Dreadful Coffee Shop experience. Ordered a toastie, a panini and 2 coffees. After waiting 30 minutes for the food to be heated up (bearing in mind they are already made!) I went to the counter to ask when it would be ready and was told 'we are busy'! (Was not especially busy). When it came, the toastie was hot and crispy while the panini was lukewarm at best, limp and the tuna melt filling resembled cat food. Could not eat it so I returned it to the kitchen. I would have waited for a replacement but was running late by this time.

Twice ive been here and the toilets were disgusting I'd report to security 1st time the janitor should be checking every hr and block off toilet if a problem

One little annoying thing in the clothes section I picked a Christmas jumper and wanted to try it on in the changing room only to find it locked so I thought no problem I will put it on and see how it looks in a clothes section mirror only to find no mirrors in the men's or women's section ?

spent the past 2 days chasing a delivery costing over £300, poor customer service and management. You would think the store is run by pre-schoolers due to the lack of management or care, also is it to much to ask for someone who speaks English to work in customer service, do you think English people are running the customer service lines in India? Because i very much doubt it. DO NOT SHOP FOR A DELIVERY HERE IF YOU ACTAULLY WANT TO RECEIVE YOUR FOOD.

Terrible store. Now where to sit if you gave to wait for anything. Pharmacy useless. Went in at 2.30 in the afternoon to be told no one could dispense prescriptions as the pharmacist was on lunch break and there would be an hours wait. The character from Little Britain obviously now works there. "Computer says no"! Sums it up. If you need meds in a hurry best look for a real chemist.

Shelves always empty. All they seem to be worrying about is the online shoppers and God forbid you should ask one of them for help. They don't say excuse me either. They just have an air of importance so don't care about the everyday shopper. 4 of them were blocking an aisle having a chat and wouldn't move. Tesco here we come

Refused to make a pizza because it was close to closing time and the staff were extremely rude and the manager Refuse to talk to me not acceptable will never shop here again and will never recommend

Security guards are pathetic, more interested in stopping people coming through the exit than doing their job stopping shoplifters etc. If I’m disabled am I expected to walk all the way around the ridiculous system to just collect a parcel?

This place is the worst of all the Supermarkets. I visited a few days ago after work. The place was a complete mess, shelves untidy, hardly any fruit left, empty shelves everywhere and items without prices marked on them. I will not be visiting again, there are much better supermarkets in the area (All of the others).

Great service, a variety of items to purchase, one of the best supermarkets in the area. Would recommend if you just want to do your weekly shop.

this was worst experience at an ASDA i've ever had, in the last week I have been to this location twice trying to buy a swimming costume as i'm currently on holiday but due to the fact that i've lost a significant amount of weight in the last few months i'm unsure of my size, the first time the changing rooms were closed however it was after 5 so i assumed this was the reason, i tried to find someone to help me and ended up chasing a store worker around the store for 5 minutes trying to get their attention before they disappeared to the back, after this i went to customer services and they said they can't help, i then went back today to find the changing rooms still closed, once again i went to find a store assistant to help me and the reason i got for the changing rooms being closed was that they "create too much work". I personally don't see how this is a valid reason especially for a store that has such a range of clothes. As well as this i found the store was rather unclean and unstocked, half the shelves and freezers were empty, overall a very unpleasant experience and staff were wildly unhelpful and rude i will not be returning!

Been shopping at this store for years. Went to shop today to find that the entrance/ exit procedure had been changed. Barriers have now been erected to prevent free access to facilities in store. You can now only enter one way and exit one way. Disabled parking was mostly by the EXIT ( used to be able To go in or out of both doors), which meant my disabled parent had to struggle to walk to the other entrance, nearly falling before she could access the mobility scooter/ wheelchairs. You can no longer directly access the pharmacy, opticians or cafe without walking into the store and out via the tills. Those with mobility issues or additional needs will find this store difficult to access / use. Ridiculous, unnecessary and quite frankly dangerous for some of the more vulnerable customers. 😡😡

Always find what I'm looking for

Did our normal Sunday shop. When we came to the checkout was told NO CONTACTLESS PAYMENT. NO REWARDS. NO COLLEAGUE DISCOUNT. I appreciate the problem was due to POWERCUT yesterday, but a Notice at entrance or Tannoy announcement would of been handy.

