Very cute! We arrived 10 minutes after they stopped serving food which was a bummer as we were hoping to try the avocado toast. I got a cold brew and some carrot cake. Both were great and I’ve struggled to find good cold brew in this city. It’s centrally located and around a lot of other things. It also wasn’t really busy so would recommend going during the week and in the afternoon to avoid crowds.

I stopped by this cafe for a quick cappuccino and ended up having one of the best I’ve had in a while. The coffee was rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. What made the experience even better was the staff — super lovely, welcoming, and genuinely kind. It’s a cozy spot that I’d definitely return to. Highly recommend for a coffee break or a relaxed catch-up with friends!

A rather cruel thing to serve coffee, a known diuretic, in a former mens’ bathroom - but this place is brilliant. The coffee is ACS (Australian Coffee Snob) approved and the service very friendly, with the charm of a local suburban cafe in brutal inner city London. So expensive 😳 I don't recommend at all sadly. £20 for a small burger and a drink. The drink was nothing special but the burger was nice. It's so posh; avocados and all that rubbish. The decor sounded interesting to me but it's not. It's legit like sitting in a run down bathroom. Put me off my food a bit. Needs a good clean and not in good condition. Staff were snobby but friendly enough. Sadly don't recommend unless they put the prices way down.

I wasn’t sure what to think when my partner suggested going for a coffee in a disused public toilet, but i’d always wanted to try Attendant so was excited to visit a special venue. Obviously it was clean, but I still found the experience a bit gross - the walls are naturally grimy looking and the novelty wore off quickly for me. It’s a tiny, cramped venue with minimal seating - with barely enough space to move between the tables (and urinals), it wasn’t the most comfortable experience. Still, staff were friendly and we managed to get seated. Service was good and we were brought tap water without asking, which is always appreciated. We ordered a long black and a flat white, both lovely coffees which I would recommend. Unfortunately, we then seemed to commit a cardinal sin - enjoying a pastry from a bakery down the road alongside our coffee. We were told off by staff in front of the other customers and ordered to put this away - not something I’ve ever experienced in a coffee shop before, considering we’d bought drinks. This ruined our experience and while I would try Attendant coffee again, I would not return to or recommend this venue. We also decided not to tip on this basis - a shame, as this would’ve covered the cost of a pastry bought from there. (For the record, the food at Attendant looked awesome and I would try it in future. We just didn’t appreciate being treated like naughty school children when we’d bought coffees.)

If you’re looking for a place to simply lay your head during your travels, this is your place. We were placed on the 3rd floor with a view of the back of the buildings trash and construction sight. We included breakfast in our stay however there were not many options for non-pork eating people. The hotel soup smelled of stale orange breath and the shower door never closed despite putting in a work order. The air continued to automatic turn off leaving the room very muggy. Not to mention, if it’s raining and your don’t have an umbrella, you have to RENT an umbrella from the hotel. Overall, we had a place to lay our heads and a hot meal in the morning.
