Askew Cafe in Hammersmith and Fulham

Simple London cafe doing full English type breakfasts, coffees, teas. Food good, value for money excellent (£10 for a big English brek) and the staff are brilliant even running over the road to get my partner some jam for her toast

Nice cafe but too slapdash service The staff are too noisy and need to step up on service Too many people being allowed to float around inside

We had not come here for some time but feel that we have rediscovered an old gem. The food is of good quality and reasonably priced, the staff are friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is great. Well worth a visit.

I go to this cafe regularly and can not fault it. Delicious food and staff are very friendly. During Coronavirus outbreak they offered free pie and mash to over 50s, this was such a nice gesture and I was able to get it for my mum who has been isolating. Highly recommended

As a van driver I have been to my fare share of cafes in my time and this is definetly out shined them all the staff r amazing firstly the food is second to none with a great menu clean is an understatement this cafe is spotless I haven't been any were else since honestly askew is the one for me only today I got a takeaway and this was on there window the best ppl

Decent local greasy spoon! Serves a mean fry up, great sarnies for lunch with loads of options, pie and mash old skool style and desserts like you were still at school. And it doesn’t cost the earth. Love it. Only sad thing is it shuts at 3.30!

Every weekend we come down to see family we end up here, the foods clean, fresh and tasty. The staff are a family and they feel like family to us. It’s a real lovely place to sit, eat relax and chat. With the family atmosphere the kids love it too it’s just such a buzz of a proper good cafe. We all love it here and the prices are perfect they say you get what you pay for but here you get so much more. Thanks to everyone at the Askew Cafe and will be seeing you all soon. :)

Ate in this lovely little cafe on our travels and was presently surprised at how lovely the food was,myself and my partner had a fresh made roll by the lovely front staff and pie and mash which was absolutely to die for! Pies were cooked to perfection! We shall defiantly be returning when we next visit that part of town!

Had such a beautiful roast dinner. Everything on my plate was cooked to perfection. Better than mumma makes. Finished it off with the cake and custard, felt like I was back in school, was very nice. Will be back real soon

Food was good. Packaging can be improved though (a canned drink doesn't do well next to hot food in the same bag).

Gave me the wrong ice cream but very tasty and would order from again. Quicker than expected delivery too! Order if your hungry and just want food now!

Best lamb and doner kebabs ever tasted. Loved the slightly toasted pitta and the salad and meat were just delicious. Also liked that could be eaten comfortably out of box - no mess or need for another plate

Food was absolutely disgusting, chips and sauce at the bottom of the kebab and the meat was like dog food, banoffee pie was left in a bag with kebabs and chips and smelt like a lamb donner when it got here, all inedible and went in the bin, I don't even want any more of your disgusting food as compensation I am expecting a refund, vile.

Was on time but beef burger and chicken burger both awful and dry couldn't actually eat it. Never normally leave a review but don't want anyone else to make the same mistake. Only reason I gave a star was for the chips

Ordered cod, chips and mushy peas. Fish was cooked perfectly with nice crispy batter. My friend had the chicken doner on naan. Again perfectly cooked and very generous portion. All food arrived hot, delivery was very quick. Will order again.

WARNING: PIES ARE NOT HALAL!!! Just for anyone who was mislead like me, the restaurants info says it's halal but the PIES are NOT halal... other than that, food was decent.

The haddock and batter were rrally delicious. Really fresh fish, tasty and crispy. Unfortunately the chips were a bit on the soggy side, but of course you won't get much better with the time it takes to deliver and all. Still, the fish was amazing. Totally worth it. Oh, and really cheap when taking into consideration the monster sized haddock I got.

Good food, fast delivery, not giving this 6/6 as the cold bottle of drink was bagged with the food meaning it was not as hot as it could have been.

I've had a few kebabs from here and they were ok but not the best I've tasted. This time I decided to try the fish and chips and I am so pleased that I did. By far the best fish and chips I've had in a long while. They were delivered promptly and still piping hot. Big thumbs up from me.

Wouldn't accept cash when they arrived, despite being legal tender. Nobody answered the phone when I called to complain that the driver wouldn't accept my cash. Waited almost one hour to have my food not delivered.

People working there are very rude and put the phone down when I was still talking

I wasn't happy with the food as the chips looked and tasted liked they had been cooked hours ago...the onion rings were cold and soft the fish was too oily....I have been happy in the past but this time the food was not up to standards

Fish & chips we couldn't complain! Hot on arrival and fresh - but the curry sauce was quite disappointing! Not traditional at all.

Food was nice, delivery time was quicker than expected. we asked for specific items and to have our meat and chips in separate boxes and they did this. Only negative was that the grease from the food came through to packaging. Overall good take away
