place

A lovely venue in a cool part of west London. Japanese and Peruvian mix. And a cracking wine bar on the top level. Ayllu was a buzz . And a good mixed menu it was my first time of trying menu and I was impressed food lite and not heavy. Lots of different options and easy to navigate. Staff really helpful and around you right away. A good wine selection. And cocktails list. I like a drink called’ an old fashion’ and this to me was made perfectly‘well done . We all had a great time & a nice dessert menu we were full and happy.

We booked Sunday brunch here. It was meant to be a reunion with friends and a relaxed Sunday but it was the most stressful lunch experience I've had. From the start our waitress kept stressing about the time and the 'rules' of the brunch. These were not made clear when booking. Basically, while the brunch is bottomless, the fine print apparently is that you can only order two dishes per person and only when 75% of the food the finished, can you order more!! It would have been better to either make this a buffet or move to a la carte because this makes no sense! Two of us arrived first and the waitress made us order for the whole table insisting we won't have time. This meant that when the others arrived, they had to eat what we ordered and not what they'd like. And we couldn't order more until we have finished the food. We tried to make this work since we just wanted to have a good time. But every time someone wanted to order a dish, they servers would remind us of the rule and in the end it just turned out to be a very rushed affair. They also want everyone at the table to order together as it's easier for the kitchen. I'm not sure they're thinking of what's better for the customers!! We felt a bit misled as the rules aren't clear or mentioned on the website and the waitress really failed to read the table. We actually went to the Union bar after to just unwind after this experience.

Great vegetarian 8 plate menu. We had the loveliest service from Morella, so warm, welcoming and hospitable.

You will love everything about Ayllu, from its fun location to the food and service. Ayllu has been around at least 7 years and it always gets better and we have never had a bad meal there. The sushi is fresh, which I like, and the portions are large. From the wonderful rice to the simple California roll, it is all delicious. The service is fast, but you are never rushed. If you want sushi and you are anywhere near Paddington, this is a must.

This is a hidden gem, a very secret and unusual but fun place to have a lunch or celebrate an occasion. This is a restaurant with a Brazilian Samba theme and a Peruvian tapas mix, which makes for an interesting combination with a senseless supply of alcohol.

Had a bottomless brunch booked for my birthday, and never even knew this place existed! We were greeted on arrival, shown to our table, hassle free. You could eat and drink as much as you wanted within the hour & 50. I couldn’t drink what was on the boozy part of the brunch and they were so helpful and accommodating allowing me to have a separate drink, and I didn’t have to pay extra. The entertainment was amazing, I really don’t know how they danced so fast! I was getting a stitch just watching them lol. We will definitely be back.

Amazing place! My mom amd I had an incredible experience here over the weekend. The food was delicious, our glasses were never empty and the service was outstanding. The forgotten table. Came for an 8 course tasking menu. After course 4, no food or drinks came out for over 45 mins. Sat here with drinks ordered but no luck in getting any

Food was great and full of flavour. Portions are small, so you will easily spend over 30 pounds per person just for food, unless you're a light eater. Service and atmosphere were ok.

Great music, we went for the bottomless brunch. The drinks were flowing! Highly recommend the lychee martini drink. The food was really nice and you could keep ordering food until your time limit is done. I did try a chicken dish and unfortunately that was a bit dry, but the rest was really good. Highly recommend the beef short rib and the salmon on crispy rice.We were looked after ny nazim and fredrick and they were amazing! We've already made our booking to come back

We have been there for the second time. This time for a Sunday brunch. It was still amazing. The food was great. The service was also top notch. We didn’t had to wait for top up. Our waiter Farah was super nice and helpful.

We went without a reservation and lucked out. We were honoured to have this particularly person as our server. He was actually more than that. We trusted him to put together an array of sushi that was beyond what we expected. Best sushi and cocktails we have had in a long time. One of the best area of Central London, very close to Hyde Park, Little Venice and Kensington gardens, if you are in that area I strongly recommend you to try out this beautiful restaurant..

Delicious sushi & other Japanese delights including soft shell crab & nigiri in Paddington Basin. They also do interesting tasting menus to try. Our waitress Morella was very helpful with selections and how much to order. Recommended Chardonnay was very good. Fort some people it might be a pricey restaurant but, to us, worth what it cost.

