Went today with my 3 yr old after using google to search local soft plays, found this and google opening times advised it was open. Got there, walked in and there was nobody around, could of raided the till and made myself a coffee but tried to find someone as my son wanted to use the soft play. Opened the door to the gym and there was a lone girl in there who looked at me as if I dressed as one of the village people (i wasn't) and said the soft play is "closed". Clearly her or her bosses have never had to explain to a child why he can't use the facilities. Its 2022 guys, update your internet details and sort the place out. Rubbish

It's OK place to take your baby and young toddler. The food is reasonably priced. Definitely suitable for parent and mums to meet up with their babies. Not a bad place.

Lovely little place that was recommended by a friend. They have a bouncy castle, play kitchenx2, play house, little climbing frame and slide and soft blocks. Ball pit has been removed and they are following covid rules well. Easy to distance from others too. Food and drinks are good but only have limited staff so be patient! :)

We come probably once every couple of weeks and never disappointed. Big play area for the little ones and rarely too crowded, amazing tasting coffee and cozy log fire!

Avoid! Very dirty and smelly! Didn’t appear to have been cleaned in a very long time. The concept is good but really poor standard once inside.

I recently visited average joes after not going for a fair few months as at first I just found it a bit boring, plain, cold, and more attention was needed to the actual structure of the building. As much as the owner proceeds to say it’s a coffee shop second and a gym first. He was trying to encourage the younger children market to come to his coffee shop/gym. Anyway upon arrival it was very busy. BUT it seems they have a 90 minute limit so a lot of ladies and their babies left. Much quieter and I noticed the equipment had been changed including a new ball pit much better. Now I would actually consider a party there. It’s a lot better. Warmer and safer :)

Only been there twice, but it's already one of my favourite places to chill out with coffee and cake while our young daughter plays in the next room full of play things. The décor needs to be seen to be believed - upcycled old furniture and repurposed household items... Would definitely recommend a visit!

This is my first time coming here and I was amazed be the decoration and service. It's a bit hard to find but when you do you'll be amazed by the decor. Don't be fooled by the name " Average joe's" since this place is anything but average! The decoration give an old western look to it and they have used special beautiful lights and used old miner materials to create chairs, tables and more. If you want to sea the true beauty of the place you have to come yourself. The service here is amazing, if your order a drink it will be made in literally 3 minutes. This place is used for a cafe and a play house for birthday parties.

I've been here twice now and both times were great - the staff are lovely and friendly and the play area is perfect for my 8m old and 3 year old. The drinks and snacks are reasonably priced and the seating area is comfy and homely. I've been saying for a while how there's a lack of facilities like this I'm Loughborough for younger children/babies - this is just what we needed! A proper little hidden gem. Just one thing to note though - the first time we went the guy said it was £2 per child, I asked if that was the price even for my 8m old and he then said it would only be £1 for her. The next time we went, the lady said there was no charge for the 8m old. So might be worth just making sure all staff are aware of the pricing structure for consistency. Not a major issue though, and certainly hasn't put me off returning!

Had a lovely visit with my two girls at Average Joes. We went for a birthday party and it was great to be able to enjoy great coffee for me and let the girls enjoy the party. The bouncy castle and ball pool were a great hit! The decor is what proper coffee shops used to be like, comfy seats and a cosy atmosphere! With the added bonus of a play area for children, Will be returning again.
