This place was incredible. The ladies were lovely and the pastries we had were some of the best.

Had the Scotch Pie and the Sausage Roll. Just the right thing to have on a very cold day.

A very premium baker, highly recommend.

Staff were friendly, food was fantastic. The Mac and cheese pie was to die for. Hot chocolate was lovely and the ghost biscuit was great! Highly recommend if you are passing through!

Terrific menu options, the steak & gravy pie and steak slices being the particular highlights, I went here almost everyday that I spent in Aviemore, and I would consider moving there just for this bakery!

Went there last Saturday and had the best macaroni pie I've ever tasted. The lady that served us was very nice and polite.

Struggled ti find anywhere in Aviemore so despondently trudged to the bakers. WOW! Service was cheery and friendly, our breakfast rolls were made fresh in minutes and were superb. Great value and out first stop next time,

Cornish pasty filling was awfull and carrot cake icing looked good but cake was dry and dense, my 10 year old does better.

Morning rolls are great as well as the cakes home baked. excellent staff, Service with a smile definitely be back.

Wow, this place is an absolute gem. We was warmly welcomed into the store, Mairhi (hoping I've spelt your name correctly) was so hospitable and helpful. The food is of a very high quality and all freshly made, not like other places which just reheat food they've not even created themselves. The manager was lovely too, I would highly recommend the homemade ice creams, as an ice cream obsessive, I can definitely vouch for these. The depth of flavour, texture and portion is excellent. This place is incredible value for money, contribute your money towards a great local business.

Food was good. No vegetarian option like a cheese slice or macaroni pie. I asked the staff re this who were rude and unhappy to repeat what was available heated. I was asked go hurry up as there was a queue forming when asking for sweet option. Aviemore Branch.

Not the worst i've ever had, coffee was not bad and the cake was a bit dry but still very tasty. i think i would visit again at some point.

Typical highland hospitality-NOT. 1 .30 in the afternoon and no fillings for sandwiches except for ham. Seemed a bit of an effort for staff to smile, be attentive or suggest food they could actually offer. Shelves bare- just unnecessary behaviour towards customers. And I’m a local!

Lovely little bakery. Whenever we’re up in Aviemore we always visit to buy some sweet treats and they never disappoint! The staff are really friendly and welcoming too.

The best scotch pies in Scotland. Sausage rolls and Bridies are amazing. All the hot stuff is great. Butteries and seeded rolls are also amazing. Get yourself a filled seeded roll for your picnic and you won’t go hungry.

Having spent a couple of days in Aviemore,we stopped off on our way home.The place was clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly.We had a couple of fresh made bacon rolls.The roll was a little doughy and had too much flour on the bottom but the bacon was well cooked and my coffee went down a treat

This is a traditional bakers with so many delicious sweet and savoury things to choose from. Between the four of us we had both and they were quickly made. served with a smile with some lovely coffee too. Just a couple of tables outside but enough to sit and watch the world go by. Great place!!

We had strawberry tart, carrot cake, and Rocky road. They were all really yummy and fresh. This shop has some much to offer, both sweet and savoury as a traditional Scottish bakery. I would say this place is better value, nicer customer service, and generaly better than a Starbucks or other chain business. SUPPORT LOCAL!

Good food however everytime I want a hot roll the grill is "turned off" seems like the times change everytime I go.

The food sold here is very good much better than Greggs and staff is friendly. I love there home made soup. Their pies with totties and beans is so good. My only complaint is that their prices are a bit too expensive.

Just had the best cornish pasty I've had in years. Sausage rolls equally delicious. Really fantastic, packed with tasty filling, lovely pastry. Also, was served by a really lovely lady who was more than happy to explain ingredients.Worth every penny!

A fantastic little bakers although it does feel like a chain rather than a little bakery, its missing the personal touch. however don't read this wrongly good food is good food! and I will rate 5/5

WENT THERE 4 TIMES WHILE ON HOLIDAY THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND THE CAKES WERE TO DIE FOR

Stopped here for lunch, coffees and filled rolls. Coffee was very good the rolls were enormous, very tasty and a large filling. Very busy, could do with more seating had there been space.

A very nice place to eat, service first class and the food very good quality and a pleasant environment. certainly recommended.

After a disappointing lunch it was nice to stop in here for a little sweet treat to take with us. It was very busy but the line moved quickly.

ate here on day out to the lovely Grantown on spey the food was average but the service was great and could not fault it pricing could be better extra 25p if you want your pie hot seems unnecessary

Brought 3 chocolate Easter cakes from here today with some rocky road slices. The cakes were stale, butter cream on top was hard, disgusting, Couldnt even bite into them. Both myself and my husband could not eat them. Very disappointing. How you can sell these to paying customers is beyond me. Needless to say I will not be returning here nor would I recommend to anyone.

This is mainly take away although they have a couple of tables. We just needed something quick as we had missed lunch. We had an excellent scotch pie and a nice cup of tea. The lady that served us was very nice and friendly. We ordered rolls to take away for the next day as she told us they sell out quick.

Every time we pass aviemore we have to visit this gem of a place.

Always stop in here for a macaroni pie when we visit Aviemore. Also very nice tray bakes. Delicious!

Called in for a quick bite yesterday lunchtime after a trip on the steam train. The sausage rolls are delicious, they even do ones with black pudding if you’re that way inclined.