I made an order which I sent back as it was a substitute I didn't want and am being denied a refund..😡 watch this space 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Busy busy , always very busy , being accessible for holiday camps , but found what I needed with help ,seems to be re organising aisles .

I bought angel cake on the 27/05/24, just to find out it was out of date. I’m very disgusted that the branch cannot keep track of products that are out of date and leave them on the shelves for customers to buy. Need to learn about stock rotation and checks.

The establishment offers a wide variety of products at competitive prices. While the inventory of certain items was lacking, the customer service was excellent and the delivery was prompt.

Used Yarmouth ASDA for years but it’s been getting progressively worse, last night was awful . Empty pallets laying around (two in bakery) just inviting someone to trip, out of date meat, staff hurtling around with powered loaders (one hit my trolley), empty packaging laying around, medical section like a pix n mix, products not relating to pricing on shelves and to top it off my large two week shop was directed to self serve! Only when I asked for a manager and said I’d rather leave my full trolley and walk out did they get Helen back on the till. Come on Asda what are you playing at, please do better.

Absolutely wham asda i wouldn't be surprised if people got lost in there. Great selection of products though wouldn't expect anything less from an asda.

Getting fed up with items being displayed at one price on the shelves then when getting to the till they are dearer. Also why are there 4 staff on the self service tills but only 1 manned till open

Kiosk and customer services doesn’t open till 8 where as the shop opens at 7am…. This is not advertised to which I can see anywhere. Still given 4stars as somebody let me purchase from kiosk before 8am with a card payment.

Produce on shelves very untidy. Not a pleasant shopping experience.

Only 2 tills open, queues were terrible, 6/7 staff on self service but no one wanted to use them bring back real check outs

Called in recently (23/10) to get some fuel, received the receipt and 2 dog biscuits for the dogs, your colleague Paul is a credit to your company.

If you are going to have only one manned till, make sure the operator is competent. We had a lady that made Mrs Overall look efficient. Honestly this operator is one you avoid but unfortunately, she was the only one working the tills. I guess because you want customers to do your jobs for you on the self-serve. No thought for those who may not want to. This lady constantly makes mistakes which could maybe be forgiven if she didn't constantly throw your products at you. She says all the right things but attitude and actions are hardly what could be described as good customer service. Common mistakes, scanning the wrong barcodes so reduced items come up wrong price, not noticing price reductions, closing the till before putting your money in, let alone giving you your change. Maybe she has age-related issues (sight athritis, mental capacity) and would be better redeployed to an area that plays to her strengths or where she can take more time. Incidentally how difficult is it to match the right product to the right price? This is a task similar to activities one would give infant school children, yet adults working at Asda can't manage this. My other half works in retail and this would not be tolerated. Likewise, growing queues and not opening tills would not be acceptable, you don't wear slogans saying you're happy to help, you are supposed to actually help and not treat customers with disdain as if we are inconveniencing your social lives and little chats with each other. Other supermarkets don't do this. Ultimately we pay the wages, so quite simply, start earning them.

Three different occasions staff have been incredibly rude on the self serve tills ,,,never have a problem with any other staff just the staff that work 8n there ,,,soo rude .

I've just ordered online, half of my shopping was missing, the other half open or drunk. Rude driver, worst online shopping experience I've had. Disgusting service.

