Waste of time. Don’t order from this restaurant.

Food was piping hot, but Not authentic as they claim. The prawn madras had way to much cumin in overpowering taste. The lamb curry was swimming in oil. The prawn biryani was cooked in old oil one could instantly smell the pungent old oil smell. Naan bread was burnt on the edges. Expensive takeaway mostly went in the bin as was unedible. Ordered first time as reviews looked good. But probably left by people who dont understand spices. As a restaurant owner myself I was left disappointed.

First time ordering from here and the food was amazing! Was a tad late but it is Ramadan & the restaurant were lovely. Will definitely order from here again...food was ace! Had chicken masala, pilau rice, keema naan & popodom....every thing ordered was delicious

I was really impressed by the delivery time as the order arrived 15 mins early. I have enjoyed the meal thoroughly. Especially the Dal and Biryani reminded me of India. I also found the naan bread and chicken curry delicious. Would definitely order again.

Terrible experience with this restaurant. The food was over 30 minutes late originally then half the order was missing. Eventually arrived another 40 mins later after 2 phone calls to them. First man on the phone offered no explanation or apology. The delivery man offered a 20% discount on our next order but we will never order from here again so that was pointless. Avoid!

They did call to explain my delivery driver was late. The person I spoke to was very polite and nice. The food was good. Nice vegetarian option. Would definitely recommend them

Food was cold, soggy small portion of chips, awful biryani no flavour terrible sweet curry with veg out of a tin!! Then the Chana masala tasted liked baked beans where youv popped in too much chilli. Awful and it was late and had to direct them here and they told me off when I collected just use the postcode...lazy!

I asked for tandoori leg they gave me a breast which I can’t eat. Also I ordered coke but no coke in bag. Not the beet food either.

Food was tasty, but unfortunately had a couple of instances with late delivery time. Staff are always helpful and apologetic just a shame the delivery time was not as expected!

Very good food but I wish the predicted delivery times were accurate. I phoned the kitchen when it still hadn't arrived ten minutes late and they said it would be a further 10minutes. 18mins later it arrived. In total it was 28mins late.

I really like this takeaway. The food is always good and delivered hot (although I live around the corner, so I should be!) The only disappointment is that they used to have allergens printed on their menu so I could easily identify vegan options, but they’ve taken that away now, so I always order the same ‘safe’ dishes!

I’ve been ordering food from Authentic curry pot for almost a year now since I moved in the area and thought I will try this place, let me tell you I was not disappointed ! Best Curry restaurant in East London ! the personnel is great and very helpful and the food even come early sometimes which is amazing ! recommend a lot !

Came 25 mins early than I had ordered (for 6:30) which was super inconvenient - don’t give the option for a time if it’s not eligible. When I started to eat it my prawns were not properly cooked and very fishy smelling meaning I couldn’t eat them. Also a very watery Korma sauce. Very disappointed

We ordered a Lamb Tikka Masala (very hot) and got a mild Chicken Tikka Masala. Moreover the food was mediocre

Absolutely delicious! Arrived really quickly, order correct with driver socially distancing. Although I'm full, I feel like ordering more it was sooo good!

Foods really tasty, but had to heat it up due to the fact it took over an hour to be delivered. But the delivery driver was lovely very apologetic and gave us money off for being so late. I would order from them again but maybe just not on a Friday night when everyone wants curry.

But the food quality was terrific

Food always tastes really good! Especially the Curry Pot Fish Bhuna with Talapia or Monkfish. Food is always fresh and arrives hot and well packaged. Portion size is good too and I'd recommend trying the chicken samosas as a starter if you're a meat eater. Always satisfying and always on time

Food was decent, nice biryani nice naan, but saag paneer was quite bland. Delivery very fast.

Chicken was overcooked and tough, sauce wasn’t very flavourful, they also missed part of my order and had to get it refunded.

Food quality and restaurant service have been marked down due to spillage of madras sauce all over bag when delivered.

The butter chicken was more of a korma which want great, the veg curry had barely any flavour and was bland to the point we had to add salt, chilli etc into the curry which defeats the point of a takeaway. The aloo bhorta was undercooked and tasted off to the point we had to bin the dish.

The food was on time and was piping hot. The tandoori mix grill was absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend it. The delivery driver was very quick and polite at the door. This is now my go to for indian and I'd highly recommend it

After delaying the delivery ever 15min and made me wait for almost 2h I Never received the food!!

Food arrived 75 mins late, So I waited for it for 2 hours in total, after being told 3 times it was on its way. When it arrived it was cold & inedible.

Food was horrible. Butter Chicken was sugary sweet. It could very well qualify to be a dessert. Chicken was rubbery and smelled like old chicken. Roti was was wheat made ( the whole point of not ordering naan was to have a wheat roti) chicken tikka was ok-ish.

