Went there for the first time the food was absolutely amazing great service and good Atmosphere would definitely go there Again

We usually have a takeaway from Aspects but decided for the first time ever to sit in. We are so glad we did, the atmosphere was lovely, service was great. We decided to try the Tandoori dishes (usually go for general curries) and I can highly recommend the Minted Lamb tandoori dish. It literally melts in your mouth, Fantastic flavours and comes with naan and salad. (Even took the remainders home!) I also loved the fact we was sat near the open fireplace which was lit. Was really nice (and a little romantic!), the restaurant wasn't too busy either, plenty of parking in the car park Improvements - more choices on the chutneys with the poppadoms. We will be coming here again for sure!

I had a uber delivery, the food is completely taste less and fells like the meat just falls apart im your mouth like it filled with water! Worse indian food i have ever tried! Sorry guys but its absolutely terrible! I will never order herr again!!!!

Absolutely awful! AVOID at all costs. Staff were rude.They initially brought the wrong food. When we mentioned that, the staff proceeded to tell us "no, you did order this" The lamb curry tasted like fish, chicken jalfrazi taste like grilled chicken, 5 pieces of chicken if that in the curry. Complained about our food, and said we was happy to to compromise and pay for drinks popadoms, chips as they were the only decent thing that came out. The bill was £183 and the manager argued after we said we'd pay £80. They still refused and argued with smug attitudes. Eventually we agreed to pay £100. Lucky they got anything, won't be returning!

Excellent curry. We ordered a takeaway to eat in the wonderful micro pub across the road. The service was top notch; for example the owners provided us with plates and knives and forks to eat the takeaway with! The food was delicious and plentiful (a few extras thrown in for free).

First class meal. Had lamb chops as a starter and were the best I have ever had. We shared a Punjabi Chicken and a chicken Murich. The Murich was superb the blend of cashew nuts and ginger with the chicken was delicious. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Absolutely superb food at this Indian Restaurant. Food was prepared quickly and tasted so fresh. Great customer service, All Staff were Very friendly. Lovely quiet place for a Take Away or a Dine in with family / friends ; even a Date. Highly Recommend.

Night out with friends, had the restaurant to ourselves, not sure if Mondays are very quiet or if our host had arranged for the venue to be just for us. Staff were courteous and efficient. Nice menu....food was served quickly, and was piping hot and very tasty. Bill as expected.

First time ordering a meal usually use narborough it was amazing best Indian meal for a long time even my partner loved it will definitely be ordering again so glad we had a leaflet through the door ..compliments to the chef and the lovely polite man that took our order and the nice delivery driver 10 stars Thankyou .Tracy

Wonderful indian meal, excellent service.

Good food and always great to ask what to try if you have a rough idea of what taste you're after. It's a half pub and family friendly so not always the place for a quiet meal. I've also been charged more calling directly than ordering the same through Deliveroo so check both.

We came here with a groupon voucher which in the end was quite cheap. Food is quite good here, starters were very good, mains good but nan bread a little greasy. Overall for the price we paid it was goid value for money

2 weeks ago we had attended a lunchtime meal in the function room and loved the curries. My elderly mum especially wanted to have another curry there , but doesn't eat out in the evenings now, so we went today for lunch. The food, value and kindness of the management in accommodating our needs were superb. It was a shame that the restaurant was very quiet for a Friday lunchtime, especially as they offer an express lunch deal on Fridays....would really recommend that people go and give it a try.

Managed to get out for a rare date night. Candle lit on our table upon arrival. Lovely food, able to choose spice levels and the aloo saag was delish! Attentive staff and nice atmosphere with the fire place. Portions are good and not excessive. Rich and full of flavour Would certainly recommend. Thank you for a lovely evening

Came across this little gem whilst driving past. Absolutely superb service, helpful and accommodating. Menu had some new things to try, which did not disappoint. Tasty and fragrant flavors , all delivered hot. Can't wait to go back and try something different.

From the moment of exploring different Indian restaurants in Leicester, found Aspects as one of the best restaurant coz of there delicious meals (Masala curry mine favourite <3). I tasted several dishes and each one is to die for. I must recommend this restaurant.

stunning restaurant. visited on a thursday night for a family birthday and used our tastecard. beautiful service from our server. beautiful food. had both starters and mains. we brought a birthday cake too and they lit the candles and brought it to us. very friendly environment. calming piano music for ambiance. seriously recommend this to anyone. thank you for the brilliant service

Takeaway tonight for 3 people, pretty sure the chicken died of old age! Dry and tasteless, sauce was nice but did not hide the reheated chicken.

