Lovely style and ambience in the restaurant and fantastic service, particularly from my new Hungarian friend! Super friendly and knowledgeable, gave the perfect dessert recommendation; the white chocolate pistachio tart was to die for.

Had a fantastic time with our family who were visiting from Spain. The food was great but the best thing of all was the service from Marianna. She was warm and friendly but still kept it professional. I will definitely be going back very soon.

My partner and I visited Shrewsbury today. We popped into Ask Italian when we fancied a quick meal. We were served by Marianna. She was very pleasant and very helpful with our certain dietary specifics. Her charming personality made the experience even better along with the delicious meal. Great service and great staff members. We will definitely return! 😊

Very pleasant and good service. Good lemonade, food is average, not super tasty. In lasagne it was as if the wine was not fully evaporated.

A delightful and tasty meal by this lovely restaurant. Very welcoming staff upon arrival and attentive throughout. A great menu to choose pastas, pizzas and more… Had a calamari starter (large) sharer and it served my two children who devoured all! Incredibly fresh and delicious. The seafood pasta filled with clams, prawns, mussels and squid, absolutely fantastic. The pizza served amazing and delicious. A great cup of coffee served. Well worth the monies spent. Update: visited again, not disappointed, Ramona was absolutely amazing, bless her. I had a situation of two children recovering from Chest Infections and Flu, she ensured the children had fresh jug of iced water, had time to choose their food etc. Everything was made at the children’s pace and no rush. We had the pasta and two delicious pizzas, absolutely perfect. Puddings, once again, delightful. A great evening out, a big Thank you to Ramona😁

The waitress was pleasant and patient with us. The time for the food to arrive was slower than we would usually expect at Ask and all three chicken dishes were overcooked (by that I mean the crumb was black in places)

We met for a friend’s birthday and everything we had for our main courses was so tasty, hot and there was no long wait to be served with our food. The desserts went down very well too, cheesecake, brownie and sundae were all greatly enjoyed. It was quite busy as there is an offer on, nice to see the restaurant busy. Ramona looked after us very well, great customer service, she is an asset to the company.

Last night I ordered six takeaway pizzas for £87. On returning home and opening the boxes I could hardly believe what I saw. The smallest pizzas with dreadful toppings. I bough one for £17.50 and it was actually half the size of the others and finished in three mouthfuls. I had to go to our local Coop to get some more and they were WAY better for £5.95!! Avoid at all costs. Such a shame because 10 years ago ASK was a really good Italian. How they’re still existing god only knows.

I ordered six pizzas for my son and his friends for £87. I could have got better pizzas from the local supermarket. They were tiny and the topping non existent. The margarita was just a pizza base with melted cheese. Disgraceful!

After last time I ordered and didn’t receive and refund, due to being poorly of the food and being uncooked I still wanted to give you guys a chance as I’ve always had great ordered and quality and don’t mind spending the high prices due to good food. This time made up to last, food was incredible but, the mushroom risotto was not given instead it was a tomatoe pasta with mushroom which my partner did not like and I was to full to eat it! Can I please have a refund for that one item?

Went on Saturday (11/01) to celebrate a friends daughters birthday. Group of 7. Had a really lovely meal. Food was perfect, and the staff were exceptional- attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Service quick even though the place was busy. We had a lovely big table upstairs. They helped us with our own birthday cake and I must give a special mention to the male staff member who was so kind and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful evening. Highly recommend and we hope to return- live far away but would go out of our way to come back

We came here the evening before my wedding. All the food was excellent and the environment was warm and calm. Gabi and Las were excellent servers who treated us very kindly. Im very happy we chose to book here.

All I can say is what an amazing experience from the minute we walked in. The staff we attentive and took us straight to our table. I was served my a girl called Mariana I asked for her name so that I could make this review. Her service was incredible she smiled, she was polite and the food was amazing we had the fiery pizza and the courgette fries and arancini which was incredible ! I simply can’t fault it. Thankyou Mariana for making it so brilliant and thanks to the chefs for the tasty food. I will be back and I’ll tell all of my friends what to order !

Really disappointed with the quality of my food. I’ve always been happy with the service and flavour and it’s definitely been worth the money as it’s quite pricey but the quality was always worthy of it! The pasta was not fully cooked and the risotto wasn’t cooked properly and was still hard. Both meals were over salted and both meals weren’t enjoyed and very disappointed from the quality completely. I feel I deserve a refund

Waited 10 mins to be served for a drink and placed food order, 30 mins later the starter finally came, waited another 25 mins for main meal which wasn't worth the prices you pay staff weren't very friendly, walking round eating Wouldn't rush back as not worth the money

This place was nice food but very poor service had to wait like 30 minutes for food and staff didn't seen bothered you was waiting and it was quite expensive

Me and my sister decided to come for a Christmas meal and we had a lovely time. We were seated early and thoroughly looked after during our time there. The staff were friendly and attentive! We had our food in next to no time (which was great because we were starving!) Such a positive experience, thank you :) I would highly recommend! If you are debating pudding, I’d save a bit of room! They are delicious!

No attempt made by my delivery driver to find the right flat. Instead asked me to walk down to find him. Sat in town with my food for 10 minutes so it was cold and soggy.

Service was excellent our server Ramona was amazing! Excellent customer service to us but also witnessed for others. Customer left umbrella and Ramona ran after them. Food was lovely!

They were very accommodating with us. Despite being a busy time, they reserved a table for us so we could come back later. We had a warm welcome and the waitress was very attentive. All the staff were friendly. One of our dishes was a little late, but she went out of her way to sort it out. Our food was delicious, our daughter even cleared her plate. The atmosphere was perfect. The whole experience was, we only had a main course, because we had to go off to the panto otherwise we would have stayed longer.

My boyfriend and I came for an evening meal which I had booked online before hand. When we arrived it was very busy and we were seated on a table right next to the door. With it being so busy people were in and out making it very cold (it's December), I had to keep my coat on for the entire meal. My boyfriend asked a waitress if we could move somewhere a bit warmer, pointing to a table that had just been cleared and she said unfortunately there was nowhere else, the table we had seen was reserved. She then went on to say that she didn't like seating people on the table we were on. So my question is why did she seat us there, what is the point in booking a table if you are only going to get given the worst table in the restaurant? After we had eaten I went to use the toilets which were upstairs and to my surprise there was a whole room of empty tables. While sitting on our table next to the door, we watched the staff turn multiple people away claiming they had no tables. What a joke! Food was average, service was poor (we ordered online after waiting 15 minutes for even a drinks order to be taken) and the atmosphere was horrible. Worst ASK Italian I've ever been to, will never be returning!

The whole experience of the restaurant was excellent Liam the waiter went through the menu with us and was wonderful and will be definitely returning when back in Shrewsbury
