We went without a reservation and lucked out. We were honoured to have this particularly person as our server. He was actually more than that. We trusted him to put together an array of sushi that was beyond what we expected. Best sushi and cocktails we have had in a long time. One of the best area of Central London, very close to Hyde Park, Little Venice and Kensington gardens, if you are in that area I strongly recommend you to try out this beautiful restaurant..

Delicious sushi & other Japanese delights including soft shell crab & nigiri in Paddington Basin. They also do interesting tasting menus to try. Our waitress Morella was very helpful with selections and how much to order. Recommended Chardonnay was very good. Fort some people it might be a pricey restaurant but, to us, worth what it cost.

A Delightful Bottomless Brunch on a Rainy London Sunday We had a fantastic time enjoying a bottomless brunch on a rainy Sunday in London. Arriving at 12:30, we were promptly seated by the receptionist. The venue was a bit empty when we first got there, but that just meant we had more space to settle in. The rules of the bottomless brunch were clearly outlined on the menu: each guest could order two dishes per round, with a 90-minute limit. We ended up sampling most of the menu, and every dish was delicious. The standout items were the salmon rolls, slow-cooked beef short ribs, and the ceviche (both the salmon and seabass versions). The food arrived quickly, and the churros were a highlight—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and utterly delicious. We managed to get through 3-4 rounds of food. The quality of the food was so impressive that we were surprised the place wasn’t full when we looked around at 1:45 PM. However, by then, the room had started to fill, and by 2 PM, every table was taken. The atmosphere was lively, especially when the dancers appeared at 1:40 PM and 2:40 PM. They were fantastic, engaging the crowd and even teaching us some dance moves. A special touch was when they brought out a dessert with sparklers for my friend—it made our afternoon! For just £42 per person, we enjoyed an incredible meal and experience. I highly recommend this bottomless brunch to anyone, and I’m already planning my next visit!

Food was sensational but service was poor. I chose this restaurant for my partner’s birthday because of the excellent reviews. I booked a couple of months in advance for the Macchu Pichu tasting menu and called closer to the date to confirm the menu. We turned up on time to a manager who gave us the Al a Carte Menu. Keep in mind, this was for my partners birthday so I kind of wanted it to be a nice surprise. So I said to the manager ‘we don’t need these menu’s’ alluding to, we have a tasting menu booked. The manager then said: ‘remind me what tasting menu you booked?!’ Surprise ruined. It got worse. Taco’s were served first, not the guacamole. I kindly asked the server ‘where is the Guacamole?’ And he said ‘the food comes out when it is ready’ I find this odd because I asked for a tasting menu - usually tasting menu’s are in order…. Order of what the chef chooses the menu to be. So does that mean if the chef makes the dessert it will come out first?????? Bizarre. Food was spectacular except the Taco’s which we could give or take. Service from the Myriad of various staff (stick to 1-2 staff per tasting menu, that is what I do at my pub) was poor. They didn’t keep our drinks filled, they had no idea what the order was re the tasting menu which I booked months in advance for my partners birthday which I repeatedly said was a special occasion. I then got the bill and asked (for the first time in my life) for service to be taken off. As the service was un-coordinated, dysregulated and frankly extremely disjointed and poor. I asked for the service charge to be taken off and the waiter gave us the side eye, even though he had served us twice and obviously had no idea how terrible the service was. I’ve been to PUBS where the service was excellent - I was expecting more from a highly rated establishment. I won’t be recommending to my friends. It is such a shame since the food is excellent and the chefs shouldn’t have to suffer due to poor front of house staff. Disappointed.

Service was not great, no one came to get the food order until late, we were always out of water. Food was good but it was too loud. Should consider putting in sound dampeners.

Amazing, beautiful food, atmosphere and service

Very average. Had the taster menu. Some dishes were ok, some a bit bland. Seems to some out at random times. Service is pretty average, no explanation of any of the dishes. Had to chase up a couple of courses. No one checked if everything was ok. Laughed when 1 Churro for dessert came out. Atmosphere is pretty good.