We had starters giving us a taste of things to come, beautifully cooked and very very tasty. Mains were just as good. Delicate flavours, perfectly cooked. Good portion sizes left all three of us too stuffed for desert. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely meal , service was great and the manager/owner came over to ask if we needed any advice ( which we thought was a nice touch) I had a chicken Passanda and hubby had Punjabi chicken both of which were very tasty . We will be back again soon

We recently hosted an event with Aspects, and they did such a fantastic job! The hospitality was immense, and their team were very attentive to our needs! Beyond that, the food was incredible, and everyone whom attended loved it! I know I will be back very soon! Thank you team!

Ate here last night and the service was terrible. Rude staff who rushed us out of the restaurant asap. The food was nice but the staff ruined the experience. Our bill came in at over £350 and we were treated terribly. I hope the owners read this and question their staff. We will not be returning.

Lovely service and food. I think many people forget that different Indian restaurant/takeaways cook food differently and that’s why not all curries or meals tasted the same as others. The service was brilliant and i was advised on what to get and really enjoyed it. The deserts where also lovey. Lots of options and service was quick even as the food is made fresh to order. Definitely returning and definitely worth a try.

We came as a family on a Sunday evening. It was very quiet yet our food was fresh, this is always a great sign. We had Punjabi paneer and lamb curry. The paneer was very tasty, the lamb average but satisfying. Nice crispy fresh naans. We have take away currys delivered throughout the pandemic , this was always everyone's favourite in my house.

Really poor for the price simply not good enough, cold, chips soggy, asked for extra spice and it was mild the worst curry I have ever had, avoid at all costs.

Great customer service, food came out quickly and was tasty. It was a fairly quiet evening so wouldn't have expected anything less. The groupon deal we were given as a Christmas gift was good value, no seperate menu, we would probably go again.

Called to cancel my order around 2pm, the meal was set for 17:30. Left a voicemail explaining I couldn't make it and to cancel mine off. meal was for a group of us. Supposedly 15 meals where charged for instead of the 14 that went. Owner said he had a missed call but no voicemail. Blatant attempt at a lie

Quiet, but still a lovely ambience. Excellent menu, cooked beautifully, Chicken Karai was lovely as was Keema Rice, Kulcha with cheese..EXCELLENT! Nikita our host was friendly helpful and attentive at a discreet distance. These Guy's deserve the custom post- lockdown, LOVELY meal thank you!

seriously the worst take away I have ever had the displeasure to pay well over the odds for, 1 item we ordered was a sizzling platter for 2, 7 tiny pieces of meat, the seekh was cold and tastless, the chicken was dry and the lamb was tough and chewy, this is the picture of it oh and the soggy nan bead was extra, sadly 1 star is the lowest it will let me choose.

Ordered a takeaway for the first and last time. Portion sizes are laughable. Next to no meat in the curries, just oily sauces. What a rip off considering the prices..

We have just had a beautiful meal at Aspects. After trying several take aways we thought we would try an eat in. We were not disappointed. It was fab. Thankyou

Curries tasted like watery spices was not nice at all, the naan bread was so undercooked and was all falling to pieces. Some bits tasted like undercooked pancakes and some bits tasted like floured mush. Chicken was very chewy and in my opinion was very expensive. It was not worth it at all.

What a nice place, staff where friendly and service quick. The food here was of a very good standard and very tasty but I warn you the portion size is generous so don't be surprised if you fail to finish it. I love Indian food and have eaten it all over the world and this is up there with the best of them.

Big shout out to Rich & the team @ Aspects. Whether you have a takeaway or eat in, the food is consistent !! Takeaways are just as good as eating in. As in no floaty oil or less meat/veg. If you haven't tried Punjabi Chicken yet, i urge you to give it a go. Simply 'the' most flavoursome dish... Just need to make sure music always playing in the background (indian music preferable to get into the mood) Keep up the great work.

RUDE STAFF Went to collect a takeaway, entered via the open door at the car park. As I entered the restaurant a rule man was aggressively telling me I shouldn’t have walked in the back door because of COVID. There is no signage to say no entry and it is the main entrance from the car park. Asked him where it says no entry and he said it doesn’t. Not a nice dining experience from a paying customer. Are we suppose to guess the door is no entry????? STAY CLEAR unless you are looking for an argument when you enter .

