Has this place been taken over. Worst fish & chips we have had couldn’t even eat them. Didn’t ask us if we wanted Haddock or Cod like other places do. Gave us Cod which was awful and chips were hard undercooked.

Having moved into the area, I've been using this chippy for about a year. I genuinely don't get the negative reviews; the food is generally spot on, and the staff are friendly. I would suggest one of the better places in Hull. I have other established favourites, but usually is not worth the extra effort to go as this place holds it's own.

This is one of a few local fish and chip shops and is our favourite. Lovely fish and chips and staff are great.

I've just been and got a large order for my family and tobe honest it was a waste of money the chips are soggy and cold the sausages was soggy and been sat for some time the spam also cold and the parties one had just come out the other again soggy I went on dinner at 12 so didn't expect them to be this rubbish and for £12 I won't be going back only went as its the only chop shop close to me

There is very little to say.....fish and chips....so poor. Twice on the trot. The fish was supposed to be haddock. It didn’t taste like it either of the last two times, which makes me suspicious....it was tasteless. The chips are incredibly greasy....slimy with grease, awful! This was my favourite fish and chip shop for in excess of 20 years but something has taken a real downturn here, it’s like they don’t care. I won’t be going here again unless someone else takes over and turns it round.

It's a real shame, this used to be a great chippie but the sausages, patties and curry sauce are rank...The serving ladies are always lovely..

Used this chippy a lot over the years and quality of food and service has always been first rate. Fish always well fried and real chips. Service always speedy and polite. Patties good as well and also good choice of moist stuff too. Can really fault it.

Wow what great food.. Delicious char grilled lamb with salad and bread all cooked to perfection.. Service was very good.. definitely going back soon...

Really bad food, skin left on the fish (see pic) tasted awful, fish and chips were tasteless and mushy, watery and soggy. Even the mushy peas were tasteless. Small portions too and expensive compared to their competitors. Not to mention the 3 star hygiene rating

Me and my partner have been to this place around 3 times , the last 2 wasn’t pleasant but we looked by it , the woman serving is so ignorant and needs to crack a smile . To top it off finding her dark hair in my gravy pot when I came home just disgusted me , not one but 2! And it certainly wasn’t mine or my partners , as I have really curly hair and she her hair was all tied up . I’m not one to normally complain over a £3 fish special , but with the attitude she has, and finding a hair just topped me off. Most definitely wouldn’t recommend to anyone. I would recommend to the manager to get a new server though hahahah .

Tasteless cold watery fish!. Wouldn't rush back at all very disappointing. Also only gets 3 on hygiene rating so needs to improve to be as good other nearby chippys.

Every Saturday I buy fish and chips for me and my 94 year old mum to share. I am always greeted with a smile and the fish is the best tasty fish around here. The staff are always kind and know exactly what I want, I don't need to ask. Always makes my mum happy. The very best. Thank you Liz

Just moved to the area and decided to try. .found the owner (bald headed bloke) rude and the fact he was having a go at the server infront of customers not good..fish was greasy and no was was the fish size 9-10..was too small and also said I didnt want chips but put them on anyway and charged for them aswell..wont be going here again

usually good delivery time but this time was pretty bad, added 30 mins onto original estimated time then to be 45 mins later than that. called asking when food was due but got quite a sarcastic answer, delivery driver didn't even say hello let alone an apology for being so late

Not bad food for the price if you just want a quick chippy, nice fish and chips, was stood waiting for a good 10 minutes for a fish but other than that, can't complain, pleasant staff and good value chippy.

Used to use this all the time but not anymore,totally bang average fish and chips,woodys in anlaby is much better!!

almost 2 hours and food not arrived, had to send my 4 year old to bed after cereal and husband to work a 14 hour night shift after not eating! I'm furious. rang twice and the girl hung up on me very rude will never order again and I want a FULL refund! do not order, you might get it by New Years if you do but it's June now so not saying much!

The fish and chips are always enjoyable from Atlantis 1, it's always our go-to place and the quality never falters.

Plus side. food not greasy & fish was nice & white with right amount of batter. Minus. Would like to be able to buy cartons peas, beans etc.

Food was good and hot fair value and could not fault it but delivery time was not good 20 past 6 order confirmation 10 past 8 delivered and no sorry for delay,pity because the food was good.

If you actually want your food before you go to bed I recommend you give this place a miss......we're now almost 2 hours in and our food still hasn't arrived

As this is very close to our house we use this chip shop quite often and to be fair almost every visit leaves me feeling full and happy that we have had nice chips and with the sausages being a house favourite and an excellent value fish special theres plenty of good value meals to choose from. Well worth a visit.

We ordered our food at 7:05pm and the food is still not here at 8:40pm, i have tried calling the restaurant but they have not responded. NOT HAPPY!

OWNER /manager used ubusive languviige and told me he was buiy. Hence the poor service and lack of completing the order.v Suggestesd I compklain to "Just Eat" as he was not going to anything about my complaint. I find this very unsatisfacotry and have maid com[plaints in the past. I too work in a Service Industry and understand how customer complaints can affect perfomance targets. Thjis retaurant is well below par allong with Harpersds of Anlaby. They are not providind what they delare. at me and said he was busy. Short delivered order and suggested I contacTYed Just EaT FOR REFUND

Called 2 times to check on my order. After an hour I called again only to find that my order had not even been cooked yet! In the end it took so long to deliver that I had to cancel the order If you're looking for good fast food, don't go here

Hi, order this every week and normally the food is of a very high standard. This week the chips were cold, and not very edible.

Absolutely stone cold. Shame as the food is nice normally but we had to reheat and it did not taste fresh.

Perfect! As always. I order this on a weekly basis for my parents who aren't able to get out of the house. They love Fish Shop Friday, and thank you Atlantis fit starting a delivery service as they love your food xx

Omg! I don't usually do this but Atlantis fish and chips have flabbergasted me! I ordered via Just eat and was informed it was coming at 18 05pm. At 17 35pm I noticed a missed call stating they had been and gone. Even my dog didn't hear them! I rang them to sort out the order and was told they would not refund me as they had been round. Neither would they re-deliver my food!! £14! I rang Just eat who agreed they could not keep my money and refunded me! Moral of the story - don't order food from idiots!!

really decent fish & chips, best ive tried via takeaway home delivery that is, could do with bigger cod and chip porsions though hppy to pay more if thats the issue. small for meals, medium for extra and large for single porsions., just wish theyd provide extras to order seperate peas / gravy & breadcakes, or even a menue. but foor 8-9 out of 10.

Terrible, turned up an hour and a half after I ordered ... Shop was closed by this point. Hard to tell if food was any good when fresh as the stuff I got was colder than my kitchen.... Ridiculous

eglefino y patatas fritas totalmente aceptable, aunque revolucionarias de nada. Pasta era un poco pasada, pero he comido mucho peor. A un precio razonable, especialmente teniendo en cuenta el bastante vasto volumen de patatas suministradas. Sin duda volveremos.

This takeaway food turned out ok, bit old on the lobster tails but overall very good fish & chips, but no concept on time order, it came straight away which doesnt help if tlets to take. could spare a second to say hello. but would give one more try before I give in. IF they stick to chosen time and use fresh oil and add some chips to the fish meals. 8 out of 10 room for improvement.