Unfortunately, there was confusion from staff regarding the bill. I had prepaid for the brunch, however, they attempted to try and get us to pay for this again, despite explaining to three members of staff. The service was slow, and it seems as though they have far too many staff working in one area and limited within another. The concept of the brunch is great, however, does not meet the expectation, such a shame.

I love AZA and Nizom. The best waiters I have ever had in my life. Constantly topping up the drinks and being friendly. Definitely recommend coming here.

I can’t recommend this place more! Me and my family had dinner to celebrate my Dads birthday. The food was absolutely incredible, I had the sea bass which was so delicious, the entire table were very happy with their meals! The waitresses and waiters were very friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make our evening special. I’ve visited Paddington canal many times but I’d never tried this restaurant before, and now I can’t wait to go visit Allyu again!

Morella has been amazing , it was our first time in Ayllu restorant celebrating my husband birthday . She help us with choosing our food and drinks . Even brought us a cake with candle . The place is beautiful very romantic with dim light ❤️, the food is testy 😋. Will go back for sure again .

1. Food was lovely. I had a ceviche, sushi, and the short rib. The sushi wasn't the most fresh I've had but the other two dishes were excellent, the Mixto Ceviche was a standout for me - such rich and complex flavours with depth that I wouldn't normally expect from a ceviche dish. We also had churros which were perfect and not overly sweet. 2. Service was outstanding. We had a wonderful waiter named Morella and she really made the night special. I like to ask questions about the menu before deciding what to order and Morella did an incredible job at giving me full details on the dishes and helping make the right choices. I've honestly never had a waiter be so helpful in this way so I really wanted to make sure I highlighted her service. She made sure my friend got her birthday dessert in time before the kitchen closed and was just all around helpful. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Went for lunch, the food was great and there was a dance performance too which was good fun and people got involved. Aza provided great service and was very friendly. Overall highly recommended!

Attended bottomless brunch. Food was below average. Service was even worse, we weren’t offered a drink after 15 mins of sitting down, repeatedly had to try and face waiters attention to order food or top glass up. Venue is very small in the basement ofa bigger/better bar/restaurant with an all female crowd. Not worth the money paid. Bathroom could do with a clean. An elderly Asian gentleman, who I assume was the manager, was very unapproachable and did not seem happy to be there in anyway. Will not return again in the future

Got turnt down at the door, I was told by them they had no seats available, so I checked online and could still make a reservation... Not to mention I went inside to use the toilet and saw it was pretty empty, but the atmosphere was really nice. It's not reservation only but ensure you have a reservation so they don't reject you unreasonably aswell

Really nice place, happy I discovered it for myself. I’m very often at Paddington waiting for a train and was looking for a place to have lunch from time to time. Food is tasty, atmosphere and restaurant design is lovely, staff are great. Ordered sashimi and sushi roll. There was a little confusion at the beginning about a drink I ordered but overall all was good. Will come back

We had a wonderful evening at Ayllu. We chose the Cuzco tasting menu, and each plate was fantastic. Our waitress was friendly and very professional! We finished off with churros and divine Pinku cocktails 🍸 I'm already looking forward to going back!

We were very excited to come to Ayllu on our date, but we went out with very mixed feelings. Food was even tasty, unfortunately, we didn’t have a chance to try the desserts.. from the moment we asked for the menu to the moment we were actually offered to order it has been an hour and we weren’t interested anymore. The restaurant was not 100% full, but the staff still didn’t manage to serve the tables. It took forever to order anything, the waitress lady was very kind, but not able to do all the work herself. We knew it’s going to be an evening with a DJ and Samba, but the music was just too loud. It was impossible to talk, we were sat down just under the speaker, it only changed at the end when the group of ladies complained about the noise. The Samba dancers were lovely, we liked that. Overall, it doesn’t really seem that the restaurant manager wants to earn money. We would spend much more if given a chance. We ordered a bottle of wine and it has been poured very generously and we weren’t asked to taste it. We ordered beef baos, ended up getting the chicken ones. We haven’t complained, just ordered more with beef again.. nobody came to check if we need anything even once. Now I think we shouldn’t be paying for the service, but wanted to have a nice time on a Saturday night, and we’re not difficult people. Rather won’t recommend it to our friends and won’t be back again.

