Improved since last time. Looked more roomy and airey inside. Fish and chips though getting more dear every year were perfect. Really enjoyed then. Will be back again. Seemed more on the menu too not just fish. Had burgers too etc

Really enjoyed the house special fried rice..delicious and my friend had king prawn curry which was also tasty.portions and price great.will definitely be returning.

We booked the function room 28th April for our mams wake and we were blown away with the hospitality the food was superb the staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome, the food was laid out perfectly and the quality of the food was lush everyone complimented on it can I thank the manager and manageress and all the amazing staff for everything yous were brilliant I can honestly say if anyone wants to book a function room phone the sundial you will be glad you did, we were. Thanks again to everyone

Nice bar restaurant. Food was good value for money. Lovely view looking out over the Tyne. If you time it right you can watch the ferry go out

I went to Life of Riley on Sunday/Monday morning 4th/5th August 2024. We used to call it Spiker Riley as in the past we have had attempts to spike our drinks. The other night we were there till 02:30 and the security in there were absolutely fantastic. One guy inside spotting any trouble and two guys on the door responding. The guys were professional polite and strong when required.My wife and myself felt totally safe as there is the usual mix of Bumpers on Hairy Mikers night. Excellent work guys.