Placed a order to be delivered last night had a phone call to tell me they wouldn't be able to deliver it. Which I was unhappy about as I have health problems and needed some of the order ASAP. Was put in contact with a manager who kept interrupting me and in the end I lost my temper with her and swore once she then put the phone down. So I called back and apologised and excepted a delivery for early today this was confirmed by the person on the phone. Sat here waiting this morning and heard nothing from the store so I phoned the store only to be told thar after my call back and the promise of delivery this morning they had cancelled the whole order. You had better refund me straight away as far as I am concerned its a form of theft and breach of a contract made between your store and myself. Please think twice about using asda as this is the 3rd complaint in a few months.

Nick's rude and nasty attitude made my shopping experience far from satisfactory. On 30th September I visited the ASDA store located at [ Great Yarmouth] with the intention of seeking assistance from a manager regarding an issue I was facing. Unfortunately, Nick's behavior towards me was not only discourteous but also completely unprofessional. From the moment I approached him, his tone was condescending, his words were disrespectful, and his overall demeanor left a lot to be desired. As a customer, I believe that it is essential for store managers to uphold a standard of professionalism and courtesy. However, Nick's conduct fell far below this expectation. Rather than providing appropriate support and guidance, he chose to belittle and dismiss me, leaving me feeling disrespected and marginalized. I have always had positive shopping experiences at ASDA

Came to asda this evening, couldn't use my asda rewards app coupon kept cancelling lady wasn't very helpful at all said well nothing we can do you can use it another time will still be on there! ... could hear that it cancelled more than once yet didn't come over Straight away just stood wiping down the self services! Very unhelpful shop may take my services elsewhere for furture purchases

Lots of opportunities for food, drink, clothing, etc. This asda is extremely large and has a massive car park that is next to the River Yare and just past the River Bure. It is on the road North Quay which is usually very busy and also near the A47 roundabout in Runham so expect traffic jams to occur.

Found it to be a very messy untidy store but otherwise it's better than some other Asda stores I've been into. Staff leave packaging strewn across the floor and leave their rollers in aisles blocking them. However that to me is typical of the scruffy nature of Asda stores. Think they try to have as few staff as possible so results in a poorer customer experience

Great store items I need were in stock but they downside is 9 out of 10 items I normally place online were out of stock but was actually in stock in store hence the 3 star review think someone needs to sort the online stock out

Massive store. Good for doing a holiday food shop when staying in local caravan park.

Good asda. But unfortunately, there was meat left out of the fridge on the floor in crates. which is not good for a big supermarket chane

Staff seem to be more bothered with chatting each other up than helping customers. Grumpy, rude and generally unpleasant. Would definitely choose another supermarket over this one locally.

I've been popping into this shop for a while now, the place looks clean and tidy, the aisles are quite roomy compared to some supermarkets I've been too. The Store is signed well and items are easy to find, there seems to be plenty of staff on the shop floor in case you need help. I went to the cafe during my last trip and ordered Pizza, the slices were huge, I had basically a half of pizza and only cost me the price of two slices, good value for money, the staff interaction was excellent.

This shop is huge and filled with just about everything you need grocery and clothing wise. Was very busy when we went, which I find a little unnerving. Nice clean shop with fully filled shelves

Good store usually well stocked but yesterday could have done with a top up about 3pm bit sparce.

Been coming to this branch of ASDA for over 20 years. It's changed a lot, it's a lot posher than it used to be. On my last visit yesterday it looks like the store has undergone some modernisation. The cafe is bright, modern and clean and the entrance to the store seems to have been updated as have the tills. I visited the cafe on this occasion, it's pretty much self service mostly besides ordering, paying for and receiving your food. The menu is pretty limited though you can get a decent jacket potato here. You'd pay about £8 for it anywhere else, here it was £4. There's an optician, chemist on site too and a petrol station. There's a branch of McDonald's in the car park too if you want something different.

It's OK, it's like your average asda, came here as my nephew's wanted one of those prime drinks and this place had one of the new ones for £2, I understand there's a bit of a craze for these items at the moment, but they have restricted them to 1 per person, OK fair enough, but when you've got 2 kids that require not good, as the lady in front of me was trying to buy 2 as she had 2 daughters but the till staff won't budge same when she requested a manager, So I paid for 1 and came back a couple of hours later and bought the second one, maybe allow people to buy 2 then just 1 least then there's a chance for everyone to have one. Otherwise would of given 5 stars, place was clean and tidy on our visit, the toy section was good.

