La comida era muy sabrosa y el tamaño de las porciones es muy bueno. Gran servicio. Sin duda volvería a pedir, dado el pollo de cortesía de nuevo que era un toque encantador y fue apreciado masivamente dado que no se esperaba.

Came for patties. Got what we asked for. Prices are good and food was served hot and ready. Other dishes were available and customer service was great!

came here when i worked in city centre love my carribean food they run out of steamed veg but still charged me full price for a mutton rice and peas meal dumpling was not fried properly not comming here again

No recomendaría este restaurante. Nos dio carne cruda en nuestra sopa que causa intoxicación alimentaria. Se informará a las enfermedades infecciosas. La comida se veía y sabía asquerosa. Coma bajo su propio riesgo

We had just arrived from Manchester. Put luggage in hotel. Walked out of hotel and saw Aunt Sally’s from across the road. There was not much food left. I had akee& salt fish with plain rice & my husband had oxtail rice & peas. We both thought it was very nice. We were able to sit in and eat it. We finished at the right time when the shop was ready to close for the night. Would go again but in the day when there is more food before it’s sold out. The young man who served us was very polite.

Wow first time ordering from here but won't be my last Mutton was beautiful melt on the tongue so soft and the dumplings crispy yet so soft in the middle A+++++

I don't usually write reviews, but I am so annoyed. To start with a positive, the food arrived in really good time....about 30 minutes sooner than when they said it would, which would be fine if it was decent once it got here. The driver didn't bother to get out of his car, I had to go out and collect it, then the jerk chicken was bland, getting cold and was PINK inside! Chips were cold and tasted like they were made days ago, and they forgot my drink - even after coercing me to spend enough to qualify for home delivery. Completely disappointed and ashamed to say, half my dinner wen tin the bin! By the way - I called to let them know they forgot my drink an hour ago...still waiting to get what I paid for. Total let down, don't waste your money.

We placed an order, they ran out of Ackee & Saltfish (my Wife is a vegetarian but will occasionally eat fish), they instead sent out Curry Goat without calling us to replace it, the order was also missing 3 cans and two other dishes we ordered. We called them and they hardly apologised, simply saying they ran out of some stuff. They couldn’t see the problem in replacing food with something else without checking first. They just said get a refund through Uber Eats. We’ve been regular customers for a long time, this was the last straw in a history of terrible service.

Fantastic! Reminded me of my Grandma's cooking. Staff were bubbly and cheerful. Food was delicious. Can not recommend this place enough. It deserves more credit because everyone works really hard and puts in the effort!

Was passing so I thought I would grab some delicious Caribbean food but was I disappointed or what.! I ordered the jerk chicken which came with rice and veg. The chicken did not even taste fresh and was not even hot! It was on the par of when you go in Greg’s and ask if it’s hot and they hand you a tiny bit hot pasty! The service was ok but very disappointed in the food especially when I have had the food in other places down Bristol and it was delicious

Right. The food here is great. Amazing value, good quality. You should eat here. The mutton curry and jerk chicken are particular favourites. The problem; some of the staff. Lazy, unprofessional and rude. Carribean culture has its roots in hard work and sadly some of staff here take no pride in what they do and its pretty tragic to watch. But the food is great, just don’t visit if you have a low threshold for poor service

Popped in here the other day and I can only say the food was delicious,I had curry mutton, fried dumplings, and a couple of sailfish fritters to take away. Good portions and good value

This place has a really good wholesome vibe to it, feels like mothers food. The beef stew is one of my favourite dishes and the food here is very healthy. A good tip if you don't want the food to be microwaved, just let them know. The food is already hot but they put it in to make it warmer.

Mientras en Birmingham para una conferencia que fui buscando algo un poco diferente para la cena. . . . Realmente fuimos buscando un restaurante o pub comida, pero vimos la tía Sally's y pensé que me gustaría probarlo. Tenía una gran comida de pollo adobado con arroz y guisantes con un lado de col. Comimos en el restaurante, conocimos a unos simpáticos clientes regulares que ofreció consejos menú y buenos deseos para mi comida.

Food was nice, plantain was good too. Service is what this place lacks, took quite long with out food, but seems to be popular with the locals as there is always custom.

made my order online from deliveroo and order wasn't complete. called them online and they were rude. i ordered rice and oxtail the rice came in lumps. like you know when you had cooked rice since morning and it was all cold and all.. they just served it like that. so disgusting. its bilious i can never i mean never eat nor ask anyone i know to eat there. jeez Jamaican restaurants are everywhere but this one is from the gutters.

My child is presently at the hospital and not eating he wanted some food from this place so I said ok - I purchased some mutton and rice for him which was presented in a tiny cardboard box, the box was full with rice and barley any meat which was mainly watery gravy and 3 big potatoes which I paid nearly £5.00 - I purchased jerk chicken and 2 dumpling he gave me 1 the jerk had been sitting there all day I think it was dry it got stuck in my throat and the dumpling was oily and was not fresh the coleslaw was semi ok but not good ....... considering neither one of us had eaten all day was looking forward to a hearty meal, really felt like I wasted my money and would not go back there again.

