Food is always hot, good portion size, and I've never had a meal delivered late or even at the expected time, it's always been early which is a bonus - thank you.

Peking Hot n Sour soup is fab. Salt n pepper chips are yummy. Kung Po beef is exceptional! Satay Chicken Skewers aren’t that great, sauce is nice but I prefer traditional flattened fillet’s instead of coated chicken pieces. I’ve had the Wun Tun 3 times and arrived burnt 3 times, so won’t order again. Fish, rice, curry, gravy and Steak n Kidney puds are always top notch!

Food was on time. That’s it. Order was wrong and it wouldn’t be unrealistic to say I’ve had ice cream warmer than that.

Duck spring rolls, soggy very little duck in them Cold. Chicken Curry, had to pour the grease down the sink before plating. To be honest didn’t taste too bad. Very small portion of chips with it. Wife had curry with egg fried rice. Said it was ok. Has good reviews so maybe we caught them on an off day.

Really enjoyed our meal today. Will definitely order again.

If you’re happy with overcooked, chewy wonton, you’ve found the right place! Everything is sub par unfortunateky 😣 delivery is usually last minute and the food is just a disappointment being honest. Not great.

Great scran everything was great, they don’t hold back with the salt and pepper chicken either you get proper thick pieces.

Supposed to get delivered 5:40pm to 6.00pm but came just before 5:30pm so that was quite fast. I didn't find the large chips & gravy very filling I must admit even with the large sausage , but maybe that's just me! Very good prices though.

although delivered a little late. I thought that was reasonable. Plentiful portion of chips. Scampi was okay. Burger was nice, exactly how I ordered it. Chop suey roll was very salty. Appreciated the free prawn crackers, nice touch. thank you.

First order arrived cold,rang chippy and they sorted fresh hot food straight away and was re delivered within 10minutes. Perfect :)..

Fish was very dry, charges me extra for peas even though peas come with a fish dinner, chips were reeeeaaaallly overcooked. Seriously. I can cook chips better and that’s saying something. Not a place I will be ordering from any time soon. Very poor.

The delivery slot was an hr from order, order placed, order confirmation came back with an extended 20 min window, food arrived at the end of the 20 min window, still warm, and delicious

Everything was delicious, hot and fresh. Crispy won ton, egg fried rice, curry sauce etc. wasn’t a huge fan of the satay chicken skewers as they were more like crispy nuggets, rather than the thin fillets I’m used to. Overall though, loved it!!🥰

Delivery was made to the wrong address. Food was warm not hot and very poor standard and tasteless. Did not taste like salt and pepper ribs and wings. Chicken chow mein was tasteless and chicken did not taste fresh

Ordered at 9.35pm. They was knocking on the door at 10.00pm. Food was not piping hot but edible. Great service... Good telephone skills... nothings a problem..recommend the salt and pepper kebab. Will order again.

though I'd give this place another chance, very small portions, no taste, the only thing that was really good was the delivery time and driver

Some of the food was cold prawn toast was cold and overcooked spring rolls looked like they had been kicked down the street. Chips where soggy burgers were fine though. Was a large order was close to sending it back but hadn’t time looked like an order that had been sat around for a while.

Deliverd one package on its side, leaked everywhere over rest of order. What a mess.

Considering I spent nearly £70 the quality of the food was shocking! I would expect better food! No taste, bland, and the char Sui foo young had pretty much no egg in it! Really disappointed and won’t be in any rush to order again!

Ordered peak time Saturday night salt &pepper king prawn and fried rice was decent not massive portions but fair for the price &nice and flavourful

The food arrived well in time, and was good.. maybe the steamed sui mai was a bit soggy.. but the biggest problem was my soup had leaked out during the journey and was adsorbed by the paper it was in. I took some photos just incase it was needed by just eat luckily gave me account credit.

so disappointed with my meal chips were stone cold chicken was too dry to eat it was all awful gone in the bin the only thing that was edible was the fudge cake.

There was only chips delivered not 3 and all the food was barely warm at best

Food was vile, chips just a bag of mushed up grease, everything thrown in to the bag food crushed. Chicken fried rice just about edible. Spring rolls mushy and ridiculously greasy. Ribs were nice but £8s worth of food out of a £60 order being nice is a joke.

Ordered many times from here, won't be again. we have been very disappointed with our order today. The chips were so greasy, the grease had soaked through all the paper, and couldn't be eaten.The fish was very small,next to no batter,chicken very dry

The packaging was terrible. It was all squished together and the sea food I ordered wasn’t even properly wrapped so it was open and all the juice and sauce on it had spilled out into the bag making a mess that I had to clean up before I could eat. Not only that but the prawns were mostly covered in batter so it just tasted like mushy bread than prawns. Other than that the chips were ok and the calamari was delicious but it wasn’t the best first experience with the restaurant

when I ordered, I was advised delivery would be between 19:30-19:50, the food arrived at 19:10. it was of the usual high standard, hot and tasty - perfect!

Waited over 2.5 hours for food tonight THAT DIDN'T SHOW UP!

Ordered at 8.49pm. It's now gone 11pm. They assured me that though they were running late, I'd have my order by 10:25. Over two hours of waiting for a portion of chips and curry and a fish cake. Ashton Fishbar often delivers late but it's become an utter joke of late. Why take orders you can't fulfill and annoy your customers?

Shocking over 2 hours to come from ordering and an hour late from estimateted delivery time opened my bag and my special fried rice was all in the bag

Well, where do I start, with this place. Almost 2 hrs waiting for our food, when told, the order would be 30/45 mins. Rang after an hour, to be RUDELY told , it's on its way. Waited another 20 mins, n rang AGAIN, to be told it's 8 mins away. After another 30 mins, it arrives. ( what a joke). Most of it, has gone in the bin, cause I'm not used to eating, Luke warm food. I definitely won't be ordering from this place EVER AGAIN 😒 DISGUSTING

order some salt and pepper chips with food it didn’t come so i rang and they where more than happy to help i got excited about my chips again and it came and i opened it to find a bag of plain rice this made me sad :(

Waited 2 hrs for a takeaway that should of been 30 mins.rang twice to see were our order was, to be told its on its way. 40 mins later it still wasnt with us.when it came 2hrs later the order was completley wrong & one of us was a vegetarian but it came with chicken pieces in it.rang back to complain but cudnt get no answer.wouldnt order from then again.

Best food ever five star service

Prawn Toast cooked in warm oil, sodden through with oil and not crispy at all. Chips were hard and undercooked, Salt & Pepper Ribs were tasteless with very little S or P Flavour. Beef mushroom was very nice and tasty, but Prawns were overcooked and not very nice. Overall disappointing.

Really unimpressed with the time taken to deliver a very simple order. When the food arrived the pathetically small portion of chips were stone cold. In no way worth the money tonight, very disappointing.

Always use fish bar for Chinese and have always been happy but not tonight unfortunately. Late by 40 minutes, sausage was tougher than old boots, curry was cold and fell out of the pot, rest of the food was OK but lacking the usual flavour. Will just put it down to it being a busy Bank Holiday weekend.

Food was cold, fish cake and chips was soggy. Ordered duck spring rolls but received some sort of mushy fishy inside uncooked rolls

chips were gross and stale, had a weird taste, lots of overdone and black bits, definitely had been sitting out for hours. if you're a chippy you have to surely have good chips, right?
