Always order from here in evenings , great food , staff very friendly . Not sure what everyone is moaning about ? But our experience is great .

Food was Fantastic. Top quality ingredients, cooked perfectly. Staff amazing can't wait for the next time. And will be making sure its not too long.

Yesterday I ordered food delivered for 4 people and received information that it would be delivered within half an hour. The food arrived after almost an hour and a half, all cold, and someone must have sat on it because everything was flattened. After a telephone conversation with the supposedly manager, he told me to come to his place and we would talk. Today I was there and found out that they will not refund me the money for the food that ended up in the trash anyway. I was offered a discount on my next order. I will definitely not order anything from them again.

Ordered a child’s fish and chips!! When opening it nothing like the menu small ends of the fish and HONESTLY the smell. I had to try a bit before dishing it up BUT I’m glad I did…. The smell put me off but the flavour was nothing on the smell. It had to go in the bin… I have been up twice in the night upset tummy and this morning thank god it was only me and only one small bit of the Children’s Cod and chips…

Most pathetic chicken burger ever. Tiniest thin bit of chicken in a big bun. Nothing like the picture. Called them to complain and they was rude to me and didn’t offer refund/replacement. Paid £7.50 for chicken burger, chips and drink and the burger was an absolute shambles. Never ordering from there again.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! First off delivered my food after 1hr and 30mins and the chicken was mouldy!!!! 🤢 phoned and complained and the driver brought me the same order after waiting another hour, and they got my order wrong!!! Phoned them AGAIN and they said I will get a free order next time I order. Went in there today and requested my FREE order and they played ignorant and said they don’t know what I’m talking about!!!! The lady got rude and raised her voice to me and my partner, called my partner ‘little man’ even though he towered her!!! The language they used was disgusting and was laughing!!!! WOULD NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN!! And to be honest, iv always had delivery never been in the place, but it was filthy in there!!!

Have been ordering from here on and off since 2018, and it has got worse. Took hour and half delivery and was cold

I had already stopped ordering over the phone due to bad manors. And ignoring instructions. But I went in yesterday and asked for freshly grilled lamb donor that’s really soft with no colour on it. They refused telling me the pre cooked in the pot is soft. I explained that I don’t like it how they do it. He picked a piece out that looked soft and said see it’s fine as it is. Only option. So I had it: and put the whole lot in the bin. £7.50 meat/chips. Where other places charge £5.50 and are much better. They refused to make it to suit me. So I’ll NEVER RETURN to this shop bow Rude staff. Expensive, and mediocre food at best. So much for the customer is always right.

Excellent chicken kebabs and really nice polite owner, tried others but keep driving back to this one for the kebabs!! Always busy which is a good sign too. Well done guys.

Nothing more to say, fish and chips and reasonable price point - cooked fresh and delicious! Not overly greasy.

This fish and chip shop has been open for about seven months and this is the first time that we have tried it. I ordered a large cod and my wife and a medium cod. We shared a portion of chips which was quite sufficient for the two of us. The cod was cooked to perfection and the chips were very good too! Very nice, clean shop. The team of staff, run by Timmy were friendly and pleasant. Well worth a visit!

Under new ownership for a few years now old owners boasted they were best chippie in Essex but I was never that keen however I would have to say they could now be a contender I am a former chef myself so my standards are high and this chippie meets them.Take away food only all usual chippie menu plus pizzas kebabs etc all good. They also deliver can get busy on some days but you can phone through orders.When we get our take away we have some that want Chinese and some want Indian which are also nearby so we tend to phone orders through and collect all together.

I have been to this chippy, on many occasions. It has vastly improved, since the new management took over a couple of years ago now. I am a bit of a traditionalist, to honest. On my last visit there on the 10th September (Saturday), I had large Cod (£5-20) and medium chips (£1-70). I had to wait for the large cod to be cooked (8 minutes, I was told). The man behind the counter said because I had to wait, he would only charge me for a medium cod (What great customer service!). When I got the food home (my son and wife both had cod and chips as well), I found that I had a mountain of freshly cooked chips that were absolutely delicious and a massive piece of cod that was also delicious, my wife however said her fish was dry, but is quite hard to please with takeaways ( my son was impressed however). In conclusion this is a great chippy that provides great food at a great price (and they also do pizzas that I am sure your kids would like) Very impressed, thank you!)

Wide menu choice. Fresh food, plentiful and quick friendly service. Delivery is also very quick if you don't want to collect. The kebabs (shish) are marinated and taste fantastic. The venue is ideally situated in the heart of Aveley and parking for a few minutes opposite is usually no problem at all.

Order a kebab but I think I just got a box of oil and fat never again avoid at all cost or u will have a heart attack BEWARE FOOD NOT GOOD ANYMORE

Nos encanta esta fish and chips". La comida es siempre recién hechas y buenas patatas fritas. los pinchos de los donantes son geniales y muy generosas porciones. Muy extenso menú, así que hay mucho para elegir. El personal es amable. Nos parece que siempre vienen con una botella de coca-cola y Pepsi. Nos gusta la bromas que pasa entre el personal.

Soy local y creo que sus fichas son horribles. Me pareció que el personal no está mal, pero la última vez que fui allí era hace unos dos años.

Este es un sitio que venda pescado con patatas fritas. Es agradable.

The portions were freshly cooked good sized and reasonably priced. Choice available either eat in or take away

We bought cod and chips from here the other evening the cod was definitely not cod but a poor alternative the chips were rubber so all together our meal was rubbish we will not go there again I'd rather take the car to belhus for better quality food

Staff fairly rude and not polite, think they have an attitude problem at times.Chips just aint good enough.Only go th ere coz it is local.If you want good chips go to Rainbows in Tilbury.

It's local and I'm lazy so I'm reasonable happy to get nice chips 75% of the time! they do a nice vegetarian burger every time it have it, my family like the chicken kebab, if you phone for a delivery make sure you get them to repeat the order back to you, otherwise there is a good chance it'll be wrong. Quite often lately they have had no driver to deliver our order and a driver they sometimes use looks dirty most of the time, once giving me my change from his pocket the coins were mixed with tobacco.....nice

Fish dry chips over cooked . Poor attitude from some of the staff . My advice get in your car and drive.

Sus pinchos son uno de los mejores que he comido en un "fish and chips", son parte fresca y un buen tamaño, patatas fritas son sabrosos y ensaladas frescas. A veces tuvimos que esperar pero eso es sólo para las fichas para ser cocinados que es normal.

esperaba que esperar más de veinticinco minutos para nuestra comida dijo "estamos esperando para patatas frescas". otros seis clientes a pie, orden, conseguir su comida y dejar.Luego nos dijeron "no haya sido un error" es pésimo servicio. Un proceso de selección de personal y luego rraining podría ayudar pero dudo. pescado era normal, y las patatas frescas de error estaban fríos. Evitar como el lugar y ve a South Ockendon, más opciones, menos tan hostil personal y patatas fritas verdosos