I ordered kalak paneer but i didnt see any cheese cube in it, and it left me wondering if i was given the right dish. It tasted okay though. My issue was with the started chicken tikka bites which were very dry. It was my first time ordering from this restaurant but it might be the last time since meat is done juicy but overcooked to dry. I also ordered bhindi baji and that was nice. All food items were hot and i received my order on time. Overall, medium okay experience.

The curry, stated as medium hot was so hot that it was inedible, comparable to a phall or hot vindaloo. The naan bread was missing from the order.

I don't know why I still order from this place. It's a lottery I don't win. In 2 years it's now not worth ordering from. The food hadn't been kept hot enough from kitchen to my door. The chicken was in such big pieces only an obese person could take it. I don't order food to have to then cut it up. If this Pot Bhuna (Hot) was actually hot which it wasn't even remotely I'd just send it back in a restaurant. If I was a person from the chefs country I'd throw it on the floor in front of them.

Food quality was good but they haven't sent me spoon for biryani and ice-cream how can someone eat Ice cream without spoon. Don't mind it I just shared my experience. Thanks will ordered food again

I had high hopes but the king prawn Massala were rubbery and chewy, also had a little off smell which is worrying. the starter which included three pieces of lamb and a lamb chop that were inedible! The place must of burned down while cooking the lamb as it was literally black. Sad to say it’s back to the more expensive places and now I know why!

Saag paneers was bland! The puris tasted like dough and abit too thick

He estado haciendo pedidos de Curry Pot desde que me mudé al este de Londres hace 4 años. Los curry son deliciosos y están bien de precio. También ofrecen descuentos si realiza el pedido directamente. El personal siempre es encantador en el teléfono y los conductores de entrega siempre son amables y han sido excelentes sin entrega de contacto. La comida son porciones enormes y muy razonables por el precio. También ofrecen paneer como alternativa al pollo para todos los curry, lo cual es genial. Definitivamente la mejor comida para llevar de la India que he comido.

¿Qué diablos le ha sucedido a este restaurante que alguna vez fue un gran lugar para pedir comida aquí durante años, incluso cuando se llamaba palacio de los magnates? Creo que puede haber sido tomado. Sus terribles precios subieron enormemente, ¿cómo pueden justificar? 3. 50 por una pequeña porción de arroz y aún puedes conseguir un curry de carne por 6, cometieron un error esta noche con el pedido, sin disculpas, pensaron que rectificarían enviando una porción de arroz mientras que el resto del pedido se enfría se negó y luego me dijeron que tendría esperar casi el doble del tiempo de entrega normal en lugar de enmendar su error cuando llegó el pedido de reemplazo todavía tenía un artículo faltante y la carne de sheek kebab sabía a basura de arroz quemada de chuleta de cordero honestamente y luego me di por vencido Solo les he dado una excelente crítica, pero cuando les llama por teléfono y se encuentra con un terrible servicio postventa, merecen una mala crítica, entonces tal vez renuncien a sus ideas, pero por el aspecto de otras críticas negativas, dudo que las buenas críticas sean probablemente de los últimos gerentes, no de este equipo de administración, este es el tercer lugar tiempo infeliz antes de revisar Currypot si lees esto, detén el enorme aumento de precios a menos que puedas igualarlo terrible servicio mala comida

This place used to make excellent tasty food and was a regular 'go to' for an authentic curry...not any more. Very bland... and not what we ordered. I think they are using up frozen leftovers. We won't be using them again - very sorry :-((

This was just bad. It tasted claggy like it had been microwaved. Unfortunately I didn’t realise I’d ordered here before on a different phone and wouldn’t have done so again if I’d have remembered. This time I got a butter chicken and it was the exact same dish as the passanda I ordered last time , like EXACTLY the same, what’s that all about? Not sure what all the hype is around this place tbh.

Food was delivered at 18.27 not at 17.55 as stated, and the chicken tikka masala the sauce was all over the inside of the ripped wet paper bag,the dilervery drive called me at 18.25 for directions because he told me he had no navigation system. But the food was nice

And spicy poppadoms were missing

You have to choose tikka as an option before you can add and also get charged £1.00 for it. However when it arrives you get normal chicken. Don't order! Also got my delivery 1 hour before requested time.

Portions are huge and food is very delicious, could do with some more spice tho. There was a slight delay with the delivery but other than that everything was perfect, will order again!!

Pathia tasted more like Rogan Josh. Butter chicken was decent. In the rice we ordered there was meant to be keema but we didn’t notice any at all. Complimentary popadoms while gratefully received - 1 was stale and the other one was OK. Overall the restaurant was ‘alright’ and nothing special. May order again to see if this was a one-off...

Sorry to leave a bad review but the chicken smelled odd and had 2 bones which we could have choked on.
