Asda Supercentre in Coventry

Why have you started closing the shop at midnight? I often finish work after that and need to get some shopping late at night. This is really inconvenient for customers who work late shifts in their jobs. Please return to being a 24 hour shop.

horrible ignorant supervisors and security person,dreadful customer service and accused of being a liar,a dreadful experience,made me out to be a thief and liar in front of many customers.appalling behaviour from staff.

Billie the cafe emoloyee gave me the looks when i walked into the cafe with my 2 year old today . He wasnt making any eye contact with me until finally he asked what can he get me without a smile on his face and i asked whats on the menu ? He angrily pointed out the menu board to me and i said can i have fish and chips , he quickly said its sold out , i then asked can i have the full English breakfast and he said thats all frozen now so he cannot serve . I then asked what’s available and he again pointed out the main menu board to me . A man who has absolute zero manners and got defensive when i challenged his behaviour as to why was he behaving like this with me ? Is it because i am non white ? He chose to remain silent when i was being so polite in the whole conversation. He seemed irritated, agitated and simply annoyed when he saw me walk into the cafe . When i knew he simply didnt want to serve me , I said i will complain and asked for his name and he quickly covered his name with his hand. Now isnt that act itself proving that he has done wrong !!! What little i could make out it looked like Billie . My 2 year old son was starving and crying and was witness to this awful attitude of this disgraceful and disgusting service . I will never ever walk into that cafe again and will take this further with the management of ASDA and probably with the Press . We are living in the 21st century Britain and no one irrespective of their colour or background should face such racist behaviour from anybody especially from a reputable store like ASDA . I stormed out of the store and went to Morrisons Binley and i and my son were welcomed and treated like family in their Cafe . This speaks volumes on how to deliver exceptional customer service.

There isn't enough space here to write about the absolutely awful experience I've had today. Debbie and nick in the cafe need retraining, for customer service and also how they are around children. My grandson was having an episode and got some beans on her apron, rather than support us and say its ok she rolled her eyes raised her eyebrows and muttered something as she walked away. I was appalled and so was the separate customers sitting by our table who witnessed this. Can I just state my table was around the corner away from the serving area and till. I walked round the corner to where I witnessed both Debbie and nick discussing me with 2 customers. The customers hadn't seen what happened and had only heard there side of things, the customer thwn continued to be rude towards me and the woman pointing her finger and raising her voice to me, while her husband stood next to her. Not only was this completely unacceptable it was also very intimidating, id took my grandsons for a light lunch after there busy morning at football, I was alone with my grandson 3 and 4 years old. I then asked to speak to a manager and was told there isn't one. So I asked 'nick' if he was supervisor and he said yes I said, can we have a chat, his reply no not right now im.busy, but had enough time tonstand there discussing something he hadnt witnessed wither... Lovely man NOT and as for Debbie who started the whole awful experience off, I think they way she was towards my grandson was beyond belief, disgusting behavior. This reveiw is alot deeper however my complaint to asda will have all that info in.

We called in quickly off the motorway to buy bacon and bread here. We bought the "Extra Special Seeded Parisian Pave" and "White Sandwich loaf". The first looked and sounded nice but upon its slicing, all the seeds fell off and the bread itself was at best, very average. The latter was half-baked and actually had to be toasted to be edible. The so called "flavoursome" description on the packaging of the bacon is risible as it was absolutely rank rotten. The marketing wallahs at Asda have clearly never eaten it. We could only taste fat, chemicals and salt. It really was that awful. The only upside is that the staff are always polite and friendly at Asda Walsgrave. A very disappointing experience indeed.

Our driver Blair's performance was terrible. His observation of the suitable access was completely missed. Where we have a large entry between our house and our neighbours (both being end terrace) he decided to take the narrower option of wheeling his crate truck between my fence and my £5,000 vehicle, Hitting the wing mirror along the way. When I challenged him he said 'sorry mate but it was only the wing mirror'. Personally I don't care which part of the car he hit he still hit it. When I asked him what his feelings would be if someone had done that to his car he replied telling me someone has done that to his car in the past and he 'wanted to kill them' Poor performance by an employee who is seen by the customer to be a representative of the company

I shop here every Saturday morning and I find that the staff are not very friendly they like to stand in groups and chat. They don,t like serving you on the tills they just want you to use the self checkout . What ever has happened to customer service!!!! You go other supermarkets and you dont get this issue.

We came for a quick look around and needed up having lunch in the cafe. They had on a summer special for £4.50 which included a main, a side and a drink. The food itself was lovely and plenty of it. For a quick lunch I was very impressed for what we paid.

My name is Sarvanakumari and I am a regular customer of Asda Walsgrve Coventry. During covid time, I used to buy groceries online. As it is Halloween tomorrow I thought of going to Asda myself to buy the materials. But when I reached there I was disappointed by the way that they presented the pumpkin, there were only 5 of them and all of them were damaged badly. I also asked if there were any other at the till and they said those were the only ones. I chose to go to Asda even if there was coop nearby and they were all fresh and clean. Food is over priced, a bottle of diet coke was £1.30 for 375ml, that is ridiculous. It's clean enough and the gentleman that served me was polite enough.

