Atlantico Restaurant and Lounge in City of London, Westminster

We went there after seeing the reviews, and the reviews are OK! The place is very outdated, the food was very basic, nothing special. The starter we ordered, was extremely disappointing, We had Dirty Fries, which was nothing but standard fries with some low-quality bacon added to it - The Fried squids were horrible, chewy and not fresh at all. Uploading pictures of the main we had below. The menu for drinks was okay; however, they advertised malted beer as Pale Ale. Ridiculous! I won't go back again. The waiter was friendly and nice, but the food was awful.

Esta fue una cena durante su estancia en el hotel. La noche fue mi cena de cumpleaños. La comida, como siempre, era perfecta, aunque las porciones eran un poco grandes. Martyn tenía la sopa como entrante, bueno, salió en un tazón grande, lleno de magnífica sopa de fideos con carne, ¡había suficiente para servirnos a los dos como plato principal! ! ! afortunadamente decidí solo tener pan como entrante. Plato principal los dos teníamos las mismas brochetas de pollo y chorizo con arroz con tomate y patatas fritas. Salieron 3 brochetas, 2 cada uno hubiera sido suficiente para nosotros, Martyn no tenía el arroz, pero yo sí, y fue encantador y estuvo bien con la carne. ¿papas fritas? no tocamos ninguno de ellos, nos sentimos culpables porque sabemos que son encantadores, pero simplemente no los necesitamos. Luego, después de todo esto, los camareros y Jo, el gerente de la casa y alguien con quien nos hemos familiarizado, salieron con un plato con pastel y velas, feliz cumpleaños escrito en un plato, ¡todos cantando para mí! ! Me avergonzó con los otros clientes, pero fue muy agradable que me hicieran sentir muy especial. Gracias a todos por haber hecho un gran final para mi día.

Después de haber estado en el hotel Pestana por 5 noches, he comido en el restaurante Atllantico, a la hora del desayuno y la cena. La comida es fresca, bien preparada y variada. El pescado y las patatas fritas eran excepcionales!

Gran ambiente tranquilo, personal atento y comida sabrosa. ¡No podría haber pedido más! Realmente recomiendo este restaurante!

Estábamos cerca. Buen lugar pequeño, están haciendo buena comida. la ubicación está bien los precios están bien también

Had breakfast here and it was lovely. The porridge and pancakes were very nice. Also ate here in the night and it was fantastic to. The service was also amazing.

This was a very nice place. We had breakfast here and it was really a wonderful experience. Especially Jarek and Reduane. They were so good in serving us. They made us feel very comfortable. A special thanks to both of them. I would strongly recommend it to everyone.

Although the menu is somewhat limited I thought I would try the Atlântico as was staying at the Pestana. I had been several times for breakfast which is always nice (but included in my room rate). I had the fish and chips which at £20 included service charge wasn’t cheap but the meal was hot, filling and very tasty. I will try the tapas table next time as this also looked very appetising. The restaurant was not busy so service was very fast and friendly.

We only went here for breakfast as it was included in our hotel stay, food was nice although everything was exactly the same both days we went. There was quite a good choice but i wouldnt say it was huge, oh and they need to ditch those stupid glass tomato sauce bottles i can never get anything out of them ;) Jarek looked after us well though. Overall very nice pleasant atmoshpere

We had an overnight stay at the Pestana and decided to eat in-house in the Atlantico - it was a good decision. We were quite early so had a table by the window which looked out onto the front of the hotel and surrounding apartments. There was a good choice of freshly cooked tapas dishes available on a help-yourself basis and the staff were on hand to explain the dishes if needed. For my main meal, I had an organic barley risotto which was very good and Hubby had chicken and chorizo kebabs which he thoroughly enjoyed. To be honest, the tapas was quite filling so I'd probably just have that next time. The following morning we had an early buffet style breakfast which was very nice with plenty of choice. The staff at the restaurant were very pleasant, most helpful and attentive without being intrusive.

Been there. It's a lovely place. One of the best place in that area. And the breakfast was rich and tasty. They have lovely staff as well. I recommend it from the bottom of my heart.

Jarek made us the best omlette in town.. he was super amazing. Jasmin was like an angel in the place

The service is just great!. The staff are plentiful, keen and super energetic - but definitely not intrusive. We can mention Jarek who was just natural and just great. We only had breakfast there and some room service, and all the food tasted fresh and of good quality. the restaurant is part of the The Chelsea Bridge Pestana Hotel and Spa which is just excellent!

there is a lot of options regarding breakfast. for the ones that love the classic english breakfast is a section with all the good stuff in the back of the restaurant and for the ones that prefer european-ish breakfast there is a section in the front of the restaurant. there is even weetabix!! I was surprised! the staff is amazing! always polite and helpful! Jarek always smily, Elisaveza very cute and patient explaining me the rules of public transport in england! Loved the stay there and the breakfast is really great!

We had been here 1 year ago with friends and this time as a couple. The prices are very affordable and the portions are big. We couldnt finish the burger. The staff is very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. We had some drinks after and they were delicious. I had a passion fruit martini that i had to repeat. We want to be back for dinner soon!

My wife and I usually have dinner there and it`s never disappointing. Meals freshly made, cozy atmosphere and excellent service. I recommend .

Tuve el buffet brunch de los domingos con mi esposa, quien fue fuertemente en el tiempo, y quedamos muy satisfechos. Gran variedad de opciones, recién preparados y el personal eran excelentes. La hamburguesa era enorme, así que creo que tendrás que ritmo yo la próxima vez. Ambiente relajante, agradable para un perezoso domingo. Con ganas de volver de nuevo, esta vez con los niños. . .

