Asha At The Maltings Hotel in Fife

Staying in hotel on a Tuesday evening and went to the restaurant at 6.20pm only to be told it was closed. Sent into public bar but left quickly as the atmosphere was really bad. Read hotel reviews for other comments about bar. Messaged hotel re restaurant who said it closed at 6.30pm and on querying this, they apologised. As with the hotel, I just aren't able to recommend this place. Better to give it all a bye.

This place is amazing. Brilliant food and service. Indian food is on par with anything in Scotland! Simply brilliant what a find!

My experience at the maltings hotel I couldn’t fault it from start to finish, all the staff are very polite and always wanting to help you with anything you need given you the best and comfiest stay at the hotel. The rooms are very modern and up to scratch while also being very clean. The rooms have complimentary water and coffee/tea on demand if you’re wanting it. You have a bar/restaurant down stairs that is outstanding the food is Indian which I could easily say the best Indian I’ve had all piping hot and freshly cooked at a very good price. Overall 10/10 for everything and couldn’t fault the place including the owner who has meet all my needs. Anyone looking for a business trip away or just looking to get away for the night for some drinks good food and a comfartable stay I’d highly recommend this place.

Fabulous food! Every one of our meals were delicious. The kids ordered off the bar menu. Very happy and we will be certainly be back!!

Great service and even better food. Best curry I’ve had in ages. Not one of our party of 8 wasn’t pleased with their choice or impressed with quality of flavour.

First time eating at the restaraunt and the food and service were first class. Thoroughly recommended and looking forward to returning already. Can't believe we only live in the next village and didn't know about this place. Excellent