Whilst the Asda shopping experience is good, the cafe lacks the same appeal. Often running out of cakes. Breakfast is also very small and very overpriced. Not worth a visit I’m afraid

As a tradesman I don't have a lot of time so nipped in at lunchtime. not too busy and served nice and quickly. Had the all day breakfast and a coffee. No complaints and good for the price.

One of the worst supermarket cafe's I have eaten in. Choice is poor and service not good. Tea and coffee are poorly served and the seating is indifferent. Not impressed. On a par with the Tesco Cafe and that is pretty poor too.

My partner and I dropped by to get ID photos done and decided to grab a bite to eat whilst we were there. My partner asked for an all day breakfast and was told they had run out of bacon. Bearing in mind the bacon was for sale a few feet away it was ridiculous! So he opted for pie mash and baked beans. I had two crumpets and butter plus two cups of coffee. This culinary disaster was nearly £9. For this we received a tepid and doughy pie, lumpy mash and concealed beans. The crumpets were toasted solid. The coffee must have been heated up from the day before. One sip was enough. We left after 10 minutes. One look at the store as we walked in should have warned us. Awful depressing lighting and shelves stacked high reminded me why I don't shop there anymore.

Excellent cafe, helpful and friendly with a great new menu. A lovely store in a great location. The best served breakfast in Coventry!!!!!!!!!

I received apologies that I was a bit early for the lunch menu but they agreed to cook the fish and chips for me. These are always cooked to order as is more of the Asda Café range. My meal was excellent, washed down with a pot of tea for £6. I have a great photo to go with this review but randomly TripAdvisor limits what we can add!

You can't be beaten on price.. the clothes are amazing especially for kids and amazing deals when baby event is on

Un enorme supermercado Asda donde puedes comprar todo lo que pueden querer o necesitar. Así como todos los alimentos, hay una gran sección de la casa también. El personal nos ayudó cuando no pude encontrar una marca particular de queso. Al final del día, es un supermercado. Tiene un listado sorprendió en Tripadvisor!

Staff friendly big store with lot to look at but at the end of the day it's a supermarket not much else to say but plenty of places to park and some free trollies

Shop here weekly lovd asda wouldn't go anywhere else it's right in my doorstep so it's handy for me as a local shop it's got everything I need I love it

We often go upstairs and have a tea/coffee. Staff are very friendly and Bev who we have got to know is lovely. Well done.

Funny,witty staff.The food was excellent.Great Service and a nine pounds fed my family.The manager cleared my table and asked if we would like any deserts.I have been to asda cafes before but this is the best.

What's to say? I always get the impression their stores are 'cheap & nasty', which seems reflected in their home brands. It does have some good deals on various items though, but you need to be selective. Better try Tescos up the road from this store.

Lovely and clean, staff very helpful and polite. Breakfasts are served hot and there are lots of good deals on for different things. Quality food and very good value for money. Would be nice to have a toilet and baby change on the same floor instead of it being downstairs.

Its a supermarket with all facilities. What can I say. Opticians, Chemists, Nail bar, Cambio exchange and to top it all, a big supermarket

Popped in to have a look at any bargains to be found in boxing day sale. Found a few bargains but on the whole disappointed in sale items and clothing available for gents seems to be going over to net sales

Called in asda coventry had breakfast in there cafe upstairs by exculator & lift . Service was quick staff very pleasant food was cooked nice an a good plateful price is good value .

We visited this store on Sunday at 12.05 and were told we'd missed the breakfast menu which finished at 12.00 but could have some bacon and sausages that were left over but looked very dry. We thought we'd try one of the lunch options but were told they didn't have any of what was advertised, only what was on the pass: Meat pie, chips, mash, peas, baked beans, 2 very dried up looking lasagnes and nothing else. My husband had the pie which was ok. I don't eat meat so the only option was to have a toasted cheese and onion sandwich, which they left in the toaster for about 15 minutes, needless to say it wasn't very appetising and so dry and there wasn't any garnish with it to make it a little easier to eat. Asda staff need to look at the state of the café too, it's quite clean but the décor is dark and tired looking. Don't try the Asda café eat at home or visit the Morrisons cafe where the food is cheaper and better. Plus the customer service at the couple I've been to has been excellent.

I visited ASDA on the 22/7/14 with my Grand Daughter. After walking around and doing shopping I thought I may use the restaurant. I ordered Bacon - Egg - Mushrooms and Beans. What a disappointment. The Bacon was cooked nicely, the Egg was like rubber and actually bent when I tried to cut it, the Mushrooms were bland to say the least having bee left in hot water on the service area. The Cola was OK although syrup and soda water tasted Ok. I would say save your money and cook it when you return home. Oh by the way it only cost just over £5 with an Orange drink and a small cheesy snack for Grand Daughter, but oh those Eggs and Mushrooms...UUUGGGHHHHHHHH. OH Yes 9/10 for cleanliness.