Decidimos cenar allí ya que trabajo en la zona. Éramos un grupo de 12 personas y decidimos ir por su opción de tapas como entrante. Este era muy fácil ya que hay bastantes opciones de tapas en un buffet para todos los gustos y se puede repetir tantas veces como quieras. Para los platos principales, todos teníamos cosas diferentes, pasta, carne, risotto camarones y vinieron todos al mismo tiempo con gran presentación. La selección de vino era genial y el personal era muy amable y servicial.

Two things really stand out my sense: the tapas table and the service. The tapas bar, by itself, is worth it. There were a lot of dishes to pick from and all of then are very tasty.The wine list is very good

Teníamos amigos el Hotel Pestana, así que decidimos tomar unas copas en el bar. Los cócteles eran para morirse! Tuvimos un tiempo estupendo, así que decidimos cenar en el restaurante. Podríamos comer tanto como quisiéramos en el buffet de tapas como aperitivo y tenía un bistec perfeccionado cocinado para principal. Tuvimos una cena con buen vino portuguse recomendado por el gerente del restaurante agradable. Sin duda volveremos! ! !

Este restaurante no tiene nada que ver con Portugal y el Océano Atlántico, por lo que puedo ver. Me dieron una opción entre un buffet y un asado. El asado fue algunos frutos secos de Turquía y algunos - degustación de patatas con algunas zanahorias...

Muy bonito, un ambiente acogedor. Personal experimentado y atento. Buena selección de platos. La mesa de tapas es realmente excelente.

Tenía allí el almuerzo, comida y bebidas hasta tarde en la noche varias veces, todo estaba bien. Me encanta cómo llegar al punto cuando se sienta muy relajado y cuando la dirección se preocupa por su estancia.

Nice hotel bar, great for a few quite drinks/Aperitif before dinner. Staff are friendly and standard is what you would expect from a 5 star hotel.

Stayed at the Pestana Hotel and decided to eat here one night.The staff are really great and accommodating.Menu was varied and I can highly recommend the tapas. Good wine list too.

Το δοκιμάσαμε δυο φορές και πέσαμε σε εκπλήξεις. Τη πρώτη φορά φάγαμε ίσως μια απο τη καλύτερη πίτσα. Τη δεύτερη φορά το burger πολυ μέτριο. Και στις δυο φορές ακριβές τιμες

Thr burgers are terrible but the pizzas & fries are amazing. i practically ordered everything on the menu stayed at the hotel for over 2 weeks.

Buenísimos los cocteles , el barman habla español y es muy agradable y atento. Pedimos unos bocadillos y estaban muy bien presentados .

Great hidden Lounge/Bar in central London. food is excellent, everything was freshly made and served by their very efficient staff whom cannot do enough to make your visit comfortableWorth the trip even if it means just buying a pot of tea to sit and enjoy the ambience of the atmosphere.We went back next day for lunch and The Capri pizza ordered was the best tasting pizza outside Naples ever and very reasonable priced.

Excellent Breakfast at the Pestana. Food choice is great and is always fresh. Bakery goods are of an excellent quality and they sure know how to make a good porridge.

I have dined here on at least 6 occasions and on each one the food and service has been great. You won't get Michelin starred food, however for a good price you will get good food. More over you will receive great service from a team that really care about you and your dining experience so that alone brings it up to a great dining experience!

Dreadful, overpriced menu repeated each evening, Food mean and overcooked. Worst tapas table we have ever seen. Service painfully slow. Limited selection of Portuguese wines.

Well cooked and beautifully served. I highly recommend the steak. Wine was reasonably priced and there was a huge choice of food from 3 menu choices

We enjoyed their wide range of food for brekkie and our lil' one was able to eat as well. We also had Christmas lunch there and it was lovely....so filling I wasn't able to finish my main meal, which is unlike me. The only downfall for me was their set meal we had on our first nite stay, unfortunately there wasn't much of a variety.

Had some lovely tapas and portuguese beer (!) in the evening at the lounge bar! Lovely deccor non pretencious and trendy. Nice to chat with friends in the afternoon and evening.

We thought the food was lovely, mackerell starter and asparagus risotto were particularly good. Staff friendly, had the balance between checking everything OK without being all over you. The problem was the restaurant lacks atmosphere partly as it is in the hotel but the decor/ feel of the place could be improved. If you are staying on business or can't be bothered to venture out into London then the food is good and itr is not too expensive, however if you are looking for a romantic bight out this is probably not for you.

Breakfast was faultless, dinner was lacking in atmosphere and food quite mediocre

I ate from the set menu - my fish was very nicely cooked. My companion ate from the a la carte - soft roast rib of pork that melted in the mouth with spicy chick peas.

Nice atmosphere, other half had the tapas which looked nice and went down well, I had the burger which there was nothing left of either, allowed us to grab a quick bite before heading out.

Continental cuisine with Iberian specialities - excellent! Good wine selection, excellent service.

The concept is an attempt to make a fusion between portuguese and english cuisine. In my opinion it doesn't work. Eated there 3 times. The first one on Christmas day (our arrival at the hotel Pestana) and the roast pork loin was good. The entries (tapas) were almost all too greasy. Whilst staying in the Pestana Hotel we decided to eat here one night and what can I say excellent food, polite service and not overly expensive.