On a day trip to Birmingham, we decided to explore the city instead of shopping. So far we had a free smoothie made by our very own pedal power at Pret.As we continued our walk we discovered Aunt Sally's Caribbean Takeaway. Don't be fooled by the fact it says takeaway, they have a large seating area. We ordered our meal which wasn't microwaved which was a huge plus!! We had the small size ackee and salt fish and brown stew chicken which came with steamed vegetables, another plus and it was ample. Tasty, just enough seasoning not salty and memorable. The two ladies behind the counter we're welcoming and very pleasant. Service was quick. The diner is well light and airy. Large dining tables with ample space. Very good foot fall. Will definitely come back again when next in Birmingham. Great find.

Found this a on organic trip round Birmingham City Centre for a day drip up from London. Delicious great food. Came just as lunch was starting it quickly became busy.Choice of eat in or takeaway. Not a plastic container to be seen. So eco friendly.Big up Aunt Sally

Very disappointed, Took over 2 hours for our meal to be delivered. Was served in cardboard tubs. Ordered at 6 delivered at 8:20. Order wasn't completely correct. Wasn't worth the wait.

Has taken 3 hours for this order to be delivered. With no communication. Ordered at 7pm and is still shy of 10 pm and have still not received my food. Totally unacceptable!

The food at Aunt Sally's exceeded expectations, could really tell that care went into making the food! The lamb melted in the mouth and the fried dumplings, rice and peas and steamed veg were the perfect accompaniment. Tasty food and nice atmosphere :)

Just been to Birmingham for a shopping trip, great Market, decided to have a bite to eat, we went to aunt sally's, Delicious we had the goat curry, melt in your mouth goat, rice an peas+ steam veg, great food and a friendly service.

Eaten from a few times both delivery and collection. Delivery is speedy and on time (only other side of city but some restaurants take forever and a day - or two to deliver)food always tasty and satisfying (I always have a fish meal, when I went with my other half he had curry goat). I really hope this place is successful as we need a nice little caribbean takeaway this side of the city centre (caribana as the other side and nice food there too)Parking can be an issue so prob best if you're driving to call and order first

we visited this place while our baby son was in Birmingham Childrens hospital which is nearby.due to being stuck at the hospital we had consumed various greasy takeaway meals and were feeling like we wanted something different.We decided to try Aunt Sally's for something different. I had the curried Goat and my wife had Jerk chicken, the meal came in a polystyrene container and was served with a nice spicy rice and some vegetables on top, I really enjoyed the curried goat, although I only had the small portion (price £5) it was a large meal and filled me up nicely.Jerk chicken was also tasty.We would definitely come here again if we were nearby, it makes a change from most takeaways!

The portions are generous and the staff is very friendly. If you're not Jamaican or familiar with their cuisine don't be put off by that. Just walk in and ask the one of the friendly staff what they recommend for you. Personally I love the mutton curry on rice but the chips with spicy seasoning are the best in town and the massive jerk chicken meal for £3.50 is a good value. Only one thing let's the place down and it's the lack of customers I suppose. That means only the most common orders are readily available and if you order some other stuff from the menu you often need to wait quite some time and that's if they got some at all. But overall it's a good little place that's worth a try and apparently they are hallal so black, white or Asian folks can all have some.

I read reviews on trip advisor and tried various caribean food places.By far the best was Aunt Sally's,first time I've had curry mutton,rice and peas,BRILLIANT.Returned again today for Hake fish and dumplings,Stunning.what a find.

having visted many west indian food establishments in birmingham can honestly say this is my favourite by far - Its tasty, food served hot and very good size portions. We are reqular customers and order take away from here most week delivery is reliable and the guy always so pleasent. I work just around the corner also and they will often get food ready for me Friendly Staff - Beautiful Food and a quality service. Keep up the good work guys.....

For lunch it was ok the line above explained it. We went of our way to come here and really its a nicely done takeaway with seating to their credit. I have to mention as it tickled me the attractive girl working there wouldn't even bring our food to the table. There was nobody in there and all she had to do was walk 5 footsteps. So we got up no big deal as she was courteous we would of tipped her. she was doing stuff but small things u know what I'm saying .. Bottom line is good was acceptable nothing more would go back if on the doorstep literally .

Close enough to pick up something to eat during a lunchbreak - this place is very popular with my colleagues.Portions are generous verging on excessive, and the staff are very friendly. Spicing in the curries may be a little timid for some tastes, but this is probably not a bad thing when you have to sit in a shared office all afternoon.

This was a great discovery, slightly off the beaten track but well worth the visit. High quality Caribbean food in a café that at the very least matches the quality you get in full restaurants.There are tables and chairs to enable eating in and the Mutton curry, Akai & salt fish, Jerk chicken and goat curry are all well cooked tasty and hot. Rice & peas are properly prepared and the dumplings a joy.Don’t be put off by the exterior venture in and enjoy this jewel in the crown.
