The food arrived well in time, and was good.. maybe the steamed sui mai was a bit soggy.. but the biggest problem was my soup had leaked out during the journey and was adsorbed by the paper it was in. I took some photos just incase it was needed by just eat luckily gave me account credit.

Still not here and no update when we will recieve

Amazing Chinese order from here. Always order when I can and it’s never let me down. It’s always delivered fresh, quick and piping hot. Definitely my favourite takeaway.

Food was shocking, there was a tooth in one of the meals

so disappointed with my meal chips were stone cold chicken was too dry to eat it was all awful gone in the bin the only thing that was edible was the fudge cake.

There was only chips delivered not 3 and all the food was barely warm at best

Food was vile, chips just a bag of mushed up grease, everything thrown in to the bag food crushed. Chicken fried rice just about edible. Spring rolls mushy and ridiculously greasy. Ribs were nice but £8s worth of food out of a £60 order being nice is a joke.

first time ordering from here and it won't be the last 😊 very fast delivery, piping hot food, really enjoyed it! next time I'll be ordering the regular size curry as the small one was tiny 😶 but deffo my new favourite place! cheers guys 😊

Really poor, was told it was in the way, turned up an hour later the place is 5 mins drive! Never again!!!

Ordered many times from here, won't be again. we have been very disappointed with our order today. The chips were so greasy, the grease had soaked through all the paper, and couldn't be eaten.The fish was very small,next to no batter,chicken very dry

The packaging was terrible. It was all squished together and the sea food I ordered wasn’t even properly wrapped so it was open and all the juice and sauce on it had spilled out into the bag making a mess that I had to clean up before I could eat. Not only that but the prawns were mostly covered in batter so it just tasted like mushy bread than prawns. Other than that the chips were ok and the calamari was delicious but it wasn’t the best first experience with the restaurant

when I ordered, I was advised delivery would be between 19:30-19:50, the food arrived at 19:10. it was of the usual high standard, hot and tasty - perfect!

Waited over 2.5 hours for food tonight THAT DIDN'T SHOW UP!

Ordered at 8.49pm. It's now gone 11pm. They assured me that though they were running late, I'd have my order by 10:25. Over two hours of waiting for a portion of chips and curry and a fish cake. Ashton Fishbar often delivers late but it's become an utter joke of late. Why take orders you can't fulfill and annoy your customers?

Shocking over 2 hours to come from ordering and an hour late from estimateted delivery time opened my bag and my special fried rice was all in the bag

Well, where do I start, with this place. Almost 2 hrs waiting for our food, when told, the order would be 30/45 mins. Rang after an hour, to be RUDELY told , it's on its way. Waited another 20 mins, n rang AGAIN, to be told it's 8 mins away. After another 30 mins, it arrives. ( what a joke). Most of it, has gone in the bin, cause I'm not used to eating, Luke warm food. I definitely won't be ordering from this place EVER AGAIN 😒 DISGUSTING

order some salt and pepper chips with food it didn’t come so i rang and they where more than happy to help i got excited about my chips again and it came and i opened it to find a bag of plain rice this made me sad :(

Waited 2 hrs for a takeaway that should of been 30 mins.rang twice to see were our order was, to be told its on its way. 40 mins later it still wasnt with us.when it came 2hrs later the order was completley wrong & one of us was a vegetarian but it came with chicken pieces in it.rang back to complain but cudnt get no answer.wouldnt order from then again.

Waited 1 and half hours for delivery food was cold and the chips were obviously warm ups when you pay these prices expect hot and fresh foods never seen so many black eyes in a portion of chips before absolutely awful 😖

Best food ever five star service

Prawn Toast cooked in warm oil, sodden through with oil and not crispy at all. Chips were hard and undercooked, Salt & Pepper Ribs were tasteless with very little S or P Flavour. Beef mushroom was very nice and tasty, but Prawns were overcooked and not very nice. Overall disappointing.

Always use fish bar for Chinese and have always been happy but not tonight unfortunately. Late by 40 minutes, sausage was tougher than old boots, curry was cold and fell out of the pot, rest of the food was OK but lacking the usual flavour. Will just put it down to it being a busy Bank Holiday weekend.

Really unimpressed with the time taken to deliver a very simple order. When the food arrived the pathetically small portion of chips were stone cold. In no way worth the money tonight, very disappointing.

chips were gross and stale, had a weird taste, lots of overdone and black bits, definitely had been sitting out for hours. if you're a chippy you have to surely have good chips, right?

