Pasticceria francese vicino a kings cross a Londra. Qualità delle brioches eccezionale, ampia scelta sia di dolce che salato. Prezzo alto ma giustificato dalla qualità sopraffina. Servizio gentile e alla mano.

A lovely little cafe with genuine staff and pastries. Me and my wife had a great breakfast here. Fresh made orange juice and the coffee was very good. As an eating in customer I would have preferred non take away cups.

Een topzaak oor ontbijt en lunch. Zeer vriendelijk personeel en uitermate heerlijke broodjes en croissants. Er zijn een paar zitjes binnen en buiten. Achterin de zaak worden de croissants en andere gerechten gemaakt. De kwaliteit is uitzonderlijk goed. Sowieso de lekkerste amandel croissants die je je kunt voorstellen. Een absolute aanrader voor wie in dit deel van Londen verblijft.

Great choice of yummy pastries for every taste. Also the drink choice is wide and top quality including fresh orange juice.

I enjoyed a fresh baked croissant that was stuffed with thin slices of honey baked ham and Emmental cheese; the man behind the counter offered to toast it for me or you can choose to have it non toasted, 4.95. The Croque Monsieur, a ham/cheese baked sandwich looked delicious for breakfast too, as well as all of the pastries on display. There is limited seating along a small counter inside and a few chairs outside.

I stumbled upon this bakery whilst waiting for my train back up north from Kings X. The bakery is just a short distance from the station. All I can say is wow. After trying MANY cakes on a weekly basis these are some of the best, freshest, most divine morsels I have ever encountered. The young lad behind the counter recommended the croissant dipped in chocolate with a cream filling and pistachios. It was spectacular. So much so I went back inside to speak to the owner to tell her just how impressed I was. If I am ever in London this will 100% be on my list every time. I may even just perhaps drive to London specifically for this. It is worth it! Wonderful french pastries, lovely young man and a delightful owner.

This is a super ‘boulangerie’ for croissant, almond croissant & pain au chocolat among other delicious things! and the people are wonderful too

We had breakfast here everyday while in London. Croissants are amazing. Not only does it taste great, each one is freshly made and perfectly shaped. My favourite pastry is Paris-Brest. Donut shaped croissant with almond topping and filled with hazelnut cream. Crispy outside and soft inside with nutty sweet savoury flavour. All the texture and flavours merge so well together. The chef showed me a bigger croissant which she had made for her own lunch. It was perfectly shaped too. Not all chefs enjoy their bakes so much. Shows how skilled and passionate she is.

If you are looking for a good bakery to have a light bite with coffee, Aux Pains de Papy is the place to be. It is well known for its Croissants, which I myself loved too and the raisin bread was just too good. It is just a 5-minute walk away from Kings Cross station. Would highly recommend a visit.

Best pastries and croissants in London, fast and excellent service. We'll definitely be back soon.

It really is an unbelievably good pastry - I had the almond pain aux chocolat and it blew my mind. The pastry was both crisp and chewy, sweet and buttery with a little salt. Still warm from the oven, the chocolate was molten, and there was loads of almond paste, flaked almonds and a faint dusting of powdered sugar. Wow. Lovely staff too. Thank you.

Autentisk og meget lækkert men desværre ikke plads til siddende gæster på stedet. No seating kun take away. Ærgerligt .

The croissant was absolutely amazing. Talked to the pastry chef and other owner and they could not be any nicer. Will hit it again before I leave town.

Dashing, late in the day, my hunger spied almond croissant. I had to go in. Monsieur 'Gorgeous & Charming', declared his croissants 'the best!' And he was right - the best I've had bar nowhere. Sadly, I'm not often in the area . . . but if you are, don't hesitate to choose this gem of an establishment. Completely delicious.

We had an almond one and the daughters a normal croissant. They were amazing and very fresh. Very friendly staff. Will visit again.

We were looking for a place to eat some breakfast and stumbled upon this bakery - we were served by the friendliest cashier and treated like royalty - combine that with the fantastic sandwiches and toasts and you have great breakfast experience - definitely recommended!

Just lovely. The staff are full of charm and smiles. Every treat - from the ham and cheese sandwich warmed through on the grill, to the almond croissant - is indulgent and so satisfying, especially with their balanced cappuccino. At no more than a five-minute walk from Kings X, it is well worth a visit for breakfast or take away. Our favourite bakery!

Excellente boulangerie proche de la gare King's Cross Super accueil Délicieuses viennoiseries, meilleures que dans certaines boulangeries françaises!! Très bon café et jus de fruits.

Rather than viist a chain bakery in St Pancras, (it is 8 minutes walk away) I took my daughter here to coffee and cake (pain au chocolat in her case, pain au raisin in mine.) As always, beautifully made and carefullly served. Thsi time I ordered their bread (the visit I was impressed by their in-house baguettes). It is super pain au levain, as good as you will get in France or Portugal

Just finished the best Croque Monsieur I have eaten in a very very long time - simply perfect. Very friendly faces too and now need to find time to back to this cafe when in London next.

The power of a genuine smile is the seed of quality service. Glad to see that there are still places like Aux Pains de Papy in London where one can experience good truthful service. On top of that the chocolate/almond croissant and hot chocolate is great. Starbucks, Pret, Nero and the likes should send their trainees to learn by example. We would all start our days in greater spirits. He who sees, he sees!
