Ashers Bakery in Highland

I believe I was in what’s called “middle shop” and I feel I needed to leave this review based on a member of your staff. Caroline is a huge credit to your team she was fully in control of a busy shop, she appeared to be dealing with an issue regarding lights while still interacting with every customer and very polite and calm during a very busy spell!! An excellent addition to the company!! Food was great, love the choices for Easter will be back

Will not be visiting again. Restauraunt not clean. Coffee not good, sausage roll not good. Toilets not clean. Disappointing.

Lovely friendly staff, wonderful pies and bakes. Made sure to buy some as well their sourdough to take back home for family and friends.

Lunch on Wednesday 27 March at Ashers Giles Centre, Elgin.I would like to comment the two staff who served me- Jayne and Mary Ann. They were friendly, helpful and made it a great experience for me. I wish all catering staff could adopt their ethos. Well done Ashers for having two such great people working for you.

The worst mug of tea ever! Left a terrible taste in my mouth … no pot, no teabag, no cup n saucer and service without a smile! The poor older lady was obviously not having her best day as she couldn’t smile nor could she make polite conversation … just went through the basics to get the job done so she could move on to the next customer, which was a shame as it was the first day the sun had shon and we had decided to go for a walk up the riverside and around the harbour! We usually go to the harbour cafe (Basil/Bazil) however today it was shut as was the sundancer so we thought we would try the next best thing … at least we thought it was! How wrong were we? I wish we’d just gone home and stopped off at the local coop for teabags and milk as it certainly would’ve been cheaper than the £5 we paid for the privilege of drinking what i can only imagine what dishwater tastes like! There was a gentleman leaving at the same time who also aired his disappointment … defo won’t be back and if you enjoy your tea as much as i do - stay home and make your own or go to the Basil/Bazil where you get a cup n saucer, pot of tea with teabags, milk in a jug and sugar all served with happy smiling chatty staff (when it’s open that is!)

Recent holiday in Nairn. Popped into this bakers twice in the week. Served by a lovely friendly gentleman both times. Bread and rolls excellent. Wish we lived nearer.

It was very nice we stopped in to get some macaroni pies and sausage rolls , they were lovely. Service was good and overall nice experience!!

This is the better ashers. Staff are lovely and friendly. The other one they are rude and moody.

Great coffee, for my taste. Bargain early morning snack, coffee and bacon roll for £3. Staff helpful and engaging.
