Atlantis Quinton Fish & Chips in Sandwell

Ordered 3 sets of fish and chips delivered 2 of them taste OK one taste like old fish smells and taste bad , call them and reported lady on the phone explained they all come from one container thats fine so what should be the next step, they should at least apologise or offer to replace the food, she dropped the phone end of conversation, im a regular customer for a long time never made a single complaints only now yet they sounds not happy of course, bad customer service oh well 👎👎👎

This place is now called Olivers. The food here isn't bad at all but twice I have ordered a home delivery via their app and twice it has been forgotten. Last time, we eventually received the delivery an hour late after many phone calls where it was obvious they didn't know what they were doing. They shouldn't offer a delivery service if they can't manage it. I won't be using them again.

Fui con unos amigos a comer algo aquí. . la comida está absolutamente en el punto, probablemente una de las mejores tiendas de pescado y patatas fritas en las que he estado. . El servicio fue brillante, tengo que darle una mención especial a Michelle, quien nos arregló una mesa tan rápido cuando estaba tan ocupado y fue increíble con sus habilidades de servicio al cliente considerando que estaba tan ocupado y tenía tanto que hacer que todavía tenía tiempo para Brindar un excelente servicio al cliente con una gran sonrisa ?. . . Mi esposa fue a Oliver esta noche y pidió ensalada sin cebolla. ella vio a la señora comenzar a hacer ver que se había puesto cebollas y dijo que no pedía cebolla. comenzó a quitarse la cebolla, pero mi esposa dijo que no puedo comer eso, ya que tengo alergia a la cebolla cruda, luego fue a hacer otra, vino un señor y fue muy grosero y le dijo a mi esposa que la ensalada significa todo lo que hemos estado yendo allí durante bastante tiempo como la comida siempre tenemos nuestra ensalada sin cebolla, así que ten cuidado si entras allí, no pidas ensalada a menos que quieras todo.

Esta tienda ahora ha cambiado de nombre a olivers pero sigue siendo la misma comida y personal. . Pedí un doner kebab, cono de chips y savloy. Comenzó bien con las patatas fritas, muy agradable degustación y una porción de tamaño decente, pero a un precio de 1. 50 p. Pasando a la savloy aquí es donde fue cuesta abajo, suave, flojo, falta de gusto, especialmente ajo y sin tener esa piel crujiente. Por último, en el doner kebab, terrible de nuevo. La carne tenía una falta de sabor a hierbas y especias, solo sabía a una sobredosis de pimienta y era gomosa. Con apenas 5 quid y 8 quid en total, no se separe de su dinero en este establecimiento. Para poner la guinda del pastel, algunos de los empleados son tan groseros, especialmente mujeres con el pelo oscuro de aspecto árabe, la falta de interacción con el cliente.

Limp and dry chips despite being soggy. Rubbish batter on the mini fish that was not flakey. The tinned row we had was burnt to a crisp. Wouldn't bother, nice people serving but poor food on the fish, chips and roe.

Visited today with my parents We had the lunch special Haddock Chips Mushy Peas Cup of Tea and Bread and Butter all for under £5 Lovely fresh fish beautifully cooked Nice friendly staff If anyone is missing Chamberlain's give this place a try

Thought we would give Atlantis a go on way home from work, wish we hadn't bothered. Rather than take away, we decided to eat in. Nice sitting area but only a couple of people in when we got there. You had to go up to counter to order, even though the menu was bought to the table (it had a previous address on it). Food was expensive for what it was, which was average fish and chips. Missing an opportunity here to up the anti with Harry Ramsdens closing recently in the area.

I saw this restaurant open an wanted to give it a try! What an absolute waste of my time! 2 cod and chips curry sauce and a kebab! Over 25 pounds! I genuinely thought people robbed you in the middle of the night!!! Obvious now it happens in the middle of the evening! Food was awful cold when we got home And if the lady that served us smiled I believe hell would have possibly froze over NEVER AGAIN

had gone in with a mate as heard reviews from others.. not really a friendly smile or greeting.. did wanna eat in, but was told prices vary from both areas of takeout & eat in,the fish was average, & chips were average to.. mushy peas & curry sauce were nice, but overall would have wanted a better customer service.. it's about the experience at those prices so that kind of service should be followed or adopted.. better tasting chips with the right salt should uplift the taste. Also fish wasn't chunky couldn't say it was cod.. as other fishes are cooked there 2..

I don't usually do reviews, but having been ripped off a second time I have to! So I saw this chippy had newly opened, I thought it looked quite nice, must try it. I've had chewy battered fish which made my jaw ache (most likely been sitting there all day along with cardboard chips which leave a nasty after taste! I gave them the benefit of doubt and today ordered donner meat and chips (sml) £4.20 :-o OMG - NEVER AGAIN - Rubbery, chewy, hard meat, needles to say most of went in the bin. I will not be wasting anymore money here!

(First we went into a famous chain nearby and didn't get served for 20 minutes so we left, hungry.) A little further down on the Hagley Road we went into Atlantis and were served immediately by friendly staff. The fish was lovely with a crispy batter. I've given 4 stars because while our food was very tasty, a little less grease would gain 5 stars. But really very nice. I loved the mushy peas too, and curry sauce. Thanks Atlantis. Keep up the good work.

Been keen to try this chippy since it opens as it looks very clean and modern. Opted for the Cod and Chips and it tasted great but unfortunately the batter and a lot of the chips had all stuck to the paper and meant that it was a mess to eat. They did use greaseproof paper but it doesn't seem to be good enough.

We have now eaten at this restaurant three times and so I a felt I was in a good position to write a review. The prices are quite expensive but it is still cheaper than the Harry Ramsden chippy up the road. The interior leaves a lot to be desired and depending on where you are sitting, it can be quite cold. The decor is a bit tacky but then we don't come for those reasons. Now they have a good variety of food on the menu: fish, chips (obviously), doner meat, chicken meat, sausage, etc however you can ask for light batter or even no batter. This is something that I haven't noticed other restaurants offer. They have the usual range of sauces and also offer curry sauce. Their curry sauce is something I definitely recommend as it seems much thicker and different than other neighbouring chip shops. The waiting time is decent and the staff have always been very friendly and warm. So, ultimately, will we go back. The answer is yes and the proof of that is the fact that we have been there three times now! The only issue I have is with the website as the opening and closing times are incorrect so I will warn you of that now however, they will hopefully rectify that soon!

We noticed that this place had just opened and we we're expecting good food as it looked nice from the outside and we thought they'd want to impress new customers. It was quite expensive and we thought that must indicate that it was good quality. Unfortunately it was one of the worst chip shops we had tried. The chips were a bit like cardboard, the pie had hardly any filling and was nearly flat, the roast chicken was very dry but the fish and curry sauce were ok. We won't go there again. Kay

Recently opened I've been twice very clean fish tastes great you you can also eat in but it's more expensive but you do get plenty

Clean new restaurant. Very good fish and chips. No pretences. Not cheap. A good replacement for the lamented Chamberlains. Only let down was the onion rings. Will certainly eat here again.

Been twice now, first time had burger and chips, wife and kids had fish and chips. Big portions comes with salad total for all 4 of us around £25 including drinks. 2nd time went for lunch time special, for £5.40 get pie and chips, small...