Second time at Aspects and will deffinately return.Went on a Saturday night, just starting to get busy around 6:30.....Had 2 starters, prawn puri and the garlic mushrooms, the mushrooms were fab!!!!2 mains, lamb makahni and chicken jaipuri, 2 nans and a rice.All absolutely fabulous and real good value, loads of meat and a sauce to die for.With drinks and tip £60......great, service good as well!!!!

First time at Aspects, we love a curry so i've no idea why we've not been before.Due to Covid it's set out for social distancing, masks worn and hand sanitizer available.Had 2 starters, the garlic mushrooms and the chili chicken served on a skillet, both were very tasty indeed, the chicken was particularly good.Mains were the lamb dal makahni and the chicken jaipuri. The curries were top notch, a really great depth of flavor, not too dissimilar to Nepal food. They go full on with the spices but manage to get the right balance. All swept up with a rice and nan.£60 2 starters 2 mains rice nan 1 beer and 2 large wines.Will definitely be back, maybe try the take away.

In retrospect the experience was quite funny but from start to finish it was just one thing after another . The hand sanitiser on entry was empty. We stood at the bar for quite a few minutes before anyone acknowledged us . There seemed to be three or four new waitresses who really didn't have much of a clue and suspect it was their first evening and had probably had little tuition/guidance so not their fault. One standing at end of the bar was told to take us to table whatever and when we walked over and said you are showing us to our table, she said 'am I'? The menus were takeaway ones by the looks of them, not sure due to Coronavirus but didn't appear they were for single use. Simple query on the menu when drink order was taken was met with a 'no idea' look and an admittance she was new and would have to ask the manager. The request for no ice in the coke was ignored.Had to eventually ask for food order to be taken. Then told it would be at least 20 mins for starters, as they were cooked to order etc. Already by then getting late so we cancelled them. Eventually 20 mins later they arrived ! Manager said it was their fault so we could have them on the house. Had to then ask for cutlery. The veg samosas were small/thin and not particularly good , had much better elsewhere, the tandoori chicken came as a single breast. A strange tasting separate sauce was also served . Why 20 mins to prepare, no idea. Then eventually the mains , I'd chosen the blackboard special , tilapia fish with rice, salad and naan. No plate served for one of us this time and had to ask twice for one. No rice but didn`t bother chasing for that. Nothing special about the tilapia dish , not cooked with a sauce but there was one served separately - same as the starter one which is a bit odd. All in all service was slow and poor even though the manager deducted the cost of the rice and didn`t charge for the starters. The food was just not very tasty . It would have been about £60 for two of us including one beer and a coke , no way it would have been worth paying that. Won't be returning.

Visited on tuesday with the wife and her parents.The first visit and was not disappointed the staff very friendly and the food was excellent. WILL DEFO BE GOING BACK.

Aspects is our go to restaurant and we have not been disappointed to date! The food is absolutely delicious with a wide range of veg and non-veg options. We would like to place a special thank you to Richard as he continues to provide a high level of customer service, ensuring the food is to our taste, every time without fail. Richard and other members of staff have ensured the restaurant is fully prepared due to Covid-19. The atmosphere is lovely to dine in, with polite and attentive staff. We would highly recommend Aspects.

Heard very good things about Aspects at the Plough so had my first takeaway from there tonight. Not cheap.bjt didn't mind as thought the quality would be worth it. Very disappointed, the King Prawn Jalfrezi was nothing like I'd had from.multiple restaurants before and was very and with what appeared to be poor quality prawns. Also.ordered a large bottle.of.Cobra and they sent two small.knes which weren't even chilled. Disappointed and probably won't try again as much better options in the area.

Ordered a takeaway sizzling meat for 2 , what an absolute disaster. They couldn't take a payment at the door ( due to covid 19) so i had to come in to the restaurant to pay at the bar and i actually saw " the chef" taking my meat out from the microwave, which wouldn't be the end of the world if the meat was nice but it was horrendous, chewy god knows how long it was stood in the fridge! avoid avoid avoid never again

had our first takeaway from here tonight and it will definitely be our last, total bill with delivery was almost £45! and the standard wasnt any better than any other takeaway, all we had was a tikka masala, tandoori king prawn main, mix kebab starter for 2 and chips! the tandoori king prawn starter was just 7 king prawns in a foil tray for nearly 16 quid no salad garnish or anything, ridiculously priced if you ask me! same thing at any other local indian would be half the price and just as tasty.. try abduls in huncote it will be half the price and taste better the reviews speak for themselves me

I recommend the mixed meat sizzler (you can order a portion for 1 or 2 people), with the fenugreek sauce, also known as Methi and I think it’s the best sauce locally. Chicken & Lamb is nicely spiced and tender. Always order this with a mushroom rice & keema nan. Aspects also has an offer on at the minute, 3 pints of Cobra for £10 which is good value.

