Waitress was lovely, Room is nice and interesting Mac n cheese had no discernable cheese flavour, chips were oven chips under cooked, plate wasn't warmed properly but it is cheap.

Great little lunch place. Small and quiet. Great staff.

My husband is on holiday so while out & about stopped here for our lunch. I had the macaroni cheese & he had the scampi. Very good value & tasty, still not hungry way past teatime. 5 ⭐'s

Came to dingwall for a late lunch but not many open places around. There weren't many vegetarian options (only 3 or 4) but they were delicious (quality over quantity😉). The ambience was great too as it was a quiet place and we were served by really friendly staff. Left feeling full and happy :) Only thing is chips weren't listed in the menu - but you can get it as a side if u ask. Macaroni cheese was great 😋

Quick service and good choice. Had the cheese beef and bacon burger and was surprised how much food there was for the price. Well worth a visit.

Googled places to eat in Dingwall noticed this place because the picture of the mac-n- cheese looked amazing, food came and it did not disappoint! Husband had burger said was the best burger he had! Fantastic restaurant would highly recommend

We had a lovely lunch there on our way to the North. It was perfect and quick. The soup of the day was tomato soup and it was really tasty. The burguer and the panini were perfect

A lovely venue in Dingwall and they are very much involved in Community Spirit by their availability on the 1st Thursday of every month for the Veteran's Breakfast Club.

this a place you need to keep an eye out for been a few times now i find it good honest grub and great for lunch so if you fancy a relaxed place to eat well worth it and priced quite fair

It's a nice cafe for a quick lunch and portions are good and tasty but a bit overpriced. The chance to sit outside is welcome but some sort of deterrent to the huge and fairly aggressive seagulls is needed (like one of those kites restaurants fly that are pretend hawks). Also the courtyard would really benefit from a nice brick or wooden enclosure to hide the wheelie bins.

We were on holiday at the end of June from fife we stopped off in Dingwall very few places to eat so we asked about for recommendations we were told to visit here by the lady in the bakers at end of road....the food was ok I had the haggis pie which was over done too long in oven think they forgot about it and beans didn’t have much taste ,,,, my husband had the venison burger it was also over done ,,,, feel they need to keep an eye on the cooking times of their foods , we had dessert which was very good I had the apple crumble and custard which was delicious especially with the caramel sauce on top and husband had sticky toffee which was also lovely, service with a smile couldn’t fault service was quick and friendly , decor is lovely and very cosy inside.

I have been here a few times , thought IWould try Scottish breakfast which was good but missing a few main pieces such as black pudding and round of toast , mushrooms in batter were not very nice, partner had a panini which was over cooked which we mentioned to waitress whoOffered another but we were pushed for time , kids had fillets which they loved , service was great waitress was very kid friendly and made sure they were made welcome , such a lovely spot outside where we sat at as it was a lovely day Was ideal as we had our dog with us , waitress also made sure the dog got a drink to , we will def come back again when we visit in hope that it was just an off day in the kitchen

We had breakfast here and it was fine - the place itself is an interesting building and they serve a good range of casual foods and main dishes at fair prices for this part of the world. We were greeted with a smile and service was prompt.. It is quite spacious inside and was clean and well cared for. We would return here.

I visit this place often and enjoy the food , most days I've been in the food has been tasty and enjoyable but I visited one Saturday and it was utter chaos, the waitress was rushed off her feet, trying her best to keep everyone happy and still pleasant to her customers , but the orders coming from kitchen were mixed up , the problem being a shortage of staff on a very busy day, owners need to take this on board and rectify it before losing customers , well done to the team who tried their best but it just got too busy to cope, especially now the football season has started again ,it will only get busier

Slow service. Dry burgers. Food served to wrong table. Toilets impossible to lock. I believe the kitchen and the waiters had a bad day.

My partner and I just finished our lunch and thought it was very friendly very good food especially the burgers!! with big portions that fill you up! I recommend you pop in and get a delicious meal thank you 😊

Absolutely amazing, not one but two beautiful venison burger steaks with salad and chips. Cucumber water, who would have thought - just incredible.