Tasting menu does not match the reality of the price. If you see a menu for 65 pounds, then know that it is not true, so you will need to order another menu, for the same price, in addition, as it goes as for one person (why?). The question is why everywhere, in the adverts, in the menu of the restaurant, one price is written, but in fact, the price is twice as much. You just had to write that one menu can not be ordered for 2 people, and it will cost 130 and not 65, and this situation would not be. I liked the staff, only because of them I put 1 star, otherwise I would have put 0.

Delicious fusion of Peruvian & Japanese Food. As a vegetarian, I was satisfied with the options they had. More of a business lunch vibe than casual.

We had a lovely time and enjoyed our meal. The waitress was very kind and the food was amazing! we recommend the rainbow roll and the beef tataki!

Hidden away in the Paddington Basin, this place is worth checking out. Really flavoursome meals .

It's been a while since I asked for the menu again during the meal to order more food 😂 the beef tataki and hamachi ceviche in particular were stupendous. Amazing pisco sour. Foods are not testy at all, restaurantt looks okay but nothing else to be honest.

Was so disappointing! Food quality was terrible especially given the pricing , tasted not fresh and not tasty either, such a let down. Sushi tasted old and dry and meat bbq cut was poor quality too despite the high pricing. Atmosphere also nothing like shown on instagram and was unexciting. Location in building not great and close to the toilets in a basement which puts you off as you go in already. Would not be going back.

Loved the restaurant the vibe was so nice recommend for bdays. We accidentally dropped food but they were so understanding and gave us another one. We were downstairs it was quite loved that. The best part was the service especially from Morella she was amazing and recommended me a lovely drink.

We enjoyed the brunch, great music from the DJ, the samba was a fun element and the service was top draw. The food was so so, I wouldn’t say great but good enough for a fun brunch. The churros were probably my favourite part. One problem was that they only allow each person to have the same drink for the free flow for the 90mins. I feel like it wouldn’t be a logistical or financial problem for them to allow a change in drinks, many people don’t want the same thing for the whole meal. Just thought I’d mention it. The service was excellent though.

This is a bachelorette party restaurant. The music is loud and the place has a very in-your-face vibe. If that is your aim, I think you will enjoy it. For my self, I thought the focus was going to be the Peruvian/Japanese fusion food. I did not find the food impressive. I was underwhelmed when the sushi chef put the most generic tuna and salmon nagiri on a “chefs choice” as 2 of the 3 varieties. The guacamole was OK, poor waiter spent 4 minutes with 2 forks making it in front of us for some reason. It did seem like the staff was working hard, but they were too quiet to hear in the environment.

Traveled in from the US on business and decided to check this place out. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service. My server, Morella, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and offered suggestions. I was able to read my kindle without having to worry about loud restaurant noises which was great. I would absolutely recommend.

My daughter celebrated my 50th birthday at Ayllu. We had bottomless brunch. Though not much options, we still enjoyed the ambiance that included Salsa 💃 Staff were very welcoming and service was on tip toes .. very quick

Came here for a friend’s birthday. Good atmosphere, food is ok and portions are small. The service was slow and un-attentive , one waiter spilled half of my drink on my lap, she apologised and left without cleaning. Another waiter came after a bit to clean and apologise, offering me a new cocktail. I also asked them to have a candle on my friend’s dessert and when it arrived there was nothing on top, ages later mine arrived and that the happy birthday message. Just a bit messy tbh. It wasn’t a bad experience but I won’t rush to go back.