Food came on time. Fish tasted like it was washed in soapy water ,sausage dinner wasn’t great either very poor quality food.

The Crispy Chicken in Kindo sauce is fantastic. All the main meals are quality.

Food was cold, hole in the box with the appetisers in so when lifted up food fell out.

the delivery was an hour late so all the food was cold and i needed to microwave it.

ordered at 6.15 and it was due between 7.20/7.40 which is long enough it was a straight forward order. called 7.55 to be told she's just pulling up outside yours. nobody there still 15/20 mins later. she's just pulling up. hmmmmmm. anyway, the lady was there but walking past even while on phone to restaurant and my partner was outside waiting! food was luke warm and bland curry was cold and you could stand a fork up in it. won't be going again. mainly because we were lied to.

Food was ok but waited nearly 3 hours for food. Customer service was awful and extremely unprofessional told food was 2-3 mins away and when I rang back 20 mins later just got told “what do you want me to do about it” 🤣

Waited nearly 2 hours from placing the order to it arriving. Rang multiple times after an hour of waiting to see where our order was and all we got told was it was with the driver and on it's way to us. Nearly 50 minutes passed since we was told our food was with the driver so we rang back to be met with the most disgusting attitude and customer service i have ever experienced from a lady called Sam. The driver looked rushed off her feet and was more than apologetic for the delay. Bonus points for keeping the food warm, although it was the wrong order. Sam really needs to work on her customer service skills. Definitely won't be ordering from here again.

Food came 2 hours late and sadly the lady on the telephone dealing with the customer service was so unprofessional and rude when she could have dealt with matters so much better. Would have happily returned for food however we do not want to be dealt with this this kind of customer service again. We understand times are busy and staff are under pressure, but professionalism should always stand.

Chips were diabolical. Green and full of eyes. Most went in the bin. King prawn curry was nice but too many mushrooms.

Food wasn't the best. Like it had been stood for a while. Food isn't normally like this so hoping it's a one off on a busy Saturday.

Terrible portion of chips well about 12 chips in a tray most were bad the chicken tasted like it had been warmed up from yesterday horrible no one ate it . The bin liked it 🤬🤬

2 hour wait for delivery!!😲 Ordered online direct with them and said 3/4 hour....rang them after an hour said the peter kay line 'its on its way'. Tried ringing again many times and no answer. Poor if its going to be 2 hours tell us, dont lie then dont lie on the phone as well. Wont use again for delivery.

The food was cold and we waited over an hour and a half for it to turn up.

I was missing chips from my sweet and sour chicken.

No prawn crackers where delivered even though we paid for them.

unfortunately the food was late and not very warm but once reheated, it was nice. the food and service is normally really good here, this won't put me off ordering in the future.

Totally disgusting would not recommend .Awful food cold chewy prawn toast burnt spring rolls dried out ribs manky cucumber cold pancakes and what’s best described as a soapy foul taste on the duck chips where soggy and like warm don’t eat the curry as didn’t want too push my luck as I’ve got work in the morning .Lady delivery driver went too the wrong address even though there’s a large over sized number on our gate post awful would not wish this food on anyone

Worst Chinese ever had avoid ordered dry chow mein got a wet one beef dishes were too salty, also the crisp beef was soft and chewy

Pre-ordered food to be delivered at 6.30pm. Had to chase delivery at 6.55pm to be told food would be a couple if minutes. Had to ring again after another 20 minutes and told exactly the same. Funny we only live 9 minutes away so on the first call, I was told a load of rubbish. Food arrived 50 minutes late. Prawn toast was soggy and limp. Ribs ok - nothing special. Duck - mediocre. Excuse was they are busy, shouldn't have accept order if they couldn't meet the demands with a level of service needed. Think we will be giving this place a miss from now on.

kebab came freezing an hardly any donner meat,even though I ordered a large kebab.naan bread was like its been stuck in a cupboard for weeks because it was solid like a Frisbee.partner ordered chicken fried rice an the rice was like bullets an chicken was like jelly.

Husband didn't like the food. The meat was chewy. I thought it was edible but nothing special. Prawn toast was nice, but husband got a piece with vinegar on it for some reason. Ribs were good. Veg Spring rolls had just mush in them. Could not define a vegetable. Place defo needs to use some better ingredients. Food came hot

Can’t fault them just wish there was an option that made it easier to add salt and vinegar to chips during the ordering apart from adding to notes as it’s not always seen. Love their crispy chilli chicken