We were looking for somewhere to have coffee and a scone when we came across this restaurant. It had outside seating but we were surprised at how spacious it was when we decided to sit inside. It was very clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The waiter said he would have gone over to the bakery across the road for scones if they had run out. I overheard the waiter asking a customer who had come inside to eat if he would like the water bottles on his bicycle outside refilled before he left. What a nice touch!

A stretch of the imagination is needed to call this a restaurant, it is a cafe. The food is good, but a tad pricy for a cafe environment.

Great venue with an interior and ambience that promised much but failed to deliver on any level. Went in for an early lunch with my five year old who didn't want anything from the kids menu so ordered a tuna toasty. Instead of asking if she wanted it served like a kids portion they brought out a huge plate with an enormous salad which she clearly wasn't going to finish. I could have overlooked that but my order was a disaster. They were still doing breakfasts but I couldn't manage a full one, which i told the waitress and ordered 4 items instead. The four items arrived on three plates!!!! Apparently the till could only cope splitting the order??!! I got a full plate of eggs and toast; a full plate of sausages and beans; and, an extra side plate of toast. There wasn't even space on the table for all the plates. I politely asked the waitress if I could have it served on one plate, so she went back into the kitchen, and piled the entire debacle into a heap on a single plate. It tasted like the cheapest of the cheap sliced white bread, likewise the deep fried sausages. What are they thinking...

This restaurant, we came upon by seeing the sign on the pavement as we were walking along. We did not for one minute think that this unkempt looking building could house one of the cleanest licensed eating places you could find. Going inside you find a warmth and a good welcome from the young lady and gentleman who obviously owned and operated along with some help to provide the food and drink they serve.We only had a bowl of soup with bread and butter, but it was excellent, warm and home made. I had a good pint and a whisky and a cup of tea and my wife had a tea and a scone. Other diners were munching away at all sorts of meals, that were served up with a smile and later a request about were we satisfied or otherwise. This young couple do a great job together and I am sure we will visit the CROFT if ever in Dingwal again.

Had a nice late fish and chip lunch which was nice and very good value at £9.95 including bread, butter and pot of tea. However sweeping and mopping the floor whilst cutomers are still seated and eating is a no no for me

My friend and I called in this restaurant on a Friday afternoon. It was very busy and very noisy, which meant that we had to talk loudly to have a conversation. We waited ages for the waitress to call at the table ( only one girl serving - very odd for a Friday I thought). After ordering our food, we waited at least 20 minutes and more for it to arrive.

Off the main street. Excellent food and great service. Large portions cooked to order and good prices.

we had been walking around Dingwall and fancied something to eat so came across this little gem had coffee ( very nice ) and hot that makes a change then we ordered a breakfast each i had a vegi breakfast great value for the money and great taste as well the other was as good plus the staff are very nice all in all great little place to eat , we will be back again.

We had a lovely lunch. Service was efficient and friendly, food was fresh and tasty. Newly refurbished, the decoration includes interesting old photos of Dingwall, light and airy. Tables are a decent size and you're not packed in. We'll definitely be going back.

We called in for a snack lunch and were made welcome as soon as we arrived. The three of us ordered baked potatoes, two with prawns and one with Coronation chicken. The ambience was pleasant, the service was quick and efficient, our drinks and our meals arrived quickly and, although simple, they were very tasty and nicely presented with a salad. The cost was very reasonable. Two small criticisms that they should note is that since we were travelling with a disabled companion a small ramp up the low front step would have been helpful; also that moving the bins away from the front area would have made the outside seating area a more attractive choice, even in a cool Scottish summer.

Having tried the coffee shop on the high st and been totally ignored,we walked out, and walked along the High Street maybe 200 yds and down a side street George Street, we found this gem, The Croft Restaurant it had just opened that day, we were greeted by a warm hello and good morning and would you like a drink .I had tea my Hubby had an Americano,I decided on Pancakes with syrup and bacon, hubby had the full breakfast with toast, and another Americano, portions were of a good size and all tasted lovely.the bill came to £16 I would defineately recommend this lovely Restaurant and give the coffe shop a body swerve.