Their steak slices were deliciousand the cakes were very good too! Staff were so friendly. It's a shame they don't have Ashers Bakeries in Southern England.

We enjoyed a Dory and a Jam Donut after escaping the bus tour crowd gathered next door at the Fish and chips counter.

Woke up this morning and found this fantastic bakery called Asher's. I ate a scotch pie and sausage roll for breakfast and decided to buy more for the whole family to take home for breakfast. Ashers has been around for 140 Years, definitely a 5-star bakery when you visit Aviemore.

Called in here while parked in Tesco as there were seats available. We received very good service & advice on the local attractions. The hot & cold food choice for a small shop was very wide & at enjoyable prices

Best Scotch Pies ever!! Macaroni pies a close second, only disappointment is that I never had the chance to go back for a chicken and haggis pie, sound great! Don’t visit Aviemore and not have a pie (or two!)

During a recent stay in Aviemore, Asher's caught my eye as I really like these wee home-bakers. Had three cakes from there in three days, and we also sampled the lovely pastries - chicken curry pie highly recommended, and the round steak pie was packed full of lean meat. The only trouble here was deciding what to buy - so many lovely tempting things! Staff were nice - well turned out in lovely uniforms and the shop was spotlessly clean. We will definitely pay Asher's another visit next time we're in Aviemore.

The food and the coffee were great. But the only is the price you have to buy them separate than a deal.

Aviemore has plenty on offer, but if you are looking for a quick bite to takeaway, I recommend this place. Nice and welcoming staff and great food.

Visited the bakery twice and had bacon baps cooked to order £2.50 and very nice indeed. Took away some scotch pies, a bridie and a chicken curry pie, all very tasty indeed. Far better buying things here than Tesco's across the road in my opinion, help support the small independents.

This was the 4th place we tried for lunch as everywhere was mobbed or shut. Fabulous sausage rolls, pasties, doughnuts and cakes. Lovely staff.

Visited during our annual jaunt to Aviemore. Takeaway pies are particularly nice. Try the macaroni pie! Staff are friendly and it is well priced.

Una pequeña panadería local, buen pan y pasteles antiguo modas encantador y pasteles para llevar. También unas pocas mesas para los clientes que quieren comer.

We were taking a ride on the Strathspey steam train and were in Aviemore just to stretch our legs and to grab a bite. I had a Scotch pie ... thin , crisp pastry and a delicious filling ... wonderful. The coffee isn't bad either

Popped in for a quick coffee and scone on Sunday and the place was busy with locals collecting food to go which is always a good sign.A small amount of seating inside and our coffee and scones were very good.Wished I'd tried one of their award winning scotch pies which looked very good and you could see things being made and sausage or bacon rolls were cooked fresh to order.Not a gourmet delight but good honest food at excellent prices - will definitely revisit when next in Aviemore!

I always look for "fruit slice" as a bakery item while in Scotland. It's not something you find just everywhere. I was walking past Ashers Bakery this afternoon and thought I'll just step in to see if they have it. And they did! And it was good. The rest of my family found me munching on the fruit slice and insisted on a selection of their choice as well.A very pleasant stop on my walk. Hoping to retrace my steps tomorrow.

We had pastries and coffee here during our stay in aviemore .Everybody loved them.Enjoyed the informal atmosphere.

Lovely hot sauasge rolls but the sandwiches were really bad. I had a BLT and the bread was stale and the bacon was horrible and rock hard. My husband had egg sandwich and his bread was dry and stale tasting too.

Standard bakery with the usual offerings and a few old fashioned cakes too. Busy at lunchtime, can sit in or take away.

Can recommend the fresh bread and rolls. If you prefer sliced bread the assistant will happily slice your choice for you.

Ashers offer delicious hot food for takeaway or you can sit in and eat at one of their tables. The staff are friendly and the food wholesome - the macaroni pie is a particular favourite! Great place to visit on a cold morning. They also offer bacon rolls etc.

Definetly get a hot sausage roll and the rectangle that's like a hybrid bridie/ steak bake, very yummy. Don't leave it to late after mid day or they will have ran out of most hot stuff.

In a tourist town such as Aviemore you expect there to be some good coffee shops but Ashers stands out as being among the best. The bacon roll I had was absolutely delicious.

We called into this gem of a bakery on our way through aviemore, Staff very friendly. My husband and kids had a hot pie and sausage roll followed by pancakes, crispy cakes and a coffee, I had carrot cake which was just like a little taste of heaven! Looking forward to our next trip thorough aviemore so we can call in again.

Just what it sounds like. A small bakery on a main street. Sells good coffee and baked things. Their "cheesy bean slice" had cheese and beans inside. The twisty doughnut was good. Lots of cream filled things.

If heading for the hills pop into the bakers and buy one of their delicious sandwiches. A great variety of cakes are on display. Wish I tried one.

Perhaps too many cream-filled pastries -- not my sort of thing. But the scone and jam I had were great.

Located in the main street near the railway station this bakery somehow stands out amongst the other food outlets. Friendly and efficient staff and you can sit inside or out. The baking seems to be made on site and the variety is very good. It was very busy and the staff dealt well with the many languages and pronunciations in use :-) Plenty of parking nearby and a cash machine just across the road.