Been using ASDA since the day it opened. Do my main weekly shop and visit every other day for essentials etc. Unfortunately the store has now deteriorated in both it's cleanliness and poor stock. If you visit around 10am the aisles are packed with trollies stocking the shelves and dozens of staff doing personalised shopping for people who are too idle to shop for themselves. Shoppers like me struggle to get round the store, the staff are unhelpful and will not move to let you through. Stock lies on the floor, and staff walk by instead of picking it up. Empty boxes are everywhere. The prices are also not competitive any more. The worst Big Supermarket in Gt Yarmouth. I now shop at Tesco in Caister or Lidl and Aldi in town. The management have let a good store deteriorate.

Nice McDonalds cheap easy convenient food with a drive thru and eat in options. Good location just off Acle New Road and well connected to the rest of Yarmouth.

It used ro be ok but every time I go I here there are less and less tills, the prices are going up and up....to the point tesco seems the better option atm.

Helpful staff good layout and great products

Thought I would take advantage of their 25% discount on wine when purchasing 6 bottles. Big display clearly labelling prices at £6.50 for Riocha. When checked receipt went through at £8.50! When complained told mistake and wine not labelled correctly and nothing they could do. Complained to manager who said wait I will see what I can do and came back with £2.50 gift card!! which goes nowhere near enough for the hassle and time taken to complain. Terrible service, false advertising and how many customers have been overcharged without realising. Have attached photos of the display. Shame on you Asda Be wary!

Went to Asda with my 2 boys this morning to get prime drink and what an experience for the kids it was such a laugh, all the kids were to excited until you got in the shop a few of the staff were absolutely disgraceful, faces liked slapped arses shouting at the kids not to run, as I was walking towards the drink i even see a member of staff take a handful of bottles and hand them to other members of staff her face was so moody i wish i had took names and put them on here, great memories with my kids thou it was like that film jingle all the way....

We do a bit of shopping every year here on our holiday. Great staff as always. Last week we came and a staff member was reducing clothes to £1 or less! We picked up a lot. Found some great items. (Whi h helps a lot when you have 4 kids) Manged to get everything we wanted to. It was busy but we went through the tills quickly. Oh also they didn't have the scan and go scanners working no idea why but that was a bit annoying although as stated we got through the tills quickly

All ok as usual, but the shelves do look a little empty.

Very good overall, it has everything that you need for a superstore, also a café, pharmacy and clothes.

super annoying supermarket to order from. they seem to have some type of super power that allows them to know my most important product in my shopping list and they always remove it from my order. never the placeholders that i choose to reach the minimum spend limit for delivery to be worth it. always the number 1 thing i want. i hate this shop so much, how do you not have any pads? like i understand switching to a different brand but just taking it off my order? people buy pads when they NEED it, don’t just take it off my order. doesn’t even give me the option to cancel the order after they remove it without my consent. shame on me i guess, i thought third time lucky but it seems that every time i need something specific quickly, asda will just let you down.

Impressed with the selection of homewares and kids toys, only visited briefly for a few supplies when staying at local holiday park. Staff were friendly and the place was clean and tidy.

Just like any other supermarket, you can find good bargains here, but on the flip side, I've found most products to either be matched for price or higher priced, for that it gets 3 star, but it looses a star for a rude member of staff in the cafe

Ordered a toaster on line and got a text and email saying it was there for collection after travelling 40 minutes to pick it up I was told it was still on the truck helpful NOT, the gentleman who came to so call help said it was his first day back from holiday and it was not down to him. I asked for a refund and was told that was also not down to him and to top it all off he insisted in keep calling me Bud. No wonder people order things on line with Amazon. Customer service at its lowest. well done proved my point to my wife.