Food was sensational but service was poor. I chose this restaurant for my partner’s birthday because of the excellent reviews. I booked a couple of months in advance for the Macchu Pichu tasting menu and called closer to the date to confirm the menu. We turned up on time to a manager who gave us the Al a Carte Menu. Keep in mind, this was for my partners birthday so I kind of wanted it to be a nice surprise. So I said to the manager ‘we don’t need these menu’s’ alluding to, we have a tasting menu booked. The manager then said: ‘remind me what tasting menu you booked?!’ Surprise ruined. It got worse. Taco’s were served first, not the guacamole. I kindly asked the server ‘where is the Guacamole?’ And he said ‘the food comes out when it is ready’ I find this odd because I asked for a tasting menu - usually tasting menu’s are in order…. Order of what the chef chooses the menu to be. So does that mean if the chef makes the dessert it will come out first?????? Bizarre. Food was spectacular except the Taco’s which we could give or take. Service from the Myriad of various staff (stick to 1-2 staff per tasting menu, that is what I do at my pub) was poor. They didn’t keep our drinks filled, they had no idea what the order was re the tasting menu which I booked months in advance for my partners birthday which I repeatedly said was a special occasion. I then got the bill and asked (for the first time in my life) for service to be taken off. As the service was un-coordinated, dysregulated and frankly extremely disjointed and poor. I asked for the service charge to be taken off and the waiter gave us the side eye, even though he had served us twice and obviously had no idea how terrible the service was. I’ve been to PUBS where the service was excellent - I was expecting more from a highly rated establishment. I won’t be recommending to my friends. It is such a shame since the food is excellent and the chefs shouldn’t have to suffer due to poor front of house staff. Disappointed.

A Delightful Bottomless Brunch on a Rainy London Sunday We had a fantastic time enjoying a bottomless brunch on a rainy Sunday in London. Arriving at 12:30, we were promptly seated by the receptionist. The venue was a bit empty when we first got there, but that just meant we had more space to settle in. The rules of the bottomless brunch were clearly outlined on the menu: each guest could order two dishes per round, with a 90-minute limit. We ended up sampling most of the menu, and every dish was delicious. The standout items were the salmon rolls, slow-cooked beef short ribs, and the ceviche (both the salmon and seabass versions). The food arrived quickly, and the churros were a highlight—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and utterly delicious. We managed to get through 3-4 rounds of food. The quality of the food was so impressive that we were surprised the place wasn’t full when we looked around at 1:45 PM. However, by then, the room had started to fill, and by 2 PM, every table was taken. The atmosphere was lively, especially when the dancers appeared at 1:40 PM and 2:40 PM. They were fantastic, engaging the crowd and even teaching us some dance moves. A special touch was when they brought out a dessert with sparklers for my friend—it made our afternoon! For just £42 per person, we enjoyed an incredible meal and experience. I highly recommend this bottomless brunch to anyone, and I’m already planning my next visit!

Service was not great, no one came to get the food order until late, we were always out of water. Food was good but it was too loud. Should consider putting in sound dampeners.

Amazing, beautiful food, atmosphere and service

Very average. Had the taster menu. Some dishes were ok, some a bit bland. Seems to some out at random times. Service is pretty average, no explanation of any of the dishes. Had to chase up a couple of courses. No one checked if everything was ok. Laughed when 1 Churro for dessert came out. Atmosphere is pretty good.

The food and service were all really nice, we had a nice time, the dancers were amazing although they should get more space as it felt very cramped when they were dancing.

I went here for brunch, the food is great and so is the atmosphere. Service is top class, would highly recommend going here for a bottomless brunch!

Unfortunately, there was confusion from staff regarding the bill. I had prepaid for the brunch, however, they attempted to try and get us to pay for this again, despite explaining to three members of staff. The service was slow, and it seems as though they have far too many staff working in one area and limited within another. The concept of the brunch is great, however, does not meet the expectation, such a shame.

I can’t recommend this place more! Me and my family had dinner to celebrate my Dads birthday. The food was absolutely incredible, I had the sea bass which was so delicious, the entire table were very happy with their meals! The waitresses and waiters were very friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make our evening special. I’ve visited Paddington canal many times but I’d never tried this restaurant before, and now I can’t wait to go visit Allyu again!

Morella has been amazing , it was our first time in Ayllu restorant celebrating my husband birthday . She help us with choosing our food and drinks . Even brought us a cake with candle . The place is beautiful very romantic with dim light ❤️, the food is testy 😋. Will go back for sure again .

1. Food was lovely. I had a ceviche, sushi, and the short rib. The sushi wasn't the most fresh I've had but the other two dishes were excellent, the Mixto Ceviche was a standout for me - such rich and complex flavours with depth that I wouldn't normally expect from a ceviche dish. We also had churros which were perfect and not overly sweet. 2. Service was outstanding. We had a wonderful waiter named Morella and she really made the night special. I like to ask questions about the menu before deciding what to order and Morella did an incredible job at giving me full details on the dishes and helping make the right choices. I've honestly never had a waiter be so helpful in this way so I really wanted to make sure I highlighted her service. She made sure my friend got her birthday dessert in time before the kitchen closed and was just all around helpful. Thank you for a lovely evening!