Very disappointed birthday brunch, it wasn’t bottomless as we were charged for additional food even if it was in the time and on the menu. Waiter literally told us that she is not here to take orders.. like ? Then please appointment your colleague to us but don’t present yourself like this on front of guests. I booked this place because I thought it will have a great atmosphere of samba dancers in between, however they lasted for a minute and didn’t do any show. The DJ was great though but couldn’t make up for the unmotivated waiter, late food, long waiting time and extra charges.

Great food and service. Good selection of freshly made sushi plates ands cocktails. The restaurant has a cosy atmosphere with warm lighting, featuring rich dark green walls and plush banquette seating. The service was perfect and the waitress was polite and informative. My favourite was the crispy chicken and slow cooked beef Bao Buns and they were delicious. I would definitely return to this restaurant and the prices are reasonable.

Clearly a four star restaurant, could be five but somehow I need to reserve that for extra super special. I think what holds me back is it being in a basement. Basics were all very good ie decor, welcome and service. Bottomless weekend brunch for £37.50 (or £55 with booze) was excellent value for money. So here we have Japanese/Peruvian fusion; small dishes delicately prepared and presented; just keep on going two plates at a time! Also to our suprise there was a DJ set going on too. For an oldie just a tad too loud but in the end nice vibes. Here's the kicker though, at Sunday brunch I don't expect Brazilian carnival dancers, but hey why not? Rio de Janeiro arrived and let's dance. We're in a basement, could be any time and let's get the party started! So honestly, great brunch here today.

Overall it was okay. Some of the food was really tasty, but it wasn't incredible. We had the vegetarian tasting menu- which in all fairness was very good value for £30. They haven't quite got the serving right, and they need to really rethink how they are presenting the foods and what cutlery they are giving you to use. They need some asian soup spoons for one, and anything with a broth or sauce that requires a spoon should be served in individual bowls rather than in a bowl to share between you, for you to decant onto a plate. It would have been nice for the waiting staff to be a bit more forthcoming with information on the concept behind the asian/peruvian fusion, and a small explanation with each dish. I probably wouldn't go back, but it was good value.

Appalling service during bottomless brunch with a pushy head waiter insisting we settle our bill before we had even got the final dishes we had ordered. Food was cold and we had to constantly flag down the wait staff to be able to order the next round. And then when it was time for dessert we had to wait half an hour (and they didn't even bring the full order). Additionally, were basically forced to pay the bill when we were still eating dessert (we had not even asked for the bill and yet they had put it on the table and come with the card machine twice at that point). When we decided not to pay the 12.5% discretionary charge, we were asked to give reasons why... only for the waiter to then try and argue with us that food wasn't delayed or cold or that service was just not what you'd expect for a £37 food-only brunch. Shame because the place was nice and the entertainment was a good touch.

Vi bookede bord samme dag til kl. 18.30, og ankom til tiden. Vi måtte dog vente en halv time, fordi køkkenet ikke var klar…! Herefter skulle vi ned i kælderen. Der var koldt og mørkt, kun små lamper. Vi blev tilbudt vand - til 5£ , fandt vi ud af!! Maden var ikke særlig spændende, og kødet var ikke specielt varmt. Små portioner og mega dyrt.

Ok, let's start with the good…. - Lovely decor - Starters were yummy and so were the Chiros with chocolate - They had had some professional samba dancers, who brought the vibes - really nice touch The not so good…… We had a table of 16 people for bottomless brunch for the 90mins. - The first issue was it took a good 15-20mins before the first ‘starters’ come out. Also we were told that everyone had to have the same drink which was a bit disappointing to me. - One waiter was assigned to our table which meant it took a really long time to for the food to come out (in relation to a bottomless brunch - it wasn’t really a bottomless brunch in that sense) At the end of the day, I don’t mind paying the money for boozy brunches, but the food and service NEED to be good. The service wasn’t good at all. I felt they were trying to make as much money as they could by (in my opinion) delaying the food to come out and taking so long to take the orders and bring them out. Lovely place, the the customer experience needs to be improved upon...

