Al Sorriso in Shropshire

We came here for the first time this evening and had a wonderful experience. A lovely family run business with delicious food and a very warm and welcoming host. The type of person who you can tell is actually interested in the conversation rather than just putting on a customer service facade. 10/10 I'd highly recommend it to anyone in the local area. Thankyou for the lovely meal and company. We will try our best to return very soon :)

Fantastic meal here. Great range of dishes on the menu for a small independent. We each chose completely different dishes and everything was cooked to perfection & delicious. So glad to have discovered this gem - will definitely visit again!

A wonderful Italian restaurant, my wife and I have dined at this restaurant a few times since moving into the area, the food is always fresh and full of flavour, I highly recommend a visit.

Had a really lovely meal here last night. The food was amazing we were made to feel very welcome and comfortable nothing was too much trouble. I would highly reccomend eating here and we will definitely be returning. well done Al Soriso a real treat in these troubled times

Absolutely outstanding! Mark the owner was amazing throughout our experience. Booked for my wife’s 50th surprise party , 19 of us , nothing was to much trouble for him and the team . Asked before booking can we stay as long as we want etc , eat drink chat , as other Italian restaurants locally wanted us out in 2 hours to get more sittings at the table , no problem with Al sorriso , stay as long as you want Mark said , and we did . The food was amazing and came out on time hot and perfectly cooked . Good choice of drinks also . No charge to take our own cake in either. Al Sorriso is a very friendly place to go , all staff were happy and efficient. We will be booking for our anniversary and other events, cannot thank Al Sorriso enough and our compliments must go to the chef as well as all the front of house team . The prices for what we got were also very reasonable.Cannot recommend highly enough.The attention to detail was excellent to make a very memorable night for my wife . 5 stars in not enough. Everyone in our party said the same as me , by far the best place we have dined at in years . Thanks Mark , see you soon

Great food and friendly service

Thanks for a great night celebrating my wife’s birthday, we brought a table of 9 who all agreed that the food was fantastic (as usual). The cake Luciana made was incredible! We all wish you every success and look forward to many more visits.

The food is amazing, it's all about quality rather than quantity. The one thing we both picked up on ( and I'm sure it wasn't intended) it seemed a little quick between starter's and main course. The staff are friendly and welcoming and as I said the food is fantastic. If you go try the lobster ravioli. Very reasonable price too.

Have had take-away pizzas from here over lockdown, enjoyed them and appreciated the service. On a Saturday evening i have had my first sit-down meal there, again pizzas. A very pleasant sociable evening, proper Italian-style pizzas, a good night out at what felt a real local restaurant. Easy to compare the atmosphere to what Albrighton and around also enjoy across the street at the Aroma. A real asset to have locally. I don't just recommend it here but will go back there myself, and recommend it to others.

Very friendly proprietor and great food, we came on chance after a visit to Cosford Museum and certainly were not disappointed, the pizza was fresh and tasty, (the little lad said it was great and took home some for his dad). The fish dish of the day was simple and delicious, the tiramisu was one of the better ones I've eaten. We could not fault anything and would recommend to anyone.

Waiters were all lovely and polite, but when the smallest thing went wrong all we could hear was the manager/owner going mad. It was an okay meal, but really didn't enjoy my experience from all the shouting.

This place is a little gem. We ordered a takeaway via uber eats and the food was of a fantastic quality and tasted great. Had a really fresh taste to it and certainly not your standard greasy takeaway food. If you live local to this place 100% recommend giving it a visit.

Anneke and myself found this little gem of a Italian restaurant 18 or so months ago and fell in love with it. We have never had a bad service or a bad meal. Last night was valentines and due to lock down we could not go to Al Sorriso, so they came to us, the delivery was on time and the food just as good as the first time even a free bottle of bubbly all at a affordable price, the owners are also the nicest people you could ever meet and made our night so special, cannot wait to go back after lock down, well done guys top notch food 👍👍

Excellent food, very fresh and delicious. Service was first rate and all staff very attentive. Lovely atmosphere, with a relaxed vibe. Would definitely recommend.

Very hospitable staff, made you feel like a guest in their home that they wanted to welcome and please as best they could. I have to say my pizza was not up to standard, I struggled to cut through the base, and what was advertised as king prawn and garlic, were just small prawns and I couldn't taste the garlic. Having said that, the place gave the impression of being immaculately clean and was well laid out. My friend's meal looked very nice, and he confirmed it was. I will go again, I just won't have pizza.

Wonderful friendly staff and beautiful delicious food. We went for my mums birthday and the staff were brilliant and attentive all the way from booking to the meal itself. Where I arranged welcome prossecco and a birthday tiramisu candle. We will definitely be back.

Nice restaurant and people but fairly pricey in my opinion. Sirloin steak was good quality, cooked to my taste but with mixed salad and small chips, left feeling a little hungry (and I'm not a big eater). Could do with small steamed mixed veg included

Food was great, saltimbocca especially! They did have a few teething problems on the night we visited due to a chef leaving at short notice, aside from that we were made to feel very welcome and we were kept informed on any delays. They did all they could to make our evening enjoyable. We will definitely be returning.