Went to the pharmacy, pharmacist on a break so I was told to go elsewhere. Shame Asda haven't worked out how to cover a break.

I used to do my main shop at ASDA but over the past year it has really gone down hill, the products have deteriorated in quality and the choice has declined. Disappointing and it can't all be blamed on Covid . Think I will stick with Tesco and Lid until they start to improve if they ever do.

Fantastic layout and location is excellent. Huge carpark and lots of stock choice and the prices are very reasonable. Staff friendly and helpful if required

Easy access for shopping on way out of town

Y family Visited today to be accused of shop lifting by the security guard absolutely disgusting and degrading behaviour by the guard!!! Made a 21 year old girl embarrassed and scared with her son, Would not happen where we come from in west midlands. Definitely DONT reccomend shopping here!!! Investigation is being sought as this is not acceptable behaviour and bullying!!!

I had great service food came on time coffee is lovely although I asked for a regular cup but filled it as a large oops but never over spilt all round very happy with the service that I had friendly staff keep it up guys by the looks of it you can’t satisfy everyone and the majority of the people that complain are the old ones hahaha it’s because they have nothing better to do lol but keep it up your doing a good job guys I will be definitely coming back Many thanks

Not a bad store to shop it we went into the 'cafe' area that was totally empty (for good reason at 3pm). The food items were sure and no vegan options to pick from. No soya milk so I had the choice of a small black coffee or a regular black coffee so I opted for the regular and my partner had a regular latte. The drab, sad looking and extremely miserable lady gave us our cups, yes, nasty machine coffee, they cannot even be bothered to make a coffee. So we took our expensive coffee cups to the machine which had the option of small or large coffee. Naturally I opted large because of the two options at the till. Of course it all poured over, what was I thinking? Why would you match what you were being sold with the choices on the machine, that would be too logical. Just left the overspill on the side and on the table after. Will not be going back, but it also looks that everyone else has not gone back.Poor show, "Get the ASDA we don't care feeling"

Came to this store multiple times during our stay in Yarmouth. The food was lovely and hot for everyone. The toilets were lovely and clean and the staff here were very friendly. It was commented that the staff here offered a substantial amount of BBQ sauce when asked for it, pleasing our party. Despite this, multiple times the delivery of food for some of our group was prolonged and was not fast at all for a fast food restaurant. This meant that while some of us had our food, a couple people were still waiting. Straws were also missing from multiple drinks on multiple occasions. Overall, I would return to this McDonalds.

To call it a superstore is a bit exaggerated, i called in for dark rye bread, they didn't have any, looked for tandoori powder mix, none, searched for the innocent brand orange juice, empty shelf, cutting a long story short, i had 8 items on my list, i found 2 of them, this happens nearly every time i visit this store, but never at other stores. considering the size of this store the check out area is ridiculously small, the self service tills have a mind of their own, I'm becoming quite paranoid about using these, as whenever i do they seem to flash a red beacon light and tell me a member of staff is on the way to assist me, normally a woman arrives who taps in a few numbers on screen then runs away before it happens again a minute later, good parking though, but thats about it.

I used the Great Yarmouth store today and decided to use the scan and go for the first time . I had placed 7 or 8 items in my bag and the scanner froze😱. Approached a staff member who very kindly sorted it all for me by replacing the scanner and then rescanning my goods for me. The wheel on my trolley then decided to lock🤪 ( I had gone too close to the exit door). The lady very kindly also sorted that for me. I finally finished my shopping without further problems. Staff were kind, helpful and smiling the whole time and a credit to the company, I just wish I had noted their names ,but I felt such a Plonker didn't cross my mind .

Went into great Yarmouth store today, asked assistant where they keep, the bacon crumblies, I was near the salad dressings don't know was the reply . To busy to help look or find out as talking with 2 other staff about family. Went to pay asked another lady, who got on her radio, and low and behold another lady came with a pkt, oh guess which aisle the same place I had already asked the assistant, who was too busy talking