Really nice place! The samba show from Saturday night was fantastic, the music is not too loud, the Machu Picchu tasting menu was delicious (if you usually eat A LOT, it might not be enough, but for my partner and I was just the right quantity). Also, Morella was the sweetest and very helpful ❤️ and all the people who work here are great

The food is great, but the state of the toilet is disappointing. It smells worse than a public toilet, and one of the hand dryers has been broken for over a year. I hope the lack of cleanliness in the toilet doesn't reflect the hygiene standards in the kitchen.

We really enjoyed bottomless brunch here. The food was very good, although I would not recommend it to vegetarians since there were only 4-5 vegetarian options in the menu. We only had food, no alcoholic drinks, so can not comment about that. We really enjoyed the dancing show and the service was fast.

WWE had bottomless brunch, the food and drinks were worth every penny. Our host Morella and Aza was amazing and super friendly. The food and drinks were amazing, the samba show was amazing. Would definitely come back again as a bigger group.

We chose a Friday night date night and it didn’t let us down! As we worked through the menu, the lovely Alfred ensured we were looked after and enjoyed his best recommendations. We couldn’t recommend this place more and already can’t wait to return. Thank you for a lovely evening :)

SO good! How this place has only 4.1 stars is beyond me. Food was delicious, quick service, great bevs. Staff was lovely, music was fun, atmosphere was great. Underrated!

The meal was amazing. We got the Cuzco tasting menu and every single thing on it was a hit. We booked for our anniversary and the server was so sweet to us! The only thing I'd mention is that it's pricy. Not upset about it because every single thing we were served was delicious, but it's worth keeping an eye on.

This Saturday my friend and I celebrated my birthday at Ayllu! We had bottomless brunch - various tapas and unlimited Prosecco. It was a great experience: a very beautiful place, nice music, delicious food and a fun performance. A huge thank you to Alfred! He had such a positive energy and constantly paid attention to our table, ensuring we had the food we ordered and drinks. Strongly recommend!

Great food and service. We had the ribs and beef burger with a side of grilled veg and a salad. All excellent. A bit on pricey side but overall a good experience.

Lunch time so it was rather quiet but this gem is a bit hard to find as it’s hiding under another bar. Our waiter Alfred was brilliant and shared some insights into the origins of the menu. Who knew Peruvian corn would be such a revelation?! Food was fresh and good quality. I’d say it would’ve been 5 stars if there’d been a little spice or sauce on the tuna tacos. I’d definitely go back though and eat my way through the rest of the menu.

Last weekend we attended brunch we arrived early and sat upstairs and had a fantastic cocktail, we was then shown downstairs by the hostess. The food was amazing, re-ordering arrived promptly and there was lots of choice. Our glasses remained full by the attentive staff. We was lucky to watch two performances of Samba dancing Edita and Aneta were great!!! All of our party got up to dance with them. We were there celebrating our daughter’s 18th birthday and Edita and Aneta came out dancing with the desert and sparklers, what a lovely touch to the end a great meal. Would highly recommend coming here for brunch or even the regular menu the food and service was impeccable.

We’ve got an amazing brunch today, the slow-cooked short beef rib and pulled pork taco are definitely elevated!! And the staff were fantastic thanks to the waitress who opened our table, Erick and Morelos. The samba show and Music were incredible👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Definitely a nice place for a bottomless brunch. Very good music and entertainment. Food was of good quality. Service was mostly fine besides one waitress who when we asked to order more food scowled at us and told us to “just eat your food” even though we were told to order more once your dishes arrive. We found her extremely rude and condescending speaking to us as if we were her five year old children. Besides that, a very nice place but her attitude was enough to put us off from coming back.
