Ashona Indian Restaurant in Kingston upon Hull, City of

This place does not exist it is now open as VK take away, it never opened as an Indian restaurant, we have just received a menu for VK restaurant takeaway today October 15 2020

Decided to go at last minute as we had been out xmas shopping. It was 5.15pm and it was empty. We noticed it was cold but we thought as it had not long been open it would warm up. We asked for 3 cokes which we got about 19 mins later as he went to Asda fir them, they were warm aswel. We ordered our chicken Kormas and Rogan josh with side orders of rice and chips. Curry was fab, rice dry and chips ok. We say with our coats on as they had no heating on, it was freezing. Its good you can take your own drinks as there cans of coke are £2 each. Wont go again as it is not that cheap. They do a nice naan bread.

Have known the owners for years and knew that the standard of food would be top notch. Our first visit was very good and was not disappointed with the food, still prefer to buy drinks at a restaurant and having to take drinks is a bit of a bind. Will definitely revisit in the future.

Recently went to this newly opened restaurant, nothing too fancy as in decor, bring your own alcohol, the service was excellent, food esp the tandoori prawns starter were fantastic, it seemed really busy re take away orders, if you fancy something that's great value definitely give this a try, I wont be our only visit
