Atlantic Fast Food in North Lanarkshire

The food was excellent as usual however I got a 250ml tub of rum & raisin instead of 500ml tub of cherry mania. I tried calling to sort it but they wouldnt answer the phone.

Chilli nuggets were burnt, pakora had a cinnamon taste

fish was so fresh and tasted amazing 👏

I must admit,, after watching what I’ve been eating the last few wks that king rib supper was a taste explosion,,, loved it. 👍🏻

Sausage supper was excellent and delivery was quick. Food was hot and I will order again.

The hamburger is one of the best in the area, and the special fish supper is absolutely delicious.

Delivery driver advised they didn't have many drivers but if food was cold they would replace, but not popping hot but perfectly edible

Waited 2 and a half hours for my delivery and when it arrived it was freezing cold

Delivery was an hr late ( More than 2 hours after the time of order) food was cold & soggy & an item missing . We phoned to chase 30 mins after the latest delivery time & was told the driver had left with the order, about 25 mins later a member of the shop staff arrived with the order, she was lovely & very apologetic & did say to call the shop if it was cold, but we weren’t prepared to wait any longer. We were denied a refund. Last time we order from here. Very disappointing service.

Literally delivered one minute before it’s late! Food was frozen - £19 for a cold meal. This is second time food delivered cold.

Absolutely awful experience when placed order online today. Order. As accepted straight away and got confirmation email. After 1 hour 15 minutes with no update on delivery phoned shop only to be told they were 17 orders and one driver and they could not give me time or where i was in the queue. There was no communication and if hadn't phoned could have been waiting walk night. They were quite happy to cancel my order and advised would be 4-5 days for refund. Told them would come and collect amd when arrived at shop had to wait another 10 minutes as they clearly hadn't bothered to get it ready. Worst experience had with them but will never place another online order

Pizzas always fresh and tasteful

Our food was on delivery for a long time. The food was ice cold, I was told it would be fine and that it only spent 20 minutes in the hot bag but it felt a lot longer, everything was soggy and not nice at all. The delivery driver clicked delivered nearly 10 minutes before coming to the door so this will probably affect my chance of getting a refund. This is disappointing as we are regular customers of Atlantic chippy I am very hungry and disappointed to have paid so much money for cold food.

Ordered regular potato fritters - minimal salt and chilli seasoning added to these that ruined the taste/did not mix well with vinegar. Atlantic was the best chip shop in Scotland at one point - can’t even get a basic order right. Just not as good anymore.

Order was late but fish was not normal special fish was more like frozen fish also tasteless. This is not acceptable please contact restaurant for complaint as I will expect a full refund as it was inedible

Second time in a row now that no salt and vinegar has been added to the food which then makes it tasteless and dry, i really do enjoy this place as well because they do swamp the food with S+V and when they do the food is amazing and makes you return

A friend recommended it as it won awards. In my experience of going only once, I have no idea what it won or why. Terrible food. Chose fish and chips. Classic, ordered and got it almost straight away, 2 bits of dried on the inside haddock with plenty grease dripping from it. Chips were closer to raw potatoes than actually the cooked product we know as a chip. They even looked like something my dad put In his fryer to offer us as kids when he thought you jist cooked anything at 180 in a fryer. What a total amateur joke of a place. Awards must of been given for being the only chippy open at the time of judging cos it was terrible. Paid just shy of 12 pounds for the pleasure. Almost hourly rate for being served a 2 minute plate up. Nothing fresh at all. Also, it wasn't busy at the time I was in more staff than customers so that wasn't the issue. I just think they cant cook and have no standards to aim for clearly.

Really nice food from here only thing I would ask is that you put a bit more butter on the rolls other than that spot on and the chicken mayo salad rolls where magic

If I could give a minis rating I would. Some of the order was missing and to be honest I would have preferred the full order to not have showed up. Literally every single item went in the bin. Never once have a complained about anything even when something is bad I don’t complain but this was worse than bad. The only plus was I had a lovely man delivering it, pleasant pollute even super quick shame the food was disgusting!

Just had the worst food I have ever had from any chip shop tonight . Almost £25 for 3 greasy meals. All the chips were stuck together in a big lump when I put them on the plate.Everything had a burnt acrid taste , I’m guessing the oil needs changing. This place used to be great not anymore. Avoid

Food was average chippy. The chips were a little dry but not greasy. Steak pie and black pudding were lovely. A great range of ice cream flavours and different size tubs to choose from.

Chips from all 3 suppers was soggy and not edible shame cause usually when i order its good. Fish,fritter n sausage was alright but fish batter was soft.

Most of the food went in the bin, chips reheated fish definitely not fresh in my opinion. Batter way to thick and soppy. Will not use them again

Consistently excellent quality. Lots of choice whether looking for traditional fish and chips or something a bit different. The baked fish is delicious . The freshly made pizza is delicious with the opportunity to choose both the size and the toppings from the varied, tasty range available. Highly recommend.

I buy from this chip shop all of the time, tonight I ordered from Just Eat and I was very disappointed, I ordered a small fish supper and a single sausage, the chips were limp and greasy and the fish was much the same and had zero taste, not my usual experience, will need to rethink my options next time !!

I buy something least once a week ,and its usually a big order,but today i was really disappointed, i bought 2 spag bols and it was a case of find the mince,even the sauce barely coated the spaghetti,ive got a full one left,because the adult wouldn't touch it,the other one was for kids,and even they have left most of it

Absolute joke. Booked online for 5.30 pick up also called to confirm Arrived on time nothing prepared. Waited for order main food ready then told waiting on chips while 3 customer got orders with chips that I had still to wait on. What is the point of the site for collection option if it means nothing and notas much as an apology. Booked early in the day to be told chi ken takes time to cook so obviously it takes hours in this chip shop

Chicken was dry & cold same as sausage, chicken nuggets could have been used as weapons.... and the chips..., the chips in all meals looked like it was all the scrap chips at end of night scraped together just because didn't want to make chips for order. No curry sauce. Not to mention half the half the chicken must have fell off it was sitting that long. I've been to chippy a number of times and always nice food. But I will be dammed if I ever order from here that late on again. And worst part was. Even tho it wasn't shut. They decided they didn't want to answer 1 of the 30+ attempts to call. I wanted the food collected and owners to record them trying to eat any of it. What ever that was it wasn't typical food from here. Am so angry at what we got delivered and then the ignoring phone.

Sorry but tonight’s order was cold and had to be reheated in microwave which isn’t ideal. Previous orders have been hot and good but it was a little bit of a letdown……

Chips were not very nice as if they were not very fresh. Half of the Special fish was hard.

Food was great, always is but some of the order was missing either snagged by the delivery driver or not included by the shop. Processed refund for missing item.

Used to love the spicy chicken pizza from here. Got a lot of friends loving this too. Last 5 times have ordered from here I have been so disappointed. Tasteless , dry , stone cold and rock solid . No flavour apart from bit of spice. Unfortunately need to find another pizza shop now 😒. Bring back old Atlantic!

Well just had my order omg it was ice cold the grease was dripping off of it plus not the correct order contacted the shop spoke to someone called DANIEL was absolutely hopeless would not help and wouldn’t refund my order cost of £21.75 these people haven’t a clue how to make fish a chips 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Had chicken on both. Not sure what happened as I detest chicken on pizza. The box had label on it with extra onions and fresh tomatoes which I ordered. Couldn’t eat it so it went in the bin unfortunately enjoyed the chips. It’s put me off slightly which is a shame because the other times I have ordered it they were delicious