6 of us visited Aspects for a family birthday. We all like different dishes, so it must have been a nightmare for the chef but everyone’s meals came out hot and with beautiful smells and tastes. The meat was quality, not cheap like some places we’ve visited. Staff were very polite and nothing was too much trouble. We have used aspects for take-aways too and the food is always top quality. We wouldn’t go anywhere else now and would highly recommend Aspects if you want a quality, tasteful Indian meal.

After reading reviews thought I’d give a local Indian a try as new to the area , there was a weird smell when you went in, the food nothing special and had a weird taste as if it had cleaning fluid on the rice ... The Manager as he called him self well what can I say very rude , not welcoming one but , won’t be returning again

We are regulars here and decided to go for valentines dinner. No hikes up prices, restricted menus or over charging for cheap plonk. Just top notch food, great service and super friendly staff. No this is the cheapest Indian around but you get what you pay for. High quality ingredients cooked with care and passion for flavour. Thanks for a great night.

The prices are high, accordingly to portion. Also the food was ok and the place is average not like a proper restaurant according to the area. Not much options of vegan or vegetarian.

Had an excellent meal, really good tasty food spicy and full of flavour. I had the minted lamb it was tender and beautifully cooked. We were very well looked after recommend a visit!

Went early door so didn't expect large crowds but we were the only people there for the duration of the meal, found the lighting to be too bright and didn't get the feel that you were sitting in an Indian restaurant. This we could have put up with if the meal had of been OK, however this was in our opinion a bit on the bland side and certainly not worth the price that we paid for the meal. Certainly room for improvement, much better Indian restaurants within a mile or two, would not recommend

Taste of food is good/OK; however it is pricey. One might visit the Tipu Sultan in Oadby for better experience for the same price (perhaps lower)

Have been to this place many years ago when the staff were super friendly and the food was good. However, it seems to have changed hands...for the worse.

My wife is pure vegetarian and malai kofta is real test if the food is up to a standard and we were not disappointed. I had ordered chicken jaypuri and that was nice and garlicky chilli hot. The best thind was that the food was not oily at all which tells me that chefs are educated in healthy indian food. Richie's service was excellent. Will be back.

Some of the best Indian Food I've had in Leicester. Most Indian food not cooked at home is greasy, uses too many florescent colourings and uses spice to cover the lack of flavour. Aspects is different. Their sauces are thick, flavourful and not pooling in grease. Their colours are natural, their spice is there but not overpowering and most of all they care. They care that you enjoy your meal, they will (if you want) discuss food with you. Find out your likes and dislikes. Make suggestions and produce a comfortable, enjoyable and satisfying food experience. If you're in the neighborhood, try it. You won't be disappointed.

Saturday Night Birthday Meal here, They catered for Ten of us, Service was Very Good, Lots of Choice and The Food was scrumptious, We all left Happy and Satisfied, They did Cocktails Too

Shocking! No mention they were going to charge for poppadoms at the start then charged us £13.50 for 10 poppadoms! Suggestion to staff, inform your customers when you are intending to overcharge them for a complimentary item!! The dhansak didn't even taste of a dhansak and the manager could do with learning to smile! Very intimidating and off putting. Won't be using them again.

Visited aspects and was expecting delicious food because of all the good TripAdvisor reviews, the food was very nice how ever was lots of it so I didn't finish it all and what I did leave ended up all over my shoes, The older man who I can only presume was the manager that night had dropped it all over me and wasnt very apologetic either and left the other Staff to clean up the mess that had been made , I found him to be a little on the rude side but the food was delicious , maybe worth a try perhaps he was having a bad day

Aspects really is the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Food is flavourful, meat tender, soft and seasoned to perfection! The curry is always fresh and very authentic. They always give generous portions and never let me down! My favourite spot in Leicester!

came to aspects on a whim and so glad i did my son came over from america so my self and his brother two sister sand his wife my grandson my grandaughter and b/friend went to aspects for an evening meal the food was excellent service cant be faulted and very kind helpfull staff very clean and well set out restaurant would reccomend this place to anyone

If you want taste and flavour then this is it. Wonderful food combined with good service, people who genuinely care that you enjoy your meal. I recommend the Chicken Jaipuri,a lovely kick and so tasty. It's just become my new favourite!

No surprises when you read the menu: the surprise comes when you taste the food which is so much better than anywhere else.
